The game's fantastic, but seriously? One of the most iconic mechs in BT, and conspicuously absent.

And let's not forget its big brother, Axman.

I found two Arm mods.+60 Melee Damage. Gonna create my own hatchetman.

I've got my mech up to 290 Melee and 160 Stability damage right now. It's a Mike Tyson Punch from hell that will totally wreck medium and heavies with one punch.

30 мая. 2018 в 20:56 I suppose you could take an existing 45 chassis definition, replicate it, rename it, perhaps tweak for speed and initial tonnage for engine size, and assume that the hatchet is permanently attached, so increment the initial tonnage by 3 and subtract three critical spaces from one of the arms, and add +45 or so to melee damage (IIRC, scaling by 5x) and a -1 MeleeToHitModifier for slightly better accuracy. You'd have to reuse an existing model unless you went as far as making your own, though. 30 мая. 2018 в 20:58

The Hatchetman was garbage. At 45 tons, it could only do a maximum of 9 damage to the head with that blade, causing no internal structure damage and no chance for a kill.

The Axman, on the other hand, could one-shot any mech one out of six times, with thirteen points of damage to any 12-point head, and cause piloting skill rolls two thirds of the time with 20+ points of damage all the way in.

It was a real assassin in the hands of a skilled pilot, capable of knocking down enemy mechs from range and jumping int to finish them off from unexpected angles.

The Hatchetman could, at best, couse nine points of head damage, 1/6th of the time. It was like it was designed to suck. Just enough damage to remove armor, but not enough for a critical hit. And it was no faster than the Axman, but carried much lighter armor. That sort of mech is just asking to get cored, as it will be easy to remove it before it does any truly lethal damage.

I just got one from collecting parts. It has a hatchet weapon permanently equipped. Between its base melee stat and its hatchet melee stat, the mech's melee attack does 110 damage. It doesn't have any support weapon points, so no small lasers or whatever. It has 2 laser points and 1 ballistic point.

If you equip mods that increase its melee damage, it could probably 1 shot most mech parts. Sadly there doesn't seem to be control over which part the melee attack hits, or I haven't figured out to control it.

You might want to get that skill that lets you attack and then move. or I think that's what the skill does. I'm pretty sure the previous skill in that line gives you evasion and then entrenched when you use move. However the description says it doesn't work when moving to do a melee attack. However if you melee and then move with that ability I mentioned, it might work then. I haven't tried it.

Edit: I just tried to set mine up for pure melee and it gave me a red warning saying the mech needs at least 1 ranged weapon. So apparently you gotta at least put a medium laser on it.

также можно насобирать за flashpoint Head Hunting там на выбор будет вытащить двойный охадители + медиум пульс лазар либо получить гаусовку, Также можно получить еще и лутом если выпи

Hello all I was wondering if anyone could tell me find a place I can either buy the salvage for hatchet man or were they spawn. Had flashpoint since release and completed the flashpoint to make them spawn (apparently) but never ever seen one in a single battle despite multiple careers plays.

I have found a bunch in the northern 3 territories.

RNJesus hates you bro. I have personally encountered them in the TC, as well as the Periphery. Pretty sure they are not limited to any one faction, and you are just drawing the short straw.

I found some on a 3 Skull mission south of the Liao border. Not home, so I can’t load up to verify the planet, but it is near New Roland. The 3X is better than the stock one, IMO. Good luck!

As far as I know they just show randomly like any other mech once you complete the flashpoint. Just make sure you are hitting 2 skull missions to ensure medium mechs are in the OpFor and keep in mind there are two variants you can pick up (one with more energy points and one with more support points being the main difference I think).
