The Void Ore Miner is a multiblock structure added by Environmental Tech. It can create various ores and crystals using energy (FE). It comes in 6 tiers.

Содержание

Usage

When supplied with enough FE, the Void Ore Miner will periodically generate ores of various types, which will be automatically output to inventories adjacent to the Controller. This process can be sped up by placing Speed Modifiers in the appropriate slots in the structure. Specific ores can be made more likely to appear by using a colored Laser Lens, and this effect can be amplified by using Accuracy Modifiers.

The Void Ore Miner also requires its Laser Lens to have a straight view to either Bedrock or The Void in order to work. Transparent blocks such as Glass, walls, or fences may be used to provide a safe path under the structure without blocking the beam.

The stats of each tier of Void Ore Miner are given in the following table. "Minimum time per ore" is the minimum time per ore that this tier of Void Ore Miner can reach using Speed Modifiers, "Modifiers to reach max speed" is the amount of Speed Modifiers needed to reach it and "FE per ore (max speed)" and "FE/t (max speed)" are the respective values when this amount of Speed Modifiers is used. Note that adding more Speed Modifiers than this value will increase the FE per ore (and thus FE/t) without increasing the speed, thus wasting power.

Outputs

Every time the Void Ore Miner produces an ore, it is randomly pulled from a table depending on its tier. These tables can be freely configured, including their contents and the weight of each entry (entries with higher weight will be picked more often). By default, this includes a variety of ores (such as Iron, Copper or Draconium), Lonsdaleite Crystals (which gain a higher weight as the tier goes up) and all other Environmental Tech crystals depending on the tier (such as Kyronite or Ionite).

If the appropriate colored Laser Lens is used, the item will have a bonus to its weight, according to the following formula:

<\displaystyle bonusWeight=2\times <\frac <totalWeight></p>
<p>>\times 1.18^>

Environmental Tech is a mod created by ValkyrieofNight. It adds a number of expensive but powerful multiblock machines that use or generate Forge Energy, such as the Void Ore Miner and the Lightning Rod. It also adds various decorative blocks, such as Litherite or Kyronite .

The Assembler is a tool added by Environmental Tech. It is used to build some of the machines added by the mod and to find out what blocks are required to build them.

Usage

Holding down the right mouse button on a control block (e.g., a Solar Array Controller Tier 1) with the parts required in the player's inventory (in this case, 9 Solar Cells, 9 Structure Frames, and 4 Null Modifiers) will slowly build the structure.

Left-clicking on a control block will reveal what blocks are required to complete the multiblock structure.

With the in game guide removed, I did a little bit of testing to see all the material requirements for the new environmental tech structures. Energy consumption by void miners is an estimate, but should be within 20 or so.

A quick bonus I found while testing this out. Left click with the Assembler will give you the number of blocks required. A right click on a finished solar panel will you the energy produced.
