There are a variety of consumables in the world of Edge of Eternity.
Some can be used in battle, others in crafting recipes.
They can be found inside chests, by mining or harvesting in the environment, after defeating enemies, or by buying them from merchants.
Crystal [ ]
5 crystals can be merged to create a new crystal, that can be of a different quality, color, or contain a different spell.
This way, it's possible to obtain a crystal that cannot be buy or find in a chest otherwise.

The following consumables can be obtain by mining rocks and shiny rocks.
Harvest [ ]
Tree bark [ ]
The following consumables can be obtain by harvesting tree barks.
Vegetation [ ]
The following items can be obtain by harvesting vegetation
Fight [ ]
Fight with monsters [ ]
The following consumables can be obtain after a fight with monsters.
Fight with technobandits [ ]

17 июн в 7:16 Tying end game crafting to early game (via things like catalyst stones) is really sapping my enjoyment of this gameWhy do I have to go through the process of creating crafting materials from rare drops from enemies 20 levels lower than me to get enough to be able to make an item or two?
The catalyst stones in particular are a joke. I have spent the last hour fighting bastions for them and have gotten about 10, which will be enough for to make one, maybe 2 items, Will still need a ton more to make all the stuff I want.
I just dont understand. This isnt an MMO, dont treat crafting like it.

I do second though the suggestion about the stones. I'm in Chapter 5 and those things are as rare as can be and are often the only thing holding me up from crafting. One suggestion for balance is things that a player has to have to progress needs to not be RNG based at all. Otherwise the game turns into the trope pray to the RNGGoodess (see Tvtropes if unsure of what that is).
So yes this means you may need to make them 100% drops from battles (maybe even some plot battles that you can't avoid) and/or sell some in town too. Same with crystals too BTW.

Crafting
Crafting is used to create a new item as specified by a crafting recipe. A recipe will list the consumables needed, that will be consumed in the crafting action. Ingredients will show in red if the player doesn’t have the required ingredients.
Craft recipes can be purchased from merchants, in Herelsor in particular.
Craft menu can always be accessed from the main menu.
Reagent in craft [ ]
The following consumables can be obtain after a fight.
They are reagent and can be used in crafting to add to the stats and increase the odds of creating a better product.
