Hey guys, I don't know how it happened but the music in my game changed into some kind of rock music which I find very annoying and uncompatible with the game's lore. I am not subscribed to a mod or anything. It happened after I got the El Dorado DLC and patched the game. How can I change it back to good old medieval tunes?
All the music dlc are unticked in my launcher.

Shouldn't be doing it if it's unticked in your launcher, however if you've got another mod that checks for it then it could remain enabled I think. 6 мар. 2015 в 10:45Dude you are my hero, I forgot unticking that one as it doesn't say "music" or "songs" on the title :D I was playing the game with the audio muted because of this, thank you so much man!

I love metal
I love EU series
I don't like metal while playing EU, it does not fit together. I disabled metal music dlc.

Curiously same happen to me with the xmas themes here and CKII (songs of yuletide or something)
Even when people praise it and I think some lyrics are joke, I hate being supposed to be a kick butt ruler scheming and all while hearing cloying xmas songs, as you say I feel doesn’t fit and destroy immersion.
worst idea i have ever seen in gaming in my life. the company must be hired some metal listener geek. They are a Swedish developer correct, so of course they like Metal. That particular genre of music is very popular in Scandinavia but its certainly not my cup of tea. My opinion is it doesn't really belong in a game like this and its an attempt to make the game feel less bookishly nerdy to play and broaden its appeal a little which I think has the opposite effect in many regards but its something I've learned to get over and ignore now because I like the game so much and some of the other song and music choices are really interesting and compelling. I really like their rendition of hark the herald angels sing for example. Something is nice about hearing an explicitly religious song like that and its really well performed. Now excuse me while go re-establish the Kingdom of Jerusalem as the Knights. (Заблокирован) 3 янв. 2017 в 9:33 3 янв. 2017 в 12:38There is a music shuffler underneath the in-game time of date near the speed panel in the upper hand screen where you can configure what songs you want to play, whether they go onto the next one or if you want to turn them off.
For instance i could turn all the music off & just play the main theme nonstop at about 25% music volume etc.
No need to turn off your DLC.

Why I would waste time seeing other people playing if I can do it here myself?
Also it´s a ♥♥♥♥ move by Sabaton then, not Paradox, else no video should have music. Doesn´t make sense to block the music, would drop sales as most people like to hear stuff first before buying.
3 янв. 2017 в 15:10People who use online streaming or lets play can use the shuffler to turn the Sabaton music off to avoid this problem or uncheck the DLC its very avoidable.
Sabaton do have a cetain degree of legal rights & copyright (they get some money for sales but everytime its heard online they are losing money because you are sharing the product), but im not exactly a law expert to really spell out what they are.

Всего дополнений к Europa Universalis IV огромное множество и чтобы купить их все, вам понадобится весьма приличная сумма, но в рамках раздачи три DLC можно получить на халяву, а именно: Catholic Majors Unit Pack, добавляющий 9 уникальных боевых единиц для католических стран Европы, Songs of Yuletide, которое привносит в игру рождественскую музыкальную композицию за авторством Андреаса Вальдетофта, и Evangelical Majors Unit Pack, добавляющее 8 уникальных боевых единиц для протестантских стран Европы.

Есть какой нибудь способ закинуть свою музыку в плейлист Европы? Да, вопрос глупый, но у меня не особо мощный комп, а при открытом браузере 40-60 фпс, что не очень комфортно.(а после 1700 года вообще молчу) Буду признателен

Активный, С чего интересно ты меня комми назвал. Ну да не суть, можно как я помню попробовать засунуть музон в папку с игрой, либо использовать моды с музыкой.

Активный, это не токсичность, а троллинг. Интернет всетаки. А и Сталин плохой, на аве только из-за его сердечка :)
вроде как для этого нужно в папку с музоном закинуть свой в нужном разрешении, после чего найти файл в котором перечислены названия песен и добавить туда свои. Как по мне легче музон скачать где бы ты его не слушал и на фоне врубать.

Как добавить свою музыку в 4ую часть? Достаточно ли будет просто в папку music скинуть и там в текстовом файле по образцу с другими песнями описать её?
