After losing everytime in the finals I decided to test something.
I setup two macro keys that would spam "e" at about 30 times a second. The AI would still win on the ties. I then slowed the game down and did the same and still couldn't win.
Just a heads up if anyone is going to bet money
2 сен. 2018 в 12:56Yup, it is absolutely rigged in the players favor, with draws often being very easy to win. This is even a reliable way to win fights, try to use your move that beats one of the enemies best and draws their other best.
As a completely on-topic response: 30 times a second is likely too fast for the game, especially if you slow the game down for effectively higher speeds. The game likely has a cap on how many inputs it'll accept/recognize as mashing, and any higher can mess it up. Try something like 15 or 20 per second. If you get the same result, tone it down to 10. These speeds are much closer to humanly possible, and wouild thus be much more likely to work.

The girl I was using Jennifer against rei got wrecked on all ties in the final.
Everything about the JCC is RNG.
- You don't have to button mash at turbo speed if the game decides it wants to let you win. Sometimes you could just stop button mashing after a few dozen presses and still win. If it starts resisting after it looks like you're winning, then most likely the game just decided for you to lose.
- You could probably always pick the ninja girl and still have the same chances of winning as Jennifer.
Try to avoid people who have the comeback ability if you can (here they both where in the other "pool" as in if i'm unlucky I'll encounter them in the finals.) and even if it can be RNG you have ways to increase your luck. 3 сен. 2018 в 12:39
While it is RNG-based, and there is some luck involved, there are ways to increase the odds in your favor.
Pay attention to the ticker at the bottom. You want to bet on a girl that's had something bad happen to them (even if it's an injury). Leave and come back until the girl you want to bet on has had something bad happen to them, and hopefully it's one with a high payout.
While fighting, pay attention to how often the opponent chooses a sign. If they use paper twice or three times in a row, then stick with scissors, because she has a very high chance of choosing paper at any given time. If it's relatively even, pick the sign that goes against the last sign the opponent picked. So if last time they picked scissors, choose rock.

So my strategy was to for example always use paper on Sayuri, even if she gets you down to 1/6th of a health bar I ended up winning as long as I always used paper, even if she was on full before I landed my first hit.
