History [ ]

Monsters created by Sith alchemy: a Sith war behemoth, a Sith war worm, and a chrysalide rancor

One of the many applications of Sith Alchemy was the art of creating nefarious toxins, such as Sith poison.

The One Sith featured Sith Alchemy heavily in their plans. Darth Maladi used Sith Alchemy in combination with Vong Shaping to create the Vongspawn virus and set off the Sith–Imperial War. In the Second Imperial Civil War Vul Isen used Sith Alchemy, aided by knowledge provided by Darth Wyyrlok, to create an aquatic form of Leviathan to hunt down the people of Dac.

Many creatures altered by Sith alchemy were able to see in complete darkness, although they could not distinguish colors.

I find your lack of sources disturbing.

This article needs to be provided with more sources and/or appearances to conform to a higher standard of article quality.

Is this mission soloable? I have a 65 lightning sorc with 216 gear and a lvl 17inf Khem. How difficult would this be to solo?

Assuming you know the mechanics from Dulfy:

The hard part comes from the sithspawn experiment. When he stuns and channels his heal you have to stunbreak and then immediate interrupt him - the hard part is (1) his stun/heal ability has a shorter CD than your stunbreaker and (2) his damage reduction ability gives you only a limited window to burst him down. Miss a stunbreak/interrupt and he will heal back to full. What I do is intentionally wait during the tentacle phase for stunbreaker to come off CD before killing the last tentacle. Sometimes he does two stun/heals in a row without going into the tentacle phase if you wait to long to end the previous tentacle phase, so you will need to run out of the room after getting the first stun/heal and los the second stun.

If you can beat sithspawn, lord tagriss is a pushover.

The intended mechanic is to have the boss land on the barrels that you have exposed. This causes him to be stunned for his entire down period and skip channeling the self heal.

He always lands on the last target who received his stun debuff without using a CC breaker, which will often be your companion. If he lands on your companion the barrel will not break, so controlling who he lands on is important. As a sorc you can use your cleanse on your companion to remove the stun debuff early, which will make it slightly more likely that the boss will land on you.

It has been quite a while since I completed the Republic version of these and, at the time, I didn’t have a problem finding a group for them as it was new content. Now, years later, I decided to do the Imperial versions (for the achievements) and am running into a slight problem: apparently, no one does these anymore as it’s almost impossible to find a full group for them.

I’ve seen numerous posts on the official forums requesting they be tweaked so that they can be done either solo or with another. I would like to see this as well. I foresee I’ll be stuck on these for quite a while as things stand now. Hopefully, these will be adjusted at some point but I’ve not seen any indication they will be. It’s old content, true, but it’s content nonetheless and content that can only be completed if you’re lucky enough to find a full group. Bioware, please adjust these in some way.

Have you tried asking in fleet chat, /allies chat, and on the Star Forge discord?

I’ve asked on the fleet but didn’t get any replies. I’ll try the Star Forge Discord as well.

What server are you on?

Star Forge but I am seldom on during peak hours as I work evenings. Which creates additional problems as I usually don’t log on until 11:30 PM.

There are a lot of generic evil choices in swtor, especially for the force classes - yet there are some excellent ones.

For me the best one was as a smuggler on Nar Shaddaa, where you found a corrupted imperial scientist guilty of murder, inserting spies into the republic by capturing republic officers on leave and graft the skin/features on to imperial agents, torture and other stuff and let him be for credits/make him work for the republic instead, but also leave an animal activist in her cage for further torture.
