Subject: This was a classic

I remember playing this game back then it was little hard it was basically a love letter to fans of Saw and The Simpsons and I also remember the fails especially when Patty & Selma blew cigerette smoke into Homer's face.

Homer is seen sleeping on the couch with Snowball II on him. When he hears the TV turning on, he wakes up, shocked to see Pigsaw. Homer asks Pigsaw who he is, thus the puppet says what really matters is what does he want, not who he is, so Homer questions what does he want. Pigsaw answers he wants to play a game. Homer wonders what kind of game, so Pigsaw explains that in "Bart Simpson Saw Game", Bart told his father the truth, but Homer didn't believe him and choked him instead. He also explains that Homer is not considered to Marge, keeps lying to her, and spends more time at Moe's tavern than in his home. He adds that he doesn't even give attention to Lisa and barely forgets Maggie. To Pigsaw, it seems Homer doesn't value his family, but he's here to fix that. Homer asks what he means thus the puppet answers he has kidnapped his family, who is being held prisoner somewhere in Springfield. His mission is to find and rescue them. Homer believes he is lying and that he won't fall for that. Pigsaw then shows him his captive family to prove him wrong. After this, he advises Homer to hurry if he wants his family safe. He then exclaims: «LET THE GAME BEGIN!» before the TV turns off. Homer talks to himself that he should calm down and thinks about how his family is somewhere in Springfield. When he realizes Springfield is so big, Homer uses his catchphrase: «D'oh!».

The Game begins

In the entrance hall, there is a bowling ball inside a door and Santa's Little Helper hiding in the stair.

In the dining room, there is a pig you can grab.

Defeating The Grim Reaper

Since the Grim Reaper is a skeleton, he is physically fragile.

In the tavern, you ask Moe if he has done anything exciting lately, thus him responding he doesn't, and he wants to experience something excitingly dangerous. After the conversation, you give him the Grim Reaper's cloak for his new dangerous emotions. Moe thanks him while Homer steps back. When Moe puts the cloak, his hand turns into bones, and the bartender exclaims how he is important for the very first time in his life. He wants to try his new powers as he kills Barney, Charlie Sheen, and two women. After this, he touches his forehead, which leads to his death. Therefore, Homer laughs as he asks if he could believe he didn't even plan that.

You then grab a lipstick, a pink lasso, a glass of water, and a Duff beer tank.

At Kwik-E-Mart, a rope and a basket appear.

Defeating Snake

Snake is inside Kwik-E-Mart, so crossing him would give you a game over instantly. However, he can be defeated from a distance.

Since Maradona, a soccer player, is here, you place a football that was behind the board at church beside him. When requesting him to show him one of his famous free-kicks, he'll respond he's too thirsty thus can't shoot in this state. To quench his thirst, you give him a glass of water. Homer requests again to show him one of his free-kicks, but harder. At this point, the soccer player does it, breaking the glass in and knocking Snake out.

In Kwik-E-Mark, Homer tells Apu he's one of the reasons Snake is defeated. Apu thanks him and rewards him with an Indian flute, much to Homer's displeasure. You can now take Snake, who is out of combat, with you.

Inside the church, there is a cat. If you ask Reverend Lovejoy why he is sad, he'll respond that the monkey took his holy water flask and won't come down. To solve the problem, you need three objects for it.

You take away the lid of the basket and put the rope in the basket. You then place the basket with the rope inside directly under the chandelier. Next, you play the Indian flute for the cord to reach the electrolier. Finally, you climb the charmed rope and grab the monkey.

When you go down, Homer tells Lovejoy that he can now have his holy water flask back, but the latter said it's not necessary because something tells him he'll need more than him, thus give it to Homer.

At Duff Beer Co., you can take a membership card that is behind Duffman. If you said to Duffman that you've always wanted his hat and glasses, Duffman will comment that is understandable since everyone wants to be cool like Duffman, but he has to do a favor first: he has to find his cat, Duffcat. If Homer finds him, he will give him his hat and glasses. Homer deals with it, but he asks he would recognize the cat. Duffman answers that he is as cool as him, hence Homer comments what a lucky cat he is.

Around the statue of J. Springfield, there is a balloon behind it and Duffcat on the top of it. You put the leader to reach him, but the cat is not easy to catch, so you have to distract him.

You put a pink lasso and a lipstick on the cat to appear being more "female". After climbing the ladder, you show the cat to Duffcat, and Homer then grabs him by the neck.

After this, you return to Duff Beer Co. and give Duffcat to Duffman while the latter gives you his hat and glasses.

Exorcising the Devil Flanders

Just right after you visit the neighbor, the Flanders, you will get 2 seconds before the Devil Flanders lifts Homer and sends him to Hell. You need something very sacred to defeat him.

You spill the holy water in the balloon, then visit the neighbor. Before 2 seconds run out, you throw the balloon full of holy water at the Devil Flanders, which returns Ned to normal.

You then demand Flanders to lend you some money, but Flanders lies that last time, Homer promised to pay him back on time, and he's still waiting. Homer calls him out for lying, and Flanders admits it but asks when he will be paying him back. Homer replies on February 30th, and he won't miss as he promises. At Kwik-E-Mart, you pay Apu with money to buy three products: a mask, a net, and a paintbrush.

Soaking Patty and Selma out

At the Simpsons house, in the kitchen, Patty and Selma will smoke and choke Homer whenever he enters the piece. You have to protect yourself from the smoke and take one vice against another.

Before you enter the kitchen, you use the mask to protect yourself from the smoke and, after entering, a Duff beer tank to soak the sisters.

As you enter the gym, you do weight lifting four times for Homer to get muscular.

At Lard Lad Donuts, right after you enter, a metal foot kicks the giant donut, and you stop the donut immediately by clicking on it (when Homer is muscular). Now that the giant donut blocks the entrance, Homer has to eat it. Following this, you can now visit all places in Springfield. In the store, you can grab a paint bucket.

Outside of the church, you paint the black cat to become the "white" cat with makeup, then give it to the Crazy Cat Lady, who accepts it and throws her pair of tweezers away.

In Comic Guy's shop, you give Comic Guy a Yoda doll. Comic Guy asks if it's unique, and Homer responds that it is as it's the first talking Yoda ever made. Comic Guy wants to see it, and after the Yoda doll talks, he wants it. He asks Homer what he wants in exchange, and he said a costume, so Comic Guy picks a small size Spiderman one, which Homer accepts. Comic Guy will let you go to the bathroom if you ask if you can use it. In the bathroom, there is a somniferous to grab. You disguise the pig with a costume of Spiderman, then let the radioactive spider bite it to gain the superpower.

At the retirement castle, a rabbit foot is behind the board. You take away Jasper Beardly's paddlin to unarm him. At the police station, if you enter inside, Homer will shout Chief Wiggum's name to wake him up, but the latter will shot Homer accidentally right after awake, so you need to awake him at long range.

You simply use the slide whistle close to the open window to wake up Chief Wiggum due to the sound.

Now that the policeman is awake, you show him Snake for the latter to be in jail. For a moment, Homer locks Snake up, but the key broke. At that time, Chief Wiggum is also locked with Snake in the cell, thus the criminal beats the Chief until he faints. Homer confesses this was just an honest mistake, and he's just human. Afterward, you can now take a fishbowl with you.

At the Lake Springfield, if you request to Captain McCallister that you need him to take you to the other shore, he declares he would gladly do it, but he's so worried for his fish that he can't do anything. You can now take a rock that is beside the dog. If you directly open the door of the castle, Igor Smithers will immediately smack Homer with his wooden mallet. You should get him a little present to get him off the way.
