Looks like I'm going to have to try and burn them on nothing but Overtures since Vital Stars are no longer in the game.
This thread was made before the game launched, well before the 100k orbs was listed as DLC in my Steam library. I never got around to updating this thread because I was playing DMC 5.

I'm working off of how the bonus orbs are not listed in the DLC section in my Steam library. I really don't get this problem. What does the extra orbs really matter? DMC challenge was never In it's normal mode so getting more skills right from the start won't exactly make things that much easier when it's already pretty easy. By the time you get to the real challenge of the game the 100K orbs barely matter at all.
I would never pay for the extra orbs specifically but since it's already there with the pre-order I think it's a nice extra that boosts that makes the gameplay more interesting right from that start.
You get some moveset variety right from the start instead of having to use the most simplistic moveset while unlocking better gameplay as you go.

but there are skills that cost up to 50k. and no, its not 1 or 2 skills. but a lot of later skills cost that much.
Not only that, but there are skills to max out on other other two characters too and for every weapon. or ability.

Бывают и редкие случаи, приходится искать ini файл, где будут прописаны пути либо ещё что-то относящееся к dlc. Рыскать его нужно везде, начиная от appdata/local, заканчивая на папке с игрой.
Способ найденный на просторах интернета (к сожалению сам проверить не могу):
1. Ищешь 2 файла в папке игры: valve.ini и steam_emu.ini
2. Открываешь их и удаляешь все DLC, которые тебе не нужны (фотка подходит для обоих файлов)
3. Сохраняешь, если не сработает, попробуй установить галку Только чтение на файлах.
Возможно игру придется начать с начала, т.к. DLC могут остаться для твоего сохранения, ведь этим способом мы их не удаляем, а лишь делаем так, что бы игра не находила DLC.

Nero's Devil Breakers are the best part of DMC 5 in my opinion. Having to adapt to what you find in the field is an interesting challenge and a great way to mix things up. You round a corner, see a new Devil Breaker, and sometimes your entire strategy can change while still remaining stylish and incredibly fun.
. That is, until you round the corner and see a Sweet Surrender. Or a Pasta Breaker. Or a Mega-Buster.
I know it'll sound hypocritical, but I'm actually glad these Devil Breakers are as bad as they are. Imagine the alternative. If they were as good, if not BETTER than the default Devil Breakers, but you could ONLY get them via preorders/special editions rather than playing the game, that'd be a pretty serious problem.
If you want a more pure experience, there's a very easy way to disable all the DLC Breakers.
Or, if there are only one or two you don't like, you can disable each individual DLC Breaker on a case by case basis.
- Go to your Library tab on steam.
- Use the "Detail View" layout on the top right. This is the default layout.
- Go to Devil May Cry 5. Then, go to the section marked "DLC" beneath your achievements. Scroll down to the Devil Breakers, and uncheck the box of each Devil Breaker you want disabled
- Let the game "update" and you're done!
You're done! It's pretty simple overall.
I would highly recommend after you've played through the game a few times and gotten your fill, you disable all DLC Devil Breakers. The DLC Devil Breakers are disabled in Bloody Palace, which to me suggests that the intended way to play the game is without them.
It is also worth mentioning that if you ever reenable the DLC breakers, any spares you had in Nico's shop will still be waiting for you, so you don't lose anything by disabling them for awhile.
