I believe that game should be developed by professionals. Ok, I agree that some games just REQUIRE mods like Skyrim (challengeless crap without Requiem). As about DOS2. This game contains broken role playing system and it can't be fixed with any mods. Also game is still buggy like hell, do not want more bugs with mods.

No big mod fan for personal use myself, but there are some pretty good ones available for this game. And for GM mode they simply are essential.
And indeed, the data dlc is required if you install the "editor".

btw, quite a few modders are as profesional as professionals, and in this case modders for this game are getting live support from eachother and Larian staff round the clock at discord..
Can't thank you guys enough.

I would like to chip in and add something.

As Heinz234 pointed out, some modders are pros, in fact, in a few cases, the work that the modder has done is so good, they go on to become devs for game studios.

Grim Dawn has a dev called Zantai, before he joined the dev team, he was a modder for starcraft 2,

another modder (maybe someone can correct me?) but for black mesa, a dev released surface tension uncut. but I can't remember if he was a dev for the group already, or was added after the surface tension uncut maps were released? I'm pretty sure he was added to the team because of his work.

Those are two examples, but there are a few others.

Also another great mod I would mention is, NAM (network addon mod) for Sim city 4. in some cases, without mods Sim City 4 would be a lot harder game to play, as the road AI is / was just horrible. but NAM changes that. in fact, it fixes the game instead of breaking it.

Granted that mods can't always fix games, but they can enahnce them, like skyrim. but then again, all of the TES games are broken in one way or another. broken quests, and more. only mods really help to make all the games playable. and even the enahced version of skyyrim was released in a bad state, and all the bugs from the original version wasn't fixed and new bugs were added on top.

In truth, mods can extend the life of games, then games without mods. especailly if the game had /s problems that original devs didn't fix.

So don't dismiss mods, even for this game. some really helps to enhance it. Granted that some might not be able to fix everyhthing, that is true, but if you not taken a look in the mods list, then perhaps you should, you might be surprised.

The game being developed by professionals does not mean that others can't add content to the game after development has ended for the game. dismissing mods simply because you don't think of mod authors as professional insults the hard work and efforts put in by those "not" professionals. Did you know that there is a mod for Skyrim that was SO good that people demanded it become a stand alone game, and now it is, it's called the Forgotten City. I haven't even played the original mod because I never got around to it, but even if I haven't played it, I still want to get the stand alone game. Not only that, but the WC3 mod DOTA became such a standout modded map that League of Legends became a thing, and that game was developed by part of the team that made the original DOTA while the rest of the DOTA team went onto make DOTA 2. You dismiss mods like they're trash but really you're just allowing yourself to miss out on great additional content that isn't mandatory by any means but enhances what's already there.

Do I believe that game developers should be required to fix what they left broken? yes, Do I agree that those broken parts of the game shouldn't be left to the community to fix? Yes. Do I think that those who do fix the broken parts of the game with mods are not worthy of my attention? hell no, they deserve my attention and support BECAUSE they were willing and able to do what the game devs were not. Doubly so because of people like you who clearly have no respect for the modding community.

The Divinity Engine

savawerty

sheikan
текстуры лежат в Textures.pak.
Open File
Extract to.

Divinity: Original Sin 2 "Divinity Engine 2 v9 (Редактор файлов)"

Data.
