Hardware not connected on windows 10
I tried all steps mention on article related to it on focusrite support.
Uninstalled software and reinstalled it while making sure audio interface is not connected to laptop.
3.tried using all USB ports see if it has fault.
One thing strange I found ,it says as soon as I will connect it,I will get auto play promt which I did not,I had to download all drivers from site. Does it means I got faulty product, it registered fine on site, I still have around a week left on my refund timmer.
No Hardware Connected
No matter how many times I reinstall the softwares and drivers, it says "No Hardware Connected" on the Focusrite Control. I have the Scarlett 6i6 and everytime I reinstall it there are issues with the drivers it installs too, but issue being there is only one thing that it tells me to install from the site so what am I to do.

Which operating system are you using?
You can try going to Services in windows and looking for the Focusrite Control Server. You can quit this to restart it which may help the device to be discovered.
I can advise further once I know more.
I am on a 64-bit Windows 10.
I think I fixed it yesterday before receiving your reply, I reinstalled the software many times and i restarted my computer many times but yesterday what seemed to fix it was; Leaving the interface unplugged from the computer, I installed the Focusrite Control Software and followed the prompts, when it says to restart click restart later, then connect the usb device, then restart. That seemed to have worked for me.

Hi. I have problems with my Scarlett 18i20, becasue when I launch Focusrite Control, it says “Hardware no connected”. I wrote to Focusrite support, but they didn’t give me the solution. My macbook (13” late 2011) detect the interface, and even more, it works with Garageband without problems, but with Focusrite Control doesn’t. At the first tiem I installed the software, High Sierra asked me to allow new hardware. After that I uninstalled the software and reinstalled, but High Sierra didn’t ask me again to allow. why? How can I uninstall and delete everything about this software? Anybody has or had the same problem? I‘m thinking in buying Logic Pro, but if it doesn’t work I’m going to buy another software in windows plarform where Focusrite Control works without problems. I hope not to do. I don’t like windows. Thanks in advance.
