I've had the Griffin swords diagreams for several levels, but I can't find a blacksmith to make them.

I finally found this blacksmith in Novigrad who requires me to do a quest for him first (On Dumplings and Swords). Only, I had to be lvl 24.

Before we knew there might be a few quests where monsters or bandits lower levels than Geralt might be hard to take out, but we also knew we could sometimes take someone out who was higher level than us. Not anymore though, if a mob is above your level you may as well forget about it.

Is it really meant to be this way? Do we really have to wait to get the lowest level Grifin swords until maybe the end part of the game? What's the purpose?

I'm lvl 15 and still can't get the best lvl 11 weapons?

I hope I've missed a blacksmith somewhere who can make these swords. I've even been to White Orchard in search of a blacksmith, but there was none. When you begin to struggle with mobs one level below your own you know it's time to gear up. I've known for a while but been unable to. So therefore I ask.

Can anybody give me the right tip here?

21 авг. 2015 в 6:19 Unless you wanna make the Mastercrafted version, which requires level 34, if I recall, you can have the sword made at any Journeyman blacksmith, there are several around. One for instance is Hierarch Square in Novigrad. There's a marker for the location and the smith is not far from there. You gotta be sure you have all the parts ready, if you don't, pin the diagram and check for the smith shop or craft them yourself from other components. Make sure you don't forge a sword you cannot use due to unmet level requirements.

There is journeyman blacksmith in Novigrad. I'll try to explain:
from Hierarch Square where Vivaldi is go down to an archway on your left, under it and turn left. He is in the corner but you may have to walk around the market for a bit for him to turn up.

I think in Blackbough and in Orton there are also journeymen blacksmiths. There is another one in Velen but I can't think of the name of the village off the top of my head. And one in Oxenfurt. You could probably google them.

I thought there was one down by the docks at the water front, but I was wrong. It was just a shaggy merchant dealing in almost nothing, hehe.

I've had all the parts ready for several levels. I've been wearing the armor for several levels, it's only the swords I can't find anybody to make - except the elf that requires me to do a lvl 24 quest first.

Like you say, I seem to rewmember there used to be two or three journeyman blackmisths in Velen, but now that I need them I can't find them.

Master blacksmiths would be just as fine, but there are always quests involved with them - quersts that are way above my lvl, so that's not an options, sadly. I do meed to find a journeyman blacksmith or at least not much more specialized than that. I'm only going on lvl 15.

Ah, that rings a bell what you say about one that isn't always there, he's at a different smaller square not long from where Vivaldi's store is. I'll try follow your directions. And if I fail, I'll try out Oreton.

Funny you mention that town because it's one of the few I apparently haven't visited yet (I noticed it when looking at the map, their message board is yellow and that means I either haven't been there or it's been a long time since I was there (so new quests have appeared).

Thank you, now I have something to work on.

And thanks to both of you for trying to help me out. This is such a frustrating situation. I've been trying to figure it out on my for so long, but now I'm beginning to have trouble because my gear is too bad, so I had to ask for help. Thanks.

I went straight over and found the blacksmith at the other square. But you know what was most funny of all, I cam from the opposite side and was heading from Hirarch Square so I could follow your directions from there. Instead I came from having spoken to the elf master crafter and turned left and over the first bridge I saw and straight into the arms of the journeyman blacksmith. well, so to speak. I saw the icon for his blacksmith stand to the right as I was running past on the left (he's located in the corner of the 'square'). - I also remember having spoken to him before and bought some stuff from him, but somehow I'd forgotten completely about who and where he was even though something told me there was a backsmith in Novigrad somewhere.

You saved my day, I was getting real tired of looking and failing, and of these lvl 11 swords that were the best I could find.

This mod modifies one novigrad merchant's shop, so he sells rare items, which:
- may be missed by player and never aquired later
- are hard to aquire because many quests must be completed first
- are unobtainable due to mutually exclusive choices
- are aquired randomly and are hard to find intentionally
- do not exist in the world of original game
- are quest items which are later removed from player's inventory by quest scripts

If you need Gwent cards, use The Gwent Card Dealer mod. This and Gwent mod are mutually exclusive, because they modify the same files.

Warning 1 : aforementioned merchant is available between 06:00 and 18:00.
Warning 2 : make sure other mods do not override changes made by this mod.
Renaming "modRareItemsMerchant" folder to something like "mod0500_RareItemsMerchant", so it is first alphabetically, might work.
Warning 3 : buying some witcher gear diagrams makes some witcher-gear-treasure-hunt-quests unfinishable.

