Howdy forum,
I was playing in single player with cheats on, was building underneath my base and that apparently caused a tower with ALL MY ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ SPARE GUNS AND AMMO to collapse, and I lost all of my spare weaponry. I could use cheats to get it all back, but I want the precise stuff that I had before. Is there a way to rollback the save file to a specific point before that tower collapsed? Any help would be appreciated.

If you backed your save up then yes. If you did not, then no.

Find the savegame files. I start the game and choose to open the start menu. There is an option to open savegames. I copy and paste them in another folder on my desktop. Most likely another way to do so, but I prefer doing it manually and choosing where it all goes :) Goodluck

Roar, do you have a file path for reference? I can't find any save files like what you describe.

1. If you're able to click play on steam, it should provide the open to just start the game or open the games launcher, click tools and opensavegame is there.
2. Failing that the file path for me is ( ThisPC > Local Disk(C:) > Users > (Name of comp/or whatever) > AppData >Roaming > 7daystodie > Saves > RandomGen
I hope that somewhat helps. (Couldn't figure out what it was called after Users because mine was just my name lol)

That's really, really strange. I can't find a file path even remotely resembling that. I do have in-game files under a different directory, but it still should be similar.
My in game files path like this: Local Disk(E:)>Steam>steamapps>common>7 Days to Die
That path is about as far as I can go. I don't see any AppData, Roaming, or Saves files. I see a folder called "Data" with some files in there, but no save files.
It seems like everyone's paths are different from mine regardless of reinstallation.

У всех может случится ситуация, в которой отключили свет или завис компьютер и сохранение в данной игре по неизвестной причине перестает работать и пропадает из меню игры.
1 Если у вас похожая ситуация,то скорее всего сохранение осталось на компьютере и находится:
Нажимаем кнопку со значком виндовс + R, там прописываем %appdata% выбираем папку Roaming идем по пути 7DaysToDie -> Saves
2 Если видите ваш мир, то можно радоваться и восстановить ваши постройки и персонажа
Для этого создаете мир с той же картой (random gen какой у вас был или navezgane) и после загрузки на новый мир, выходите из игры

Если правильно понял, то вам нужно перенести своего персонажа в другой мир.
2. В прилагаемом файле players.xml найти в строке "<player lastlogin=. " ваш ID Steam аккаунта;
3. После того как нашли строку с вашим ID Steam, чуть ниже запоминаем содержимое строки "acl - это является идентификатором пользователя в игре;
5. Отправляет созданный архив вам;
6. Заходите вместе с другим другом на новый мир;
7. Выходите из игры (оба);
8. Пересылаете другу полученный недавно архив;
9. Друг распаковывает также этот архив в папку "Player" в папке с новым миром с подтверждением на перезапись;
10. После всех танцев с бубном пробуете подключиться.
В 80% случаев профиль со старого мира переносится на новый (а может и сломаться c: )
