Avalanche Studios продолжает выпускать обновления для кооперативного шутера Generation Zero, где игроки сражаются против боевых роботов. Вернее сейчас этим занимается дочерняя студия Systemic Reaction, которые как раз анонсировали выход нового масштабного обновления. Релиз апдейта состоится уже 27 апреля сразу на всех платформах и ознаменует старт третьего года поддержки проекта.

Как это часто бывает новый патч добавит в игру еще больше контент, функций и улучшений. Но его главная задача существенно обновить мир Generation Zero. У игроков появится возможность соорудить собственную базу и участвовать в её обороне от атак новых врагов. Вместе с этим, авторы перенесут события игры на десять лет вперед, что позволит добавить новые технологии и события.

Generation Zero: Обновление "Сопротивления" примечания к исправлению

Обновление "Сопротивления" появится в мире Generation Zero. Оно очень большое и долго готовилось. Наконец-то началось строительство базы, а вместе с ним и новые возможности и проблемы в Остертерне. Самое лучшее во всем этом? Все, кроме набора советского оружия, включено в базовую игру для всех бойцов сопротивления. Это обновление вышло 4 мая, для ПК и PS4, а для игроков Xbox планируется выпустить позже в этом месяце.

После того, как вы начнете, вам нужно будет экипироваться, наращивать и готовиться к предстоящему бою. Мы предоставим вам и вашим товарищам-бойцам открыть для себя и изучить то, что в вашем распоряжении для защиты вашей новой домашней базы, и с течением года ваши (стационарные) арсеналы будут пополняться.

Прочные конструкции - не единственный способ защитить ваш недавно обнаруженный командный центр. Каждое успешное сопротивление развивается вместе с его врагами, даже с его вспомогательным оборудованием. Экспериментальное оружие помогло вам одержать верх, а экспериментальные предметы - помочь вам перейти в наступление. С каждой успешной защитой вашей базы вы будете находить новые расходные материалы для создания и исследования. Они варьируются от альтернативных аптечек до новых типов боеприпасов.

Строительство базы и новые ремесленные изделия - не единственные дополнения к Generation Zero в этом месяце, поскольку мы внесли значительные изменения в городской район, добавив больше интересных вещей для изучения с помощью повествования об окружающей среде, а также обновили деревья испытаний, чтобы включить новые связанные с базовым строительством.

Some machines act passively in multiplayer during base defense missions
Rivals and reapers dying without player interference
Shock wires can damage and down other players if another player or machine triggers the shock wire
Crafting assignments, e.g. ‘Craft a first aid kit”, can sometimes not be completed
Weapons can disappear if being placed in loot containers
In some rare cases the reaper rival icon won’t appear on the map
Selected active specialization not saved, defaults to last acquired specialization
Client that completes a horde mission in MP can have their single-player horde mode incorrectly locked afterward (Mission can be unlocked again according to design)
[Assignments] Unable to complete “Kill a Seeker” while lying prone
[Accessibility menu] Text size setting doesn’t affect the size of the text in the chatbox
Screen flashes red when healed by healing ammo
Picking up weapons changes the order of the weapon slots
The issue with machine corpses floating/flying away is less frequent but can still occur

May Update - Patch Notes

The Resistance Update is landing in the world of Generation Zero. This one is big and has been a long time coming. Base building is finally here and with it comes some brand new features and challenges in Östertörn. The best part about all these? Everything except the Soviet Weapons Pack is included in the base game for all resistance fighters to enjoy. This update releases today, May 4th, for PC and PS4, and is slated to release later this month for Xbox players.

To kick off your first defense missions, you’ll have to find your way to the northern part of the Forest Region and complete the “Good News” mission that triggers upon entering the area. Once completed, you’ll have access to the Command Center. It’s here you will stand your ground against the incoming machine horde.

Once initiated, you’ll need to gear up, build-out and prepare for the incoming fight. We will leave it to you and your fellow fighters to discover and explore what’s at your disposal to defend your new home base, and there will be more additions to your (stationary) arsenals as the year progresses.

Solid structures won't be the only way to defend your newly found command center. Every successful resistance evolves along with its enemies, even with its support equipment. Experimental weapons helped you get the upper hand, and experimental items could help you go on the offensive. With each successful defense of your base, you will find new consumable items to craft and explore. These range from alternative health packs, all the way to new ammo types.

Base building and new craftables are not the only additions to Generation Zero this month, as we’ve made extensive revamps to the forest region, adding more fun things to explore through environmental storytelling, as well as updating the challenge trees to include a new one related to base building.

Lastly, the Soviet Weapons Pack is also incoming as a paid addition to the game. With this weapons cache, you’ll find:

Kotenok Sniper Rifle - A reliable addition to your long-range loadouts
AT-WAD Assault Rifle - Built to surprise your enemies with silence, and rate of fire
RLG-7 Rocket Launcher - A powerful alternative to send highly explosive gifts to unsuspecting machines

These will come with attachments, of course. You will have to find which combinations work best for your fighting style.

December Update - Patch Notes

The final update before the end of the year is here! In this patch, we’re bringing along some general fixes and improvements to the game to keep things in good shape before we roll into 2021. This update also prepares the game to enable the new U.S. Weapon Pack DLC that is coming soon - so be on the lookout!

Here are some things that we wanted to give a little extra attention to, and that we believe makes your experience just a little bit better!

[Community Feedback] Added option to turn off heart beat sound when sprinting
Several locations added or revamped in the NW part of the Farmlands Region, with custom narratives and a few surprises!
We added directional signs in all major bunkers to help you avoid getting lost!
Weapon damage against environment objects has been tweaked to better match damage to machines
Inventory weapon stats tweaked in the Inventory UI to better align to gameplay feel - weapons have not been rebalanced, we’ve just updated the stats that you see
Melee weapons now have a charge indicator
Inventory items now sort by quality level
The name of a Collectible is now displayed in the HUD when picking it up
Rival name plates are now displayed for dead Rivals when aiming at them
