Прямой меч с очень длинным клинком. Один из немногих великих двуручных мечей. Легко догадаться, что держать цвайхендер нужно обеими руками. Его вес так велик, что владелец меча должен быть очень силен.

Zweihander is a weapon in Dark Souls 2.
An ultra greatsword, the heaviest of weapons.
As the name suggests, the Zweihander is held with two hands, but its weight is such that even wielding it in this manner requires strength worthy of the blade.

DARK SOULS II - ORIGINAL
- Treasure in the Iron Keep: When you get to the Smelter Demon boss fog, turn around and run straight (towards the same direction as the Dull Ember), jump over a small gap and continue to the iron chest at the end. The chest contains the Zweihander.
- Common drop from Ducal Spider in Brightstone Cove Tseldora.
SCHOLAR OF THE FIRST SIN EDITION
- At the same relative area as before, but now you have to jump at the broken iron staircase at your right (the Dull EmberWAS there before. ) and ascend the ladder inside. There is a iron chest at the top with the weapon.
- Common drop from Ducal Spider in Brightstone Cove Tseldora.
Hints and Tips:
- Upgraded with regular Titanite to +10
- Good for hitting large groups of enemies and hard hits when needed.
- The 2-Handed thrust attack IS launch-capable, and will throw humanoid enemies a few feet and knock them down, if it doesn't kill them outright.
- Due to it's incredibly long range and large arcing sweeps with low stat requirements, an infused Zweihander with the proper weapon buff (Fire Infusion would mean getting Pyromancy Flame and Fire Weapon), in the right hands makes it an incredibly versatile weapon for PVP. On Base stats (24 Strength and 12 Dex), with a +10 Fire Zweihander and Fire Weapon. It makes it an incredibly effective weapon for someone who doesn't want to spend too many points into Strength or Dex, allowing them to pump all their points into other stats while still retaining Ultra-Greatsword Damage and DPS.
- At Normal +10 with 40 Strength and 40 Dexterity the Zweihander has an Attack Rating of 472 (360+112).
- One of the two lightest Ultra Greatswords, the others being Drakewing Ultra Greatsword.
- The Zweihander has a respectable stability and physical-block-percentage for a weapon (as opposed to a shield), making it viable for defensive use when two-handing.
- The 2-handed "golf swings" are susceptible to parrying.
- It can push people off a platform and granting an insta-kill
- Its range is perfect for PVE and PVP

Parameter Bonus: Strength, Dexterity,Magic, Fire, Lightning and Dark bonuses - The scaling multiplier applied to the [Attack: stat]. Scaling quality is from highest to lowest as follows: S/A/B/C/D/E.
The higher the player's [Str, Dex, Mag, Fire, Light] stat, the higher the [Attack Bonus: Stat] is (found on the player status screen). The higher the scaling letter, the higher the percent multiplier applied to the [Attack: Stat].
This resulting bonus damage is added to the base physical damage of the weapon and is shown in the equipment screen in blue numbers as a "+ X".
Durability: The weapon's HP, when the durability hits 0, the effectiveness of its attacks become weakened to the point of almost uselessness. When an items durability is low, a message will come up saying "Weapon At Risk!" at this point the weapon does not perform at it's best.
Weight: How much the item weights when equipped.
Stability: How well the player keeps stance after being hit
Attack Type: Defines what kind of swing set the weapon has.

pretty low damage for a ugs ( loses by about 80 damage to pursuer's on a 40/20), but is lighter and has a moveset that is a **** ton better. horizontal sweeps for 1h/2h r1, and a nasty poke for its 2h r2 ( they can kinda combo too)

you gotta love how it's mentioned as incredibly heavy even while two-handing yet it's actual weight is that of a medium armor
very good and adaptable though, R1 sweeps for crowd control then thrusting R2 for range and damage on a single target

its such a shame, that there isnt any lore behind some item descriptions. All it reads is "iTs prEtTy hEavY". Same goes for the Steel Armor in ds1.

This sword is a favorite because of its high damage output, low weight, and great animations. I would venture to say that this is THE BEST PVE WEAPON IN THE GAME. This thing with raw, lightning, fire, or even dark infusion should easily pull around 500-700 damage. By far the greatest part of this weapon is its variety of animations and hitboxes. It has a VERY VERSATILE combination of animations, great for PVP and PVE. . -The large sweeping light attack is extremely useful for clearing trash mobs, and staggers most of them so that you can safely combo 3 together for a multiple kills. It is also very good at catching people that roll to your side, or behind you, if you react moderately. . -Zweihander also features an extremely potent 2H power attack; a long stab with an additional hitbox generated on the right side. This attack will usually have a knockdown effect. The pure range of this move, coupled with the fact that it has a knockback effect, is amazing. . -With all of these strengths it should be noted that the sprint attack is pretty slow and clunky.

note: I DO NOT currently have either of the rings required for a standard zwei build.

Yeah I one handed it through Blighttown until my Dark Souls veteran friend informed me of this lol.
It plays very differently from the Balder Swag Sword. I would know, I did the same thing: BSS first playthrough, Zweihander second.
Actually useful advice and not just GiantDad memes:
Range - The Zwei actually has pretty decent range. Generally you want to smack enemies as they are coming into range, killing them, staggering them, or flat out pancaking them before they can hit you.

- Благодаря сочетанию хорошего урона, малого (для огромного меча) веса и удачного мувсета с не парируемыми атаками хорошо показывает себя в PvP.
- Весьма эффективно работает старое кольцо со львом - силовая двуручная атака является выпадом и сама по себе наносит много урона, а с кольцом повреждения могут быть огромными.

Dark Souls 2: Топовый урон
начнем с того, что в дс2 вообще лучше не играть. Я как эксперт настоятельно рекомендую поступить именно таким образом.
А закончу тем, что берешь любой грейдсворд или дубину и машешь этой елдой нанося 500+ урона любому боссу.
Если скорость нанесения важна - бери Рикардову Рапиру +10, качай до 50 декс, одевай кольцо клинков и старое кольцо со львом. В пве тычки будут залетать от 400 до 800, смотря кого бьешь
С кольцом льва вообще любое колющее оружие наносит дикий урон. Помню как сильными атаками под бафом "магическое оружие" обычным, стартовым кинжалом мага наносил 400 урона по древнему дракону
Местонахождение
- Достаточно редко выпадает из паразитных пауков в Бухте Брайтстоун-Тселдора.
- Если повернуть в обратную сторону от белого тумана ведущего к демону из плавильни, пройти немного вперёд и перепрыгнуть на место, где ранее лежал Тусклый уголь. Далее поднимаетесь наверх, и открываете сундук.
- Достаточно редко выпадает из паразитных пауков в Бухте Брайтстоун-Тселдора.
- Если повернуть в обратную сторону от белого тумана ведущего к демону из плавильни, пройти немного вперёд и перепрыгнуть через пропасть, то вы увидите сундук, в котором находится этот меч.