How to install:
Extract "modRareItemsMerchant" folder from archive, move it into ". /The Witcher 3/mods/" folder (I mean game installation folder, NOT "My Documents")

В первую очередь вам следует добраться до Новиграда и прийти к месту, где на скриншоте располагается Геральт (черная стрелка).

Вам нужен вот этот парень - «Купец-спонсор».

Он продает бутылки за 1 крон, но покупает почти все товары по баснословным ценам.

1. Продаете торговцу всякое барахло пока у него не кончатся деньги.

2. Теперь скупаете у него все бутылки.

3. Снова продаете ему всякое барахло (кроме самих бутылок) пока у торговца снова не кончатся деньги).

4. Выходите из режима торговли.

5. Не выходя из диалога сразу же входите обратно в режим торговли. Как вы увидите, у торговца снова есть бутылки.

6. Повторяете пункты 2-5 пока не надоест или пока не закончатся вещи, которые вы хотите продать.
***Если бутылки кончились, помедитируйте день-два-три и они появятся вновь.

7. Отправляетесь к другим торговцам скупающим бутылки (советуем ростовщика в Новиграде, так как у него бутылки можно обменять на большое количество флоренов; останется лишь обменять флорены на кроны в банке Вивальди, в котором нет ограничений на обмен валюты).

Не на все товары у торговца самые выгодные цены, но вещи из раздела «мусор» можете продавать смело, кроме тех. что хотите разобрать на всякие полезности и одного важного исключения - морских раковин (объясним в разделе «Морские раковины»).

Наконец гайд получает продолжение. Сегодня расскажем вам о еще одном торговце с «глубокими» карманами. Поселился он в окрестностях все того же Новиграда, а именно на том месте, где на скриншоте ниже в очередной раз располагается Геральт (черная стрелка)

Персонажа зовут «Алхимик»

Поговорив с данным товарищем, мы услышим диалог, в котором выяснится, что Геральт признал в нем чародея, которого он видел в Лок Муинне во время случившегося там погрома с подачи короля Радовида V в «Ведьмак 2». Чародей сначала будет отнекиваться, но потом сознается и согласится торговать с Геральтом в обмен на сохранение тайны о роде собственных занятий. Если торговец бутылками не дает особой возможности объяснить его щедрые предложения, то этот парень похоже просто готов на все, лишь бы наш протагонист не выдал его на костер святой инквизиции охотникам за колдуньями.

Наверняка вам уже не раз попадался такой предмет как «Морские раковины», которые вы сбагривали торговцам за ничтожные 1-3 монеты или 5, если повезет. Кажется сейчас вы расстроитесь, так как с каждой раковины можно получить БОЛЕЕ 100 МОНЕТ. .

Делается это очень просто:
Идите к любому ремесленнику и разберите у него Морскую раковину на составляющие. Вы удивитесь, но составляющей раковины окажется черный или белый жемчуг (в зависимости от раковины), который можно продать за цену до 150 монет даже у тех же ремесленников. Но лучше конечно же пойти к нашему старому знакомому торгующему бутылками. Так же вы можете разобрать жемчужину на жемчужный порошок, который пригодится в алхимии.

В игре есть как минимум еще пара торговцев, о которых мы хотели бы рассказать. Эта информация появится немного позже. Так же в гайд будет добавлена информация о том, какие товары этим торговцам продавать следует, а какие нет.

You need this guy

He sells bottles for 1 coin and buys almost all products at fantastic prices.

1. Buy all the bottles.

2. Sell merchant unnecessary things (except bottles) until he runs out of money.

3. Exit the trade regime.

ATTENTION.
Not all the goods from the merchant the best prices, but things from the "trash" can safely sell, except those that want to take on all sorts of utility and one important exception - seashells (will explain in the section "Seashells").

After talking with this fellow we will hear a dialogue in which you find that Geralt recognized him as a magician whom he saw in Locke Maine during the mayhem happened there with the filing of the king of Radovid V in "The Witcher 2". The magician will first deny it, but then confesses and agrees to trade with Geralt in exchange for keeping secrets about the way their own lessons. If the merchant bottles of no special ability to explain his generous offer, this guy seems just ready to do anything our protagonist did not give him to the Witch Hunters.

Seashells
Certainly you have already come across such a subject like "Seashells" that you sold to traders for 1 to 3 coins or 5, if you're lucky. It seems now you will be upset, because every shell you can get MORE than 100 COINS.

This is done very simply:
Go to any craftsman and disassemble it a Seashell on the components.
