The Joy of Creation: Story Mode [ ]

General [ ]

This is one of the harder levels, as everything has to come under a steady rhythm. Each animatronic has a very certain safe area, though Ignited Freddy's seemed to me to be a bit bigger. You can not survive an attack from two animatronics at once, though you can survive one if they are close but not together. Please note that at 5 AM the room reddens, the posters become different, and the music becomes frightening. Still, do not panic.

Ignited Freddy and Ignited Foxy will bust in the room from each of the side doors, with Ignited Freddy on right and Ignited Foxy on the left, if you are facing the TV. They will look back and forth in the room, before turning and leaving. You can hide from them by hiding either directly beside the door, or on the wall corresponding to that door. Being directly in front of the door, or anywhere else in the room while they bust in will result in them killing you. To counter them, you must use the TV to pause one of them enough so that the delay in between their attacks will give you the time to hide from both.

Ignited Bonnie will appear through the main double doors in the middle of the biggest wall. He will bust in and will kill you unless you are against the wall he comes out from. However, unlike the other ones, he will only peak out for a second or so. To know when he is coming, you can check the keyhole of the double doors to see what phase he is on. Phase 0 has him not there. Phase 1 has two red eyes in the distance. Phase 2 has him standing in the middle of the room. Phase 3 has his body and arm showing in front of the keyhole. Phase 4 has his red eye peering directly into the keyhole. You can also listen for a lower howling sound to know when he changes phases. The sound can be muffled by other animatronics sounds, so you'll still need to check. In Phase 4, he will attack.

Ignited Chica appears at around 3 AM. She can only attack you while you are sitting down on the couch, and you will know she is there because of a very intense growling sound. You must simply stand up, and stay still for half a second until the growling stops. Not getting up, or looking/moving when you are up will result in her stunning you. If she attacks you at 5 AM, you will die.

Master Strategy [ ]

After you skip the call, hold down one of the animatronics until the other one is at the 2nd Light post in the hallway towards the door. This will set them into an even rhythm. Keep going back and forth between them until you hear the howling of Ignited Bonnie. On the second howl of Ignited Bonnie, decide which Animatronic will attack you right before Ignited Bonnie does. With Ignited Bonnie, you must time it so that he will attack directly after another one attacks. To deal with Ignited Chica, just get up when you hear the growl, wait a sec, then immediately sit back down once the growl stops. If you pause in the wrong order, you may screw yourself.

Living Room is the second memory in The Joy of Creation: Story Mode. In this memory, the player controls Val Cawthon and must defend against The Ignited as they search for her husband, accidentally targeting her instead.

At the end of the memory, the player receives their second newspaper.

    and Ignited Foxy are joint main antagonists; is the secondary antagonist; is the tertiary antagonist.

Appearance & Room Infrastructure [ ]

As the level name suggests, the player appears to be in a moderately-sized living room. A couch is placed in the center of the room, facing a lit fireplace. Situated above that is a flat-screen television, which the player can use to monitor the movement of Ignited Freddy and Ignited Foxy, pausing them if need be. Three doors lead to the room, one on both of the side walls and a set of double doors on the back wall; each doorway is where each of the Ignited Animatronics (aside from Ignited Chica) can appear. Three windows are placed on the left-side wall, indicating that the living room is at the front of the house; a storm appears to be raging outside.

Hey there people! It's Tyler back again! Today, I bring you to the second part of the How To Survive: The Joy of Creation Story Mode. Last episode/part (I don't know) was the Bedroom which WAS FEATURED! That's a surprise. Now, this will teach you how to beat the Living Room in the game.

You are playing as Scott's wife in the Cawthon's living room where there are three doors (one of them having a peephole) and a TV to track Freddy and Foxy's movements. You also have a pause button on the TV. You have to survive from 00 (apparently) to 6AM! When they come to you, you have nothing else to hide. It is the second easiest memory in the game.

To sit or stand up - SPACE key

Move - WASD keys

Interact with objects (TV buttons, Door Peephole, etc) - Left Click

Now that you know the keys of the game, let's go over the animatronic's mechanics!

Ignited Freddy is simple when you understand his mechanics really well (Same with Foxy and Bonnie). To know where Freddy is and how far away he is from you, on the Television, you can see where he is through his vision and how far he is. When you see Freddy is close to the door, hide on the left door through the perspective behind you.

You would want to hide in that postion so when he slams open the door, you are beside the door and he won't see you. When Freddy starts walking away, it's safe to move and go back onto the TV again. Those are the basics of Freddy.

Ignited Foxy is the exact same thing with Ignited Freddy. He is simple when you understand him. He has the same mechanics as Freddy except Foxy will come from the door the opposite side as the one Freddy comes from. You will have to check how far he is on the TV. Then, when is about to slam open the door, you will have to hide in the exact same position but on the other side of the room. When he leaves, it is once again safe to do what you need to do. Pretty much Foxy is pretty basic and similar to Freddy. (Btw, the Pause Button mechanic will have its own spot at the end because there's a lot to it).

Ignited Bonnie is once again KIND OF simple when you get to know his movements and mechanics well. Ignited Bonnie will start to move at 2am and he will approach you from the door directly behind the couch. The only thing is you don't have his perspective and how far away he is on the TV. To know how far he is by two things. First off is by constantly checking the door by looking at the peephole, or listening for 4 of his sounds. Now technically, later in the night, you won't have enough time to check the peephole because the animatronics are going to be dosil later on. That's why I'm gonna get you to listen for his sound cues instead of checking. Everytime he moves, he will make a "whale" sound. He will make that sound four times and you need to hide from him. You can hide behind the two drawers beside the door he comes from and he won't see you still. Once he leaves, it's okay to get moving again. Bonnie is more interesting than the others because of the no TV and listening mechanic.

Ignited Chica is really rare on the Living Room memory, but she can apppear. She will only spawn when you are sitting in the couch right beside you. When you hear deep growling sounds, she is there. She can appear anytime and more than once. To make her go away, stand up and don't move until the growling has stop. Then, you can go on you're way with the others. She will be bad when the others are close to attacking though, so she is kind of bad luck. If you fail to stand and don't move, she will temporary stun you for a minute.

Pause Button Mechanic (On TVs)

The Pause Button mechanic stops Freddy and Foxy from moving. You just have to hold it down with left click. It also prevents Freddy and Foxy from coming in at the exact same time which is a good thing because if that happens, the one you're not hiding from will kill you. At the start of the night after Michael's done talking and the TV isn't static anymore, pause either Freddy or Foxy until the one that isn't paused is at least halfway to you're door. Then, might as well keep the character paused until the other character is really close to the door. And then start to do the hiding thing. But if Bonnie's at his third whale sound/stage, let the closest animatronic (either Freddy or Foxy) attack and pause the other animatronic until Bonnie is at his fourth and final sound/stage before attacking. Then do the hiding sequence. Those are some things about the Pause Button.
