Details: portable boombox does NOT allow you to paste radio station urls in !! In the test branch it did. Why have you blocked and stopped people from pasting in there own address to radio stations. I am NOT happy. I purchased solely on the basis I could paste my urls in and play my music. I do NOT want to play your selected channels nor do I want anything to do with the BBC as in the UK we are rust boombox radio url

Details: Posted July 1. Unforunately, Facepunch removed the ability to use custom URLs in the DLC pack. I was told it was because of abuse during staging on their official discord server. - First you need Voice Props DLC pack on your account.
- Next you need to open rust local files.
- Then open the folder (Your Rust Folder)\RustClient_Data\StreamingAssets
- Open file RadioList.txt with Notepad.
- Add your radiostation.
Edited file must looks like this:

Works if the serverowner adds the same list on the server.
it has to be on the server too, otherwise it would be abusable, bc everyone else whos
near by would connect to the adress in the radiolist, and this is a privacy issue.
@everyone This convar needs to be added server side. You may easily do this if you are a server admin/owner. Will not work if the change is made client side only.

I've tried adding several different radio stations to my server using the 'BoomBox.ServerUrlList "name,URL" command and none of them actually play.
Is anyone else getting this issue or knows how to rectify it? I know it's early days but I wasn't sure if it's a game bug or something on my end.
Nevermind, I noticed the command was listed slightly wrong where I saw it.
I saw others were having this issue too. boombox.serverurllist name,URL worked for me (with no quotation marks) :P
Edit "Rust\RustClient_Data\StreamingAssets\RadioList.txt" and reload game.
You must add URL that is normaly Played ,not paused.
90% of the urls are normaly paused
Hey Airkite can I edit this file you mentioned above and delete all rust shit default radios. They are still cool but my players listen to one country radio and some music added by my ; ) They even asked how they can remove the other stations and why I added them or re-order them.
Also when do add URLs with command after 4th or 5th custom URL boombox fuck up and I have custom added radios, all previous 3 added are gone. Can I force them from the file again.

Dear Developers and people with more knowledge,
Is there any way to fix or just modify boombox play decay (usage) durability? Currently, use one plugin that cycles over discord past 2-3 days to prevent boombox from decay but looks like only stops normal decay. When I play the music they break crazy fast. I want for example to throw 2 speakers - one at a bandit and one at the outpost and make them play custom radio 24/7 but guess. After a couple of minutes, they break up.
They do take actual decay damage while playing, so any plugin that prevents decay to then will work.
Two similar plugins are currently pending review on the site to address this.
ok also is there existing one currently and I do not like to f*ck up whole decay on my server or change it in any ways. tried before and not sure if something happened or nah but default is fine. only want boombox to be like godmode. this decay is insane now.

This one doesn't technically alter decay damage. It just alters a property of all boom boxes that determines how much damage they take from playing (sets it to 0). No unwanted side effects.
There are a few others floating around on Discord which just prevent decay damage to Boom Boxes. Those work just as well, but probably use a little more hook time since they hook the damage event. There is no side effect to preventing decay damage to boom boxes since they don't take decay damage under any other circumstances.

I'm sorry that I didn't elaborate further in my original message. I was not intending to be a dick. I am just very busy and didn't have time to explain on my phone. I know for a fact that the file you downloaded was not the plugin because the error message indicates that the file had at least 1612 lines, but the plugin only had a few hundred.
I've seen multiple people report errors like this to me before when downloading a plugin from GitHub. Issue is always that they downloaded an HTML page or some other file, not the plugin code. GitHub isn't the most user friendly for simply downloading a file, since it's primarily designed for developers to collaborate using other software to push and pull code, so it's understandable if somebody downloads a file incorrectly and needs a tutorial, as I have given multiple people.
