Version v1.4.5 This addon allows to easily edit STALKER config files. Adds visualization of certain properties and a simple editor for most of the common properties that you would want to modify. A tutorial .pdf is included. If you use this for any addon creation, please leave some credits, so that it gets more reach.

This tool allows to easily edit .ltx configs for Anomaly. In current version, you can edit item properties and crafting, traders and creatures. A .pdf instruction on how to use is added in the package.

  • Added "Set all to 0", "Set all to 1" and "Reset to default" to trading table
  • Another fix in trading, this is getting boring

  • Fixed an error, where loading gamedata would screw up item categories making filters unusable
    • The categories are now read directly from the "trade_presets.ltx" file, so if you add items to the game make sure to add them to a proper category in the file!
    • Also, when filtering items, be careful when selecting the categories like "trasher" and such, as they may make the app unresponsive for a while (they load a shitton of items)

      1. Sorry for the large size, the library that reads the .dds files to get icons weighs a lot.

      so maybe u can use just some png or jpg instead dds? really heavy-veight software as for text editor.

      I will try to do it, however it is not C-based but python-based, so the distribution includes all necessary python interpreters and libraries; With my other projects I managed to get down to

      40MB, but that's the lowest I can get.
      Edit: I looked into it, and I can actually lower the size. Thanks for the idea, slimmer version should be available later today

      usable for everyone, ltx configs can be such a mess sometimes, for example there are helm_resp, helm_respirator, helm_respirator_old and u take a guess which one is which without opening game or icons ;]

      I just updated the editor and lowered its size, however it will load pre-defined icons. If you added new items, you must convert the appropriate .dds files to .jpg files and move them to the "pics" folder

      doesn't work with gamedata and Boomsticks and Sharpsticks.

      It must get info on items from unpacked files, because of the dependencies. If you want to modify another addon, you should unpack the databases and then copy the contents of the gamedata folder there. I will check it, but it should work

      I just updated the editor to be able to load other gamedata files. Check out the update.

      thanks for this amazing editor! Quick question, you listed hit_power as recoil power for weapons and ammo. Is there a reason for this? is this param not governing damage rather than recoil (or both?)

      From what i gathered, this is the recoil and not damage, but I might be wrong. I will look more into this.

      It should work regardless of the update, the formatting does not change. I am testing it on 1.5, so it should be fine

      I'm not sure what you mean. If they did not mess up the dependencies or file formatting, it should work properly.

      Yes, it is in python. Why? Because that's the language I'm most familiar with, and it has Qt window control library. I probably could have done it in C or C++, but it would have taken much more time and many, many more curse words than currently.

      edit: also, i assume the "disassembling" section is what i will get if a disassemble the item i am editing. When i change the amount i will get and them click on another item to edit and go back, the amount i edited will go back to the default, and in some items i can't edit the amount at all.

      As for why you can't edit some disassembling sections: for items that can be repaired, you cannot change the amount of items, since the items that are in the "disassembly" entry, are the ones that you can swap. I removed the possibility to change that, as I am not sure how the game will react to this kind of change.
      As for the bug, I will look into it now.

      I checked what would happen if you increased the number of disassembly parts for items and it seems to work just fine, I will add an option to remove that restriction in later releases.

      Why are the "Equipment" and "Armor" sections with the same content?

      Hold on, I am finishing up a small upgrade, and will further develop this to include trading, basic character changes and some options for bulk changes. Keep your eyes open, this should get updated rather frequently during this month

      Hello! I was using the crafting recipes for ammo and found that the old or bad versions of the ammo are not available. This happens by just following the steps in loading the unpacked folder like normal. I thought it was an issue with the pics folder but upon inspection the old ammos and bad ammos are on the pictures so its not that. This was happening with the previous versions of the config editor as well.

      Additionally, when I attempt to load a gamedata folder the program stops, buffers, then crashes.
      I followed the steps, loading the dbs first then the gamedata and it just crashes.

      Program also crashes similarly when I attempt to click on any of the unused items.
      What could I be doing wrong?

      Which version of the editor do you have? What do you mean by "not available"? Do they not show in the component loading window, or are they completely unavailable in the entire editor? Could you send some pictures?
      As to the crashing with gamedata, what kind of other addon were you using? Is it a small or a large one? If it is possible could you upload your gamedata somewhere so I can test this? Are you sure that you unpacked all of the files?

      Introducing Anomaly Mod Configuration Menu(MCM). A centralized place for mods to put their configuration options. 100% reverse compatible. Updating is always recommended. UPDATE 1_4 25MAY21 adds support for save game specific saving of options.       Introducing Anomaly Mod Configuration Menu(MCM). A centralized place for mods to put their configuration options.

