Суть модификации в ракетном двигателе, прикрепленном к задней части автомобиля, который выглядит так, словно это не источник энергии, интегрированный в корпус машины, а космическое орудие, стреляющее эктоплазмой, которое случайно обронил проходящий мимо житель Кибертрона.
Стоит ли сомневаться в скоростных возможностях The Rocket Voltic? Ракетный двигатель, в случае, если мы хотим существенно ускориться, взрывается пламенным орнаментом, резко толкая автомобиль вперед, скорость которого за 1,5 секунды увеличивается с 0 до 130 миль в час, постепенно возрастая до 140. Далее «ракета» перезаряжается, на что уходит около 9 секунд.
Очередной взрыв ракетного двигателя отображается в виде желтой полоски, расположенной под радаром, и, если рядом оказывается пешеход, он, скорее всего, погибнет.
