Crystallized iron is one of the hardest to find crystals in Roblox Islands. It can only be mined manually and there are only a few places to get it, making it hard to come by and hard to get. This guide will provide you with tips and tricks on how to get crystallized iron in Roblox Islands.
Before venturing into the unknown you can also buy an Iron Totem and a pickaxe. When you have these items you can start looking for iron ore and make your own crystallized iron farm.
Where to Find Crystallized Iron
Crystallized iron can only be obtained by mining iron nodes that usually drop two to four pieces of iron, which will have 1 out of 66 chances to drop a crystallized iron (roughly a 1.5% chance). This means that you need to mine a lot of iron nodes to be able to get at least one piece of crystallized iron.
Currently, there are only three locations in Roblox Islands that contain iron nodes:
Slime Island
This island can be accessed only through a portal that can be found on the mainland right next to the Adventurer NPC.
You need to have a weapon equipped on you. Otherwise you will not be able to enter the portal.
Once you enter the Slime Island, and after mining the iron nodes, you can travel to the other side of the island for the only portal that leads to Buffalkor Island.
Buffalkor Island
In order to walk through the portal and enter the Buffalkor Island you need to have the Buffalkor Island Key.
This key has a 7% of being dropped from dead slimes, which can be farmed on the Slime Island.
The main source of crystallized iron on the island are the Buffalkors, which are bear-like creatures that drop various types of ores after being killed.
Since only two Buffalkors can spawn on an island at a time, this is not the best spot for farming crystallized iron.
Wizard Island
In the eastern part of the Buffalkor Island there is a portal to the Wizard Island. You can enter this portal only if you have the Wizard Island Key, which is a rare drop from Buffalkors.
This island has plenty of iron and gold nodes all around, which is why it's a good idea to spend some time farming Buffalkors and teleporting to the Wziard Island.
How to Farm Crystallized Iron
If you don't want to manually search for iron nodes, you can start your own automated iron farm using an Iron Totem.
Step 1: Buy an Iron Totem
Iron Totem can be purchased from the Totems Merchant residing on the Mainland for 4,000 coins.
Once you have it in your inventory you can start producing iron nodes around it in the area of 9x9 blocks.
Of course you can buy more than one totem, if you have enough coins.
Step 2: Build a Platform
Iron Totem needs to be placed on a solid footing to be able to produce iron nodes uninterruptedly.
That's why you need to build at least a 9x9 platform made of stone blocks. You can use any kind of blocks, but stone is recommended for iron farming.
Step 3: Place the Totem on the Platform
Once your platform is ready you need to place your Iron Totem right in the center of it.
All you need to do now is wait before the totem starts spawning iron nodes all around.
Once the platform is filled with iron nodes you can start mining them with your pickaxe.
Step 4: Craft a Conveyor
This step is optional, but you can also craft a conveyor at the Workbench (Tier 3) using the following recipe:
You can place your Iron Totem next to a conveyor and it will be collecting iron ore uninterruptedly, which will save your time and energy from manual mining.

This is a pretty valuable resource because it is very rare. It's particularly hard to farm because it can only be obtained by physically mining the nodes of iron yourself. Crystallized Iron Guide
To get Crystallized Iron you just need to mine iron nodes that either spawn at the mine, Slime Island, Buffalkor Island, or from a totem at your or someone else's base. This is a very rare drop and will take a long time to farm. You need to mine a bunch of the iron veins just to get one. You won't know that an iron node has a Crystallized Iron in it until you mine it. The only way you will know if you've gotten it is to watch the bottom right of your screen where it tells you what you've collected. You can also check your inventory if you've been mining mindlessly and not paying attention because you might get one without realizing it.
The best way to get it is to just set up multiple Iron Totems on your island and just mine iron over and over until you have as much as you need.

What is Crystallized Iron Used For?
Right now there's only really one use for Crystallized Iron. You can use it at an Anvil to create an Iron War Axe. This is an upgrade to the wooden sword weapon is pretty weak. The Iron War Axe requires that you have 3x Crystallized Iron, 1x Steel Rod, and 40x Iron to create. This is a ton of iron you'll need to get, so having multiple totems will be a good way to get it!
AFK Crystallized Iron Farming
There is a faster way to farm up crystallized iron, but you'll need to have access to conveyor belts and quite a bit of coin. So, what you can do is get a bunch of Iron Totems and place them on a couple of blocks. Then you'll place some more blocks a couple blocks away from these. This will allow the iron nodes to spawn only on top of these blocks. Once you've got that, you'll need to create a conveyor belt layout that you can stand on which will move you in front of the nodes to mine. You'll also need an auto-clicker or macro to keep you mining while you go AFK. For a far better explanation, check out this video:
If you're looking to upgrade your weaponry to one of the most powerful in the game then you're going to need to know how to get the Buffalkor Crystal in Islands aka Skyblock! Where to get it isn't really a problem, however, it might take a while to actually obtain one.
Buffalkor Crystal Guide
To get a Buffalkor Crystal, you will need to kill Buffalkors and get one to drop it as loot. This is an extremely rare drop, so you might be after it for a while. I'm going to quickly run down what you should do to make this a bit easier if you really want to upgrade to the highest tier of weapon at the moment.
Before bothering with this I would try to get yourself the Iron War Axe. This is an upgrade to the Wooden Sword which is super weak and takes forever to use against a Buffalkor. You need 3 Crystallized Iron, 1 Steel Rod, and 40 Iron to craft it. A Steel Rod and a bunch of Iron isn't too difficult, although it can be time consuming if you don't have an auto-miner or totems setup. The Crystallized Iron is a bit of a pain, because you need to mine iron nodes to get it. It's similar to the crystal because it's a random drop and it's rare. So, try to mine a ton of iron and hope you get one sooner rather than later. You might be able to trade for some if you watch chat.
Roblox Islands Coverage
Once you've got your Iron War Axe, you can then go to Slime Island by purchasing a Slime Island Key. When you are there you will need to kill a bunch of Slime for a random chance to get a Buffalkor Key to drop. This drop rate isn't too bad, so you shouldn't have to do this for very long. Once you have the key, go through the Buffalkor portal to enter Buffalkor Island!
Now, you just need to slay Buffalkors over and over until the crystal drop. There's no real trick to this unfortunately, you just have to put in the effort if this is something you want to spend your time on! Make sure to bring some food because the Buffalkor hit pretty hard and you don't want to die!
Right now, you can only really craft one weapon with it, so it might not be worth bothering to get if you don't need to farm Slime or Buffalkor.
Gilded Steel Hammer
The Buffalkor Crystal is currently used to create the Gilded Steel Hammer, which is the strongest weapon in the game. You need 1 Buffalkor Crystal, 1 Gilded Steel Rod, and 40 Gold to craft it at an Anvil.
