The "Feed The Beast Sky Odyssey" was originally intended to be an expansion to FTB Sky Adventures has now evolved into a brand new modpack from the FTB Team. This pack is currently a PUBLIC BETA.
Launcher Description [ edit ]
Sky Odyssey introduces a unique take on the Sky Block genre. With several new custom mods, you can now generate power and EMC to levels never seen before to aid you in the opening a portal to Dimension X.
Brand new and updated mods include: - Project EX - Helping to generated extreme amounts of EMC. Botanic Bonsai - Feed your Bonsai pots with mana to increase growth rate. FTB Guides - Updated to include many new quest and reward types. FTB Money - A brand new in game virtual currency allows you to easily keep track of your money. This pack also includes an expanded version of the shop first introduced in FTB Sky Adventures.
To go alongside this, you can use the Beast Coin Miner to turn your excess power into Beast Coins and a brand-new custom machine from Modular Machinery which can help you to generate previously unimaginable amounts of power.

Here is how I have progressed through the modpack so far:
Built an Actually Additions Crusher and Coal Generator, started doubling Emerald Ore for EMC
Once I got 10 million EMC, I switched the machines out for a Red Matter furnace. It doubles Emerald Ore SUPER fast. Hooked it up to Condensers for automation until I could afford Personal EMC Links
Used Thermal Expansion machines to make a Petrotheum Dust, then use an RFTools Crafter (Level 3) to combine the dust with Dilithium Ore. Generates EMC faster than the Red Matter Furnace
Started upgrading Project EX Collectors at this point. I think I made it to
MK10 before I had to start waiting for more EMC to generate.
Created some Extra Utils Water Mills, and bought an Angel Ring for flight
Hooked up a Petrified Fuel Generator with Aeternalis Fuel blocks for power gen
Went to the Nether, brought back some Wither Skellies to get their skulls
Fought the wither a couple times
Built a top-tier Woot factory for Withers (fed with skulls from Deep Mob Learning machines)
Got Game Over Loot Crates from the Woot factory to get creative drawer upgrade, then put a Game Over create into the creative drawer
Used creative portable tanks to pump pink slime for repeatable quest (30,000 Beast Coin)
Bought a couple of Watches of Flowing Time. With 2, pink slime quest takes about 3.5 seconds to complete. Set up an autoclicker to collect quest rewards, waited about 20 minute to get 10,000,000 Beast Coin
Used the same method to pump Liquid XP into an Ender IO Experience Obelisk to get 1.5k XP
This is where I am now. Most of the "Finale" quests done. but a long way to go.

If you are struggling to kill the guardian of Gaia just use the archangel ring and spam right click as it spawns. If enough arrows get shot out the Gaia guardian will die in one hit.
If you want more loot bags add a slime cube to the chunk that your mob grinder is in.
