I just bought the MSFS 2020 standard edition by mistake (planned to buy the premium deluxe edition). Is there a way to upgrade it to the premium deluxe edition rather than paying the full price of the latter?

(The upgrades are not available in the Microsoft store)

The only way I can see you can solve your issue is to do the following:

1. Load the game

2. On home screen, click on MARKETPLACE tab

3. Then click on FULL CATALOGUE tab

4. Click on BUNDLE tab

5. You will now see option to purchase a bundle (including Premium, Premium Deluxe)

Pros

+You get the premium deluxe edition within the base game you purchased already

Cons

The price you pay in total will be most likely be more than if you purchased the PREMIUM DELUXE EDITION outright. This is an assumption as I don't know what you paid.

Alternative solutions

1. Contact Microsoft customer support and see if they are willing to do you a deal.

(Likelihood of success if you purchased the digital edition, very slim unfortunately but miracles do happen.)

2. You can find offers on PREMIUM DELUXE EDITION around the internet around £70/90$ if this is cheaper than upgrading.

Добрый день. При установке MSFS 2020 зависло на 27 гб - вроде на файле "fspatch-0.1.3.7" (всё что помню от названия). Оставлял на всю ночь качаться, за 7 часов скачало всего 27 гб. Говорят помогает удалять все файлы .fspatch и .fspackage, но у меня игра вылетает при включенном проводнике (перед загрузкой выключаю explorer.exe, если не выключать будет вылетать бесконечно, так если включить во время установки проводник снова, то игра сразу же вылетит). Получается невозможно скачать игру без вылета, или перезапуска :(
