The Old Man Who Cried Corruption Walkthrough
Complete Quests and Faction Missions to Earn Experience - Reach Level 12
This quest is given very early in the game and you'll probably have to level up to get there. Completing Quests and Faction Missions is the fastest way but you can reach that level in ANY way, like defeating Enemies.
(Optional) Use Your Map to Fast Travel to the Spirit Shrine
Even though it's an optional task it is recommended to activate the Spirit Shrine to come back quickly later to turn in or for future quests.
Search the Mysterious Old Man in Fisherman's Bend
Use your map or follow the mark on your compass to reach Fisherman's Bend
Talk To Jonas Alazar
Once you reached Fisherman's Bend, approach to Jonas Alazar and talk to him. Claim your rewards.
It's funny to recall- there was even a crazy old man warning us about Corruption years ago.
Hm. Reveries aside, we'll need to think carefully about how to proceed.
One truth that never changes is that the First Light settlement always needs supplies.
Anytime you fancy, visit me or the town board outside and take any task that suits you.
In the meantime, there's more you can do with these refined materials.
I am still contemplating the precise strategy we should pursue to combat the Corruption.
Some matters may be more urgent, however. There are reports of Corruption getting a hold closer to the settlement.
Let's hope that old man knows something that makes your travel worthwhile.
In the meantime, I'm still working out what's next for the settlement.
