As I find out only one solution is to dissmis all CRAFTED ROBOTS AND ROBOT COMPANIONS from your settlement. I had 3 robots crafted in my settlement and my fps dropped from 60 (without vsinc I have 150), to terrible 30. AND BECAUSE OF JUST 3 robots.
*I need to mention I run game on GTX960 OC 2GB.

And after I got rid of robots (I sent eatch other to different far settlements) my game performance got magicaly fixed. I think it can be CPU issue because robots have multiple parts and processor need to handle them what is different from common, non DLC robots. Right now I have one robot as my companion what have good enough performance and my game works well :)

hypothesis:
Every CRAFTED robot gives some challenge for your PC and have pretty negative effect on performnace.

Proof:
The more robots you have near you, the lover is the FPS.

Solvement:
Reduce number of robots and robot companions.

Additional information:
I find out that sentries cause heavier FPS drop and also red glowing setries/assault drones heads. I have actualy no idea why, but building headless or non sentry/assault type head sentry given some more extra fps. So far it's just my speculation.

Also you must remove all mods (if you have any) what are related to light shadow casting because robot shadows cause extremely heavy fps drop.

Fallout 4 - High Resolution Texture Pack"

2016 в 22:57 How do I disable Automatron? I don't want to play it right now but I don't see any way to enable/disable it (though a single click in the library uninstalls the entire thing). Do I have to use NMM for this? 21 мар. 2016 в 23:00 21 мар. 2016 в 23:00 A quest starts this DLC. Can't you just ignore it for now until whenever you decide it's "time"? 21 мар. 2016 в 23:00 21 мар. 2016 в 23:12

Right click the game, select Properties.

Go to DLC - uncheck the DLC box.

Uninstalled/disabled for now.

Been a feature for quite a while now.

21 мар. 2016 в 23:39

Yes, I can uncheck the box, but it literally uninstalls the entire DLC. It's a very large chunk of data so I'd rather not download it all again.

I tried NMM and the DLC shows itself as unchecked but it still plays anyway.
The DLC does not appear in plugins.txt.
The DLC file names do appear in loadorder.txt and DLCList.txt.
Modifying those files to remove DLCRobot.esm and the game will add the DLC back in anyway.

So Fallout 4 has changed how it handles DLCs and mods I think compared to their earlier games. You have to play the DLC if it's been installed, period. Until the fix the game anyway. I'll try copying it out of the way and then uninstalling.

As for why I want to disable, it's because I don't want it there. If you can't understand that's ok you don't have to. There are multiple reasons. If someone mods they need to uninstall to make sure the mod works without the DLC. I don't like robots and don't want more of them and the game will add lots more in whether or not I ignore the quest. And it's hard to ignore the quest when you're forced to accept it and it's in your list. Etc.

Seems like you're making a problem out of nothing, You have a solution (Don't do the quest) and you simply won't do that 21 мар. 2016 в 23:49 Uncheck the box in the DLC Box when you select Fallout 4 then it will unistall it. 21 мар. 2016 в 23:50

24 мая. 2019 в 21:07 this should have been handled better. should just be able to untick the check box or something. or have the pack as a seperate zip file to download. but then bethesda would have to host it themselves. its not like they have the infrastructure set up to manage game downloads. like a game launcher or anything 24 мая. 2019 в 21:29 After unchecking, you could just delete the files from the disk yourself. Unchecking the box made Steam automatically remove the entire package from my PC, returning the 50GB of space.

Otherwise, yeah, I assume you can just delete the "DLC High Res Texture Pack.ba2" whatever it is. There's like 10 of them.

"Click on 'Support' to the right of Fallout 4" is no longer possible since Steam royally screwed up the user interface. Selecting Support from the pull-down menu takes you to a page that has NOTHING to do with the rest of the directions¹…not to mention that "permanently" in step six might not be a good idea for those contemplating buying a monitor/GPU that could benefit.

1. Open your Steam library.
2. Select this game.
3. Go to DLC pane (all owned DLCs are not visible there until you click on [in my case] "Manage My 8 DLC."
4. Scroll down in the list of installed DLCs and UNCHECK the entry for the high-resolution texture pack.

I played with the HD Texture DLCs since it came out. Recently I ditched it (reinstalling entire game) simply because I think it causes too many conflicts with newer cards.

After removing it I can not even tell the difference.

5 дек. 2020 в 1:26 I downloaded it and see the review and i cancel it. but the next day why i feel my fallout 4 laggy without doing anything and any diffrence. And i try to instal texture optimization and i see in my folder, theres 58gb of dlc texture files. Im actually done. i left my laptop for 1 night and wasted 55gb of internet data for laggier and without any changes. I rly hate this. i wish i could just give minus star. 15 дек. 2020 в 17:50 Truth is, the hi-res pack is only good for displays offering resolutions in excess of the now-industry-standard 1920•1080; only players with monitors rendering at greater resolutions than that should consider using it. If your native resolution is 1920•1080, you're not getting better visual results; all you are doing is creating greater processing demand and decreasing performance. resulting in longer load times, stutters, and freezes. 27 дек. 2020 в 21:29 How to "Uninstall" the HD Texture Pack for Fallout 4

That's it, I hope I've helped!

This is indeed great help. But All I did was untick the DLC, shut Steam and reopen it. Then, the 50GB were back for me!
