Welcome to the Murder Party wiki! Murder Party is a Roblox whodunnit murder/action game, similar to Murder Mystery 2. With different maps, new roles, new teams, different mechanics, and different skins.
Currency [ ]
Coins can be used in the store to buy boxes which give you different skins for your items. Coins can also be used in forging. You can gain coins in the game by collecting them or by completing your daily missions. You can only hold 15 coins for 1 round. Gems can also be used in the store to buy boxes with higher chances of getting better skins. You can gain gems by levelling up or from your weekly missions and exclusive passes.[free and Robux worth].
There has been a new box called the 'Adventure Box' the + box for that has not come out yet

Before there were indvisual boxes for all (guns, knifes e.t.c) but now its a shuffle for all.

Game Mechanics [ ]
Every role except Murderers can swap roles. You can only swap roles if someone is dead, whatever role they were they will have a icon that shows what role they are.

Since there is more than one role on a team, it can be different types of battles with the Sheriff and Murderer. 1v1, 2v2, 2v1.
The game has a bar that reaches to the top, saying "Searching for other players..", a emoji will pop up, this indicates where players are. The emoji shown will be a blushed face.
There is a time limit for how long the round is. The time limit caps at 120 seconds. If there are two people on team murder, then a short 40 second round will ensue, where the murderer(s) and hunter(s) must battle to win. This will not affect the winning team though.
If any other role swaps their role with the Murderer, they will become a BETRAYER. Once you are the BETRAYER, you will not be allowed to switch out with any other roles. This applies to the murderer.

Roles & Teams [ ]
As said, there are new roles and teams, them being Team Murder, Team Party, Team Anarchy, Team Law, and a "team" where it's just the Innocents. Each team having different roles on those teams. There can be also more than one role on each time, example: 2 Murderers instead of just 1.
Murderer - The Murderer's goal to win is to kill everyone on the map, mainly the Sheriff(s). There can be more than one Murderer as said, they are able to throw their knife and lock on players (you can click 'E' to throw is you are on PC). If there are 2 murderers (with and without Hunter(s)), at the end of round, the remaining Murderers will have to fight each other. This also applies
Hunter - The Hunter's goal to win is to help the Murderer(s) and survive at the end. Hunters are given a crossbow at the start of the round, and can use this to stun people for a short amount of time. This can be particularly handy for the murderer, as the murderer can then kill the stunned target. However, when all other targets are killed and only the Murderer(s) and Hunter(s) remain, the Hunter has two choices: either survive, sense the Hunter is weak compared to the Murderer, sense they can actually kill them, or kill the Murderer by shooting them with the crossbow. Another way is if the Hunter swaps roles if there's a dead Sheriff or if there was another Murderer that died, they can kill the Murderer. Hunters used to be Team Anarchy.
Sheriff - The Sheriffs goal to win is to kill any role that isn't on their team, mainly the Murderer(s). If the Sheriff is killed, other players beside the Murderer can pick up the gun and fight against the Murderer(s). If the Sheriff shoots someone on their team, on the opposite team, a Hunter, or a Innocent, they and the person they shot will both die and return to the lobby. The sheriffs goal is to stop all other teams (except team law), from winning.
Detective - The Detectives goal to win is to survive without being stopped. Detectives are given a magnifying glass at the beginning of the round, and they can use this to identify other player's roles. When holding out the magnifying glass, a triangular shape appears on the screen, which is only visible to the user.. If players are in it they will be scanned and then their roles will be publicly displayed. The roles are shown when a certain emoji pops up and sound effect plays.
Hacker - The Hackers goal to win is to hack to 100% on their laptop without being killed by the Murderer or Sheriff, or be stopped by other roles winning. The Hacker has the ability to teleport, which can come in handy if the Murderer is chasing you, however has a short 14 second cool down, and you can't choose where you will go.
Party Planner - The Party Planner's goal to win is to throw party hats at people without being stopped by other roles, the more hats thrown at people, the more chance you will win the round. It will work more easier if there are other Party Planners.
Innocent - The Innocents goal to win is to survive without being stopped. Innocents have no special powers/abilities in game, and their main goal is to survive through the full two minutes of a game.
