I am running:
Operating System: Windows 10 64-bit
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660
Processor: Intel Core i7-2700K CPU @ 3.50GHz
RAM: 24.0GB
Every time I try running the game I get an error that says:
"ERROR OUT OF TABLE RANGE - Disk error"
I have tried finding solutions online for the problem myself but nothing has worked. I have tried compatibility mode with Windows XP, Vista, 7, and 8 settings but none of them worked. I've also tried all these options while running as "Administrator."
I have tried going into: System/Advanced System Settings/Advanced Tab/Performance Settings/Data Execution Prevention and changing the setting to "Turn on DEP for all programs except those I select" and then adding both the "tru.exe" and "testapp.exe" program files to the list. This solution seems to work for a lot of people online but didn't do anything for me.
I have also, of course, tried uninstalling, reinstalling, and verifying the game cache. I have even tried installing the game on different hard drives. These too were all fruitless endeavors.
Please tell me what else I can try so that I may play this game!

Some people have said changing resolutions has helped them. Give that a go if you haven't. Otherwise seems like a really strange bug, sorry mate.

Like changing my entire screen resolution or changing the game's resolution? Because if I am changing the games resolution then that is impossible since I can't even get to the load screen. 27 ноя. 2015 в 7:18 Same thing. In both TR Legend and Anniversary. The value is basically Frequency + Height + Width in hex
For example the value fo 1920x1080@60Hz is build like this:
60 Hz (60 = 3c in hex)
1080 (1080 = 438 in hex)
1920 (1920 = 780 in hex)
=> 3c438780

Crystal Dynamics isn't an available folder for me for some reason.

Do you have the game installed on an external drive ?
Did you upgrade to 10 from another os or is it a fresh install?
Have you reinstalled steam using windows 10?,and never rely on wifi to game or download use wired ethernet cable cat5e or cat6.

16 окт. 2014 в 23:58I'm posting this here, as I yesterday had the same error message for ALL Tomb Raider games after AoD (bought the entire package these days, mid-week madness offer).
THIS FIX IS FOR YOU, IF YOU HAVE YOUR STEAM FOLDER ON AN EXTERNAL HARDD!RIVE
This is what did the trick for me - nothing else (no "xp compatibility mode", no "run as admin", none of all the other fixes discussed here and in various other TR forums).
Since my games are on external HD, this solution here assumes you are running the game from a drive other than your C:\ drive (i.e. an external HD like mine). I think it has something to do with the partitioning or the drive lettering.
SteamMover will create a dynamic link that Steam will recognize. All you have to do then is run the game.
I had tried just about every fix in the book and found this solution while searching the net yesterday. It has worked for all Tomb Raider games after AoD (until AoD, this fix is not required, and the game will launch from my external HD without any issues). It thus should be considered a viable option if you're having similar problems with other games.

- verify game integrity
- run as admin
- runs in compatibility mode
- update all drivers
- reinstall game
hopefully one of those will help
None of this worked.
Tried SteamMover, which, for whatever reason, works for any game except this one. It opens the command prompt, does a few lines, and just stops, eventually resulting in an error after a few minutes.
For the record, my specs are definitely up to par (don't want to post it all, but I've played more taxing games than this just fine, and I've also gotten Tomb Raider: Anniversary to work, which didn't have this problem).

зайди на сохроненную папку там и зайди у меня лично работает
ещё может помочь откройте корневую папку с игрой и запустите игру из папки, мне помогло
У меня игра запускается, но через пять минут компьютер сам отключается и запускается . Приходится каждый пять минут останавливать игру и делать паузу на 2-5 минут . Запускала и от имени администратора, и с из папки . Игра установилась на диск С

to Ritka: вбей ошибку в гугл (ты не первая, у кого она появилась) может найдешь там какое решение.. мне про какой-то патч информация попалась, но достаточно скудная - "Надо патч новейший установить, он доступен в оригинальном продукте, на отдельно диске, гда скачать не знаю. "
добавлено: если я не ничего путаю, то настройки в энни можно сделать до запуска игры? попробуй поставить меньшее разрешение, и вообще понизить графические..

Вот что у меня - при нажатии на кнопку "error. " появляются подробные сведения:
2. В папке были big-файлы? (bigfile000, bigfile 001 и т.п.) ? Вообще, они у тебя лежат на месте, там же где и tra.exe или нет? Может проблема совсем не в этом..