      By itself MCM does nothing. MCM provides a place for other mods/addons to display a settings UI.

      Bugs with MCM or crashes with ui_mcm.script in the log are most likely caused by one of the mods/addons using MCM and should be reported to that mod/addon's author.

      Addons using MCM can be identified by having a script with a name ending in mcm.script

      The ui_mcm.script has a detailed tutorial on how to set up an options UI using MCM.

      By it self nothing.

      when installed with another mod that uses it, MCM provides that mod with a place to put a options screen, a configuration menu if you will. . for mods. .. a Mod Configuration Menu.

      I just installed it, saw that artifax' Weapon Parts Overhaul supports this. It looks great and I am planning to have Mad Mags use it too.

      Update. With help from Pepsifan04 who added lots of QoL enhancements to Mad Mags, this MCM makes 100% sense if you want to have a configurable addon.

      First of, thank you for this amazing addon. I've been using it pretty heavily in one of my addons and it's a godsend. That said, I believe I've found a bug: Adding more than two menus to a collection causes the game to crash. I'm fairly certain this isn't just me being dumb, as I've reproduced the bug in a minimal setup, using the "example_collection" scripts from ui_mcm.script.

      EDIT: I forgot to mention: Version of MCM used was 1.3. No other addons enabled, except the test setup.

      I've tested it declaring 3 collections with 3 menus each, and that worked. The lines I changed are all commented with "dph patch", so you can take a look yourself.

      i think your solution would not work if the mods adding to the collection were not all in a sequence, if for instance another script fell between them alphabetically that did not use that collection.

      I can't say much, i obviously only tested with two scripts that were in sequence back in february.

      i will test both fixes more thoroughly and get an update out so that you can publish your collection of mods with no issues.

      I've used a 3 letter prefix ("SMR") for all MCM scripts in the collection, so I probably wouldn't have ever noticed. Also, I haven't seen any other addon use the collection feature, which is probably why no one found this earlier yet too.

      Guess I made a similar mistake with my test setup, or else I would've caught the bug in my "fix".

      EDIT: I've been using your fix (j instead of i), and been developing with it enabled. Mostly one collection with five menus, but I also added another MCM script in the middle and such to test a bit. It works great and I haven't had a single bug so far.

      Alongside Solarint's sounds mod, BAS, and Trader's Overhaul, this is rising to become one of those ubiquitous addons for Anomaly, that maybe should be in the game's core code, eventually.

      This is sort of a library other mods use to display settings or configuration options. It provides a menu for this on the main menu screen. It provides other Mods a Configuration Menu. :)

      Как включить спавнер в Сталкер Anomaly 1.5.1


      Во первых скачать ничего не надо спавнер уже у вас в игре он просто не включён следуйте инструкции ниже и всё поймёте!
      Для включения спавн-меню и повелителя зоны необходимо выполнить следующие действия:
      1. После запуска игры с помощью файла AnomalyLauncher.exe, необходимо активировать режим разработчика, поставив галочку напротив пункта "Debug Mode" и зайти в игру нажав кнопку "Play S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly".


      2. Далее запускаем игру (или загружаем ранее сделанное сохранение), во время игры нажатием клавиши ESC , выходим в главное игровое меню.
      3. В главном меню, нажимаем клавишу F7 , тем самым активировав консоль и инструментарий разработчика.
      4. Для активации спавнера нажимаем клавишу 1 .
      5. В появившемся окне выбираем раздел например к броне костюмами и нажимаем левой кнопкой мыши на необходимый костюм, например экзоскелет.

      6. Далее нажимаем кнопку "Спаун", обратите внимание по умолчанию генерируемые вами предметы будут появляться в рюкзаке главного героя, однако в спавнер добавлена функция спавна предметов по точке прицела, т.е. рядом с персонажем.
      Кроме удобного спавнера, разработчики добавили множество других функций и редакторов игрового контента, например:

      Консоль переключения команд со следующими кодами:
      - God mode — Режим Бога или Повелитель Зоны (кл. G);
      - Unlimited ammo — Бесконечные патроны (кл. Y);
      - rsStatistic — Респавн статистики (кл. S);
      - Debug HUD — Редактор игрового Худа (кл. X);
      - Debug Map HUD — Отладочная карта Худа (кл. Z);
      - A-Life respawns — Респавн симуляции жизни в Зоне.

      Основной список редакторов:
      - Spawner — Спавнер для Anomaly 1.5.1;
      - Object spawner — Выбор объекта;
      - Weather editor — Редактор Погоды;
