The SOPMOD (Special Operations Peculiar MODification) is the collective term for a set of attachments used primarily for the M4A1, usually containing a Red Dot Sight, an AN/PEQ-2A laser module, a silencer and a M203 grenade launcher. The SOPMOD in-game is used by the Special Air Service, Task Force 141, and rarely by the U.S. Army Rangers.
The SOPMOD variant of the M4A1 appears in the singleplayer campaigns of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

The SOPMOD is used in the missions Blackout, Safehouse, Ultimatum, All In and No Fighting In The War Room.
Using the console command give all on the level Ultimatum, an M4A1 SOPMOD without the Red Dot Sight may be obtained. This is a SOPMOD variant used by NPCs.

[Vanilla] M4A1 SOPMOD :: Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Remastered
This mod adds the M4A1 SOPMOD, from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Remastered, for anyone that can carry an assault rifle. This is the FINAL mod that I will publish for this year (2016).

- You can apply camo and custom colors to the weapon.
- Custom sounds from Modern Warfare 3.
- You can configure the mod to your liking.
- You can upgrade the weapon to magnetic and beam tiers.
- Custom model for the aim, crit bonus, miss damage, and free kill.
- I've reduced most of the texture from 2048x2048 to 1024x1024 except for the body, since the body is big and is a single texture.
- I've disabled the rest of the attachments, since there aren't any models for those.
- The left hand that's holding the Vertical Grip may not look right.
- Fix some bugs, if any.
- Port more weapons.
- DTZxPorter for creating Wraith Archon - A Call of Duty Model Exporter.
- Activision/Infinity Ward for publishing/developing Modern Warfare 3 and Modern Warfare Remastered respectively.
- E3245 for porting and creating additonal textures for the weapon.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, the SOPMOD version of the M4A1 appears once, in the starting loadout of the mission The Only Easy Day. Was Yesterday, though later the silencer is detached, and thus the "SOPMOD" designation is removed from the HUD. The difference compared to the Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare equivalent is that it lacks the AN/PEQ-2A laser sight.

Итак, ты скачал архив с модель оружия. Открыть его можно с помощью любого архиватора (WinRAR, WinZip, 7Zip, FreeArc и т.д.): они поддерживают любые форматы, имеющиеся у нас на сайте.
Если скачан vpk файл, то открывать его не обязательно, если только ты не хочешь заменить какую-нибудь часть, например w-модель, в руках у персонажей. Для этого *.vpk файл можно открыть с помощью специальных программ для просмотра соответствующего типа файлов, например, Crafty или GCFScape, и уже вытащить от туда то, что нужно заменить.Твоя следующая цель - провести правильную установку.
Установка моделей оружия для Counter-Strike Source
По аналогии с установкой моделей (скинов) оружия для Half-Life 2 и Team Fortress - открываем папку с CSS (Counter-Strike Source):
Далее смотрим на наличие папки /custom/. Если ее нет, то создаем.
Смотрим, что мы вытащили из архива с моделью:
- Если *.vpk файл, то просто копируем его в папку /custom/
- Папки models, material, sound, scripts, . нужно скопировать в какую-нибудь подпапку, например, для удобства назовем ее по названию оружия и уже туда скопируем папки из архива.
Далее, запускаем игру и смотрим на результат. Если оружие не появилось, значит что-то сделано не правильно.
