30 авг. 2017 в 9:371. Uninstall Hearts of Iron IV, if it isn't already uninstalled.
2. Navigate to C:\Programs Files(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Hearts of Iron IV and delete the entire folder.
3. Navigate to C:\Users\YourUserName\My Documents\Paradox Interactive and delete the entire Hearts of Iron IV folder (this will result in you losing all saved games for Hearts of iron IV, plus other data associated with the game).
If you want to keep your currently downloaded games installed and all save games for every game you've played, drag your userdata and steamapps folder onto the desktop and then reinsert them after a clean installation has occurred.
5. Reboot, reinstall Steam and reinstall Hearts of Iron IV (don't forget to put your userdata and steamapps folders back when the installation is done).

If the game still doesn't work:
1. Update your graphics card drivers to the latest version from the official website (either NVIDIA or AMD), NOT through control panel.
If the problem persists:
2. Try reverting to an older version of graphics card drivers (so by this I mean the version before your current one, or two versions before the updated one).
If the issue isn't fixed, go to the next step:
3. Re-seat your graphics card. This requires you to open the system unit and ground yourself so static electricty doesn't destroy the motherboard or anything else.
To ground yourself run your hands along the metal chasis of the system unit, or use an anti-static wrist strap. Continue to do this regularly.
Now, carefully remove your graphics card from the pci-e slot and remove the plug connecting the graphics card to your monitor.
Clean the gold chips on the graphics card at the bottom which connect to the pci-e slot with a rubber, this will improve its connectivity.
Then reinsert the graphics card into the pci-e slot and re-plug it to the monitor.
4. Re-seat your RAM.
Again, ground yourself and remove the RAM from their respective slots, cleaning the gold chips at the bottom with a rubber. Then, reinsert them into the slots.

Please let us know how you were able to fix the problem afterwards.

So I'd assume that you are trying to play the game on a new computer or simply removed that directory manually hoping that it might help. May this as it be, that there's nothing in that directory shows that there is a problem. But it's only a symptome of your problem, not the cause.

У меня при запуске пишет "failed to create a graphics device exiting" до этого патча все нормально работало. дрова переставил директ переставил что делать без понятия кто поможет? Пиратка сборка со стратегиума.
ну качал со стратегиума у всех работает один я такой уникальный?
Все делал, не помагает ничего до этого 1.3 все отлично работало.
в общем не знаю что помогло. снес все визул с ++ поставил по новой мнес директы поставил по новой. 2 раза переустанавливал игру. 3 раза сносил дрова на обе видюхи(ноут встроеная и нвидио) в итоге после третьей переустановки дров и очередной перезагрузки мы запустились. давно я так с бубном не танцевал думал уже винду сносить.
Андрей, проблема в двух видюхах. Надо было в принудиловку выставить нвидию
