PvP duties involve battles fought against other players rather than in-game creatures and incorporates an independent battle system with its own set of unique rules.

Requirements

A job level 30 or higher is required to participate in the Wolves' Den, Frontline, or Rival Wings.

Player Attributes (Job and Item Level)

When entering a PvP instance, all player attributes will be updated to their PvP counterparts.

Actions

Players will be limited to a unique set of actions and traits that can only be used in PvP duties. For more details about PvP actions and traits, please refer to the job guide.

Text Commands

PvP actions also require unique text commands.

(Executes the indicated action or combo action on a designated target.)

Hotbars

When entering a PvP instance, all hotbars will be updated to their PvP counterparts.

Changing Classes and Jobs

Duties that allow players to change roles will be restricted to jobs only.

Battle System

Spell casting cannot be interrupted by taking damage.

The following are unavailable in PvP duties.

Auto-attack
Blocking with shields
Parrying
Critical hits
Direct hits

Players can gain resistance to the following status ailments. * After being inflicted with a status ailment, players will temporarily gain resistance to said ailment when its effect wears off.

General Actions

Certain actions will be unavailable during PvP duties.

Wolves' Den Pier

In PvP duties, adrenaline rush will replace the limit break action and, unlike limit break, can be used by single players. The adrenaline rush gauge can be filled through combating enemies and completing other objectives, dependent on the PvP duty. The adrenaline rush action performed will depend on your role. Master exclusive PvP actions, and battle your way to victory!

PvP makes use of specialized actions separate from those used in PvE. Knowing how they differ will be key to drawing out the full potential of your favorite jobs and overcoming your rivals.

Tank

Stand on the front line of battle, and soak up enemy attacks. Protect your allies, harry your foes, and be the rallying point for your party.

Healer

Use restorative arts to heal your party. Provide support from the back line by enhancing your allies and enfeebling your enemies.

Melee DPS

Get up close and personal. Master the art of movement and positioning to unleash devastating attacks.

Physical Ranged DPS

Use physical ranged attacks to inflict a steady stream of damage. Offset personal vulnerability through use of impeding actions and high mobility.

Magic Ranged DPS

Obliterate foes from afar with powerful casted spells. Aim to finish off wounded enemies with high burst damage.

PvP allows players to compete against one another in one of several unique instanced arenas. We have introduced a new PvP-specific battle system with the release of patch 4.0, making it easier than ever for newcomers to participate. There's never been a better time to join the fray!

Требования к ролям

Когда вы участвуете во Frontline campaigns, нет требований или ограничений в отношении ролей в группах. Кроме того, игроки могут свободно менять профессии и классы на территории своей Grand Company.

* Как и в случае трех главных городов, время отката умений не будет обнуляться при смене класса или профессии.

Действия

Эффекты определенных действий игроков, которые используются за пределами PvP, будут ограничены во Frontline campaigns.

Во время кампании по захвату игроки помогают своей компании получать информацию из Allagan tomeliths и побеждать игроков соперничающих команд. Allagan Tomeliths

Остров Seal Rock – это место, где находятся древние реликвии Allagan tomeliths, структуры, в которых хранится информация, необходимая Grand Companies. Игроки должны найти и захватить tomeliths, чтобы активировать их и получить эту информацию.

Активные и неактивные Allagan Tomeliths

Allagan Tomeliths неактивные в начале матча и будут в случайном порядке активироваться через определенные интервалы времени. Каждый tomelith имеет ограниченное количество информации, которую можно получить из него, и станет неактивным после того, как этот лимит будет достигнут. Неактивные tomeliths будут активированы случайным образом после истечения установленного количества времени. По ходу матча максимальное число одновременно активных tomeliths будет меняться.

Захват Allagan Tomeliths

Активные tomeliths будут иметь статус "Unoccupied" или "Occupied" в зависимости от того, захватила ли их какая-либо Grand Company. Если игрок захватит не занятый tomelith, его статус станет occupied. Если tomelith уже был захвачен соперниками, а теперь его захватывает новый игрок, его статус станет unoccupied. Tomeliths меняют свой статус на unoccupied, когда становятся активными после неактивности.

Уровни Allagan Tomeliths

Allagan tomeliths активируются на одном из трех уровней: S, A или B. Хотя на более высоких уровнях шанс активации tomeliths ниже, они содержат больше информации, которую можно получить при захвате. По ходу матча шанс активации tomeliths на более высоком уровне будет повышаться.
