Hexproof

Hexproof is a keyword and modifier that causes the monsters with it to be unaffected by Hex curse, but can be bypassed under certain conditions. Hexproof doesn't affect Mark curses.

Hexes on Hexproof enemies can still accumulate Doom.

The player character can have this buff by stealing it from a monster when using Headhunter Headhunter
Leather Belt Requires Level 40 +(25-40) to maximum Life +(40-55) to Strength
+(40-55) to Dexterity
+(50-60) to maximum Life
(20-30)% increased Damage with Hits against Rare monsters

There is actually a difference between hex proof and curse immune.

Those bosses, all totems, malachai hearts, feral rigwald, plaza boss are curse immune. Hexproof is the map and rare/magic mob mod.

Practically the only diffeence I have found so far is whether or not youre being screwed over using cospris will (does not bypass curse immmunity, just hexproof).

Did GGG use "Immune to curses" instead of "Hexproof" in Expedition just so we have no way to play around it?

Yes, the same reason why the frogs apply not-temp-chains to you with their projectiles, to remove any counterplay. Pretty sure those little floaty drops of silver are the same, they not-chill you so you are never able to avoid the effects. Not sure about those though.

Well, yeah. Enjoy your build diversity. Same as with "immune to Cold Damage" instead of something like "Monster have 100% Cold Resistance" or "Reflects 100% of Cold Damage". You could work around those depending on your build. The way it is now, you just have a bunch of dead remnants that may as well just not be there.

Profane Bloom and hexproof

is it true that Profane Bloom allow to bypass hexproof only for self-casting spell, but not for triggered / blasphemy / Doedre hexes?

UPDATED: Occultist really bypasses Hexproof with Vixen on STANDART.
But Cospris+Vixen - NOT. At least in 3.12

Maybe you mixed this up with the Doom mechanic, which only applies to self-cast curses?

I am 100% certain that this is wrong. Triggered skills still count as "yours", otherwise you could crit with triggered skills while you have EO. Even Ancestral Bond does not allow Triggered skills to deal damage.
