These locations in Yakuza: Like a Dragon were only found by real experts on the game.
Yakuza: Like a Dragon might only offer a small map when compared to far larger games, but the area that players get to explore is particularly dense, with lots of small passageways, buildings to enter, and full of secret areas that players can discover. Additionally, there are other maps that are available to players during certain points of the game, and these too have their own secrets to discover.
There are a few secret areas that players might stumble across during their playthrough, but to make things a little easier, here is a guide to the most top-secret spots that players should definitely pay a visit to.
Updated on March 10th, 2021: Yakuza: Like a Dragon is finally available for PlayStation 5, introducing a whole new audience of players to the Yakuza fandom. While other console players have had months to get to grips with Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio's latest adventure, PlayStation 5 players have the benefit of being able to look up all the information they need as all of the secrets of Yokohama have already been uncovered.
Some of those secrets are hidden locations that can only be accessed after players have fulfilled certain requirements, or during randomly triggered conditions. Below is a list of the 11 hidden areas that players might otherwise miss in their normal playthrough.
11 Secret Casino
There's a secret Casino hidden in Chinatown that has minigames such as Blackjack and Poker available for players to enjoy. However, this little gem doesn't show on the map until after players have already discovered it.
Players will need to head to the public toilets in Chinatown and speak to the NPC just outside. As long as Ichiban's Style Level is at least 4, the NPC will let slip that there is a secret casino hidden in the back toilet stall. Head inside the toilets, enter the stall, and examine the wall to find it!
Hidden throughout Like a Dragon are special Honk Honk NPCs, in fact, there is a trophy/achievement related to finding all five of them. Problem is, they're hidden in obscure places and they're not always there, as they spawn randomly. If they're not there on your first visit, try using a taxi to refresh the map and visit again.
The first Honk Honk NPC can be found in the small alleyway south of Survive Bar, and paying her 10,000 yen will increase Ichiban's Passion by 10.
5 Secret Shop: Black Market Merchant
The next secret shop is the Black Market Merchant weapon shop and it can be found close to Restaurant Row. Players should be familiar with this little area by now, as there is a secret staircase in the alley that branches off from Ijin Street that they would have been guided to as part of the earlier storyline.
Players need to head up the small stairs, then before they descend to the next level again, look around for a boarded-up door. Once again, a Foreman is required to use the Demolish skill to remove this obstacle, and then the shop will be accessible.
The next Honk Honk NPC is found in the Sotenbori area, which means it's not accessible until later in the game, after Chapter 12. This particular Honk Honk woman is hidden in a wide back alley near the north area of the map.
For the price of 50,000 yen, this NPC will increase Ichiban's Passion, Charisma, and Confidence by 10 points each. Increasing Ichiban's stats is necessary in order to gain access to other elements of the game, such as job roles, romantic partners, and more.
3 Secret Shop: Mangekyo
The next secret shop is Mangekyo, which specializes in selling weapons. It can be found in the Bar District, close to Survive Bar, but once again players will need to have a Foreman in their party to take advantage of their Demolish ability in order to access the shop.
Players need to head up the stairs and along the balcony to find this store. While the items on offer in Mangekyo aren't as good as the other secret shops, it's still worth visiting.
The last Honk Honk NPC is found in Kamurocho, an area that players don't have access to for a large part of the game, so this is likely to be one of the last Honk Honk NPCs that players will get. Once all five have been interacted with, players will earn the "Honk-Honk Hero" achievement/trophy.
The Honk Honk Princess is hidden in a back alley near Akaushimaru, in the Hotel District. For the price of 30,000 yen, she will increase Ichiban's Intellect, Style, and Charisma by 10 points each.
1 Kamulop's Shop
From Chapter 7 onwards, players will start finding a new kind of collectible called Tojo Clan Crests. Once this happens, there is a new secret shop that can be accessed and the NPC for it is none other than Kamulop, who players would have been introduced to earlier in the game as the mascot for Kamurocho. This shop is hidden away in the Hotel Grande Blu Marino, just between Hamakita park and Chinatown.
Players just need to head into the hotel and go through into the courtyard area to find Kamulop. After a short cutscene, players will be able to spend the Tojo Clan Crests that they have been collecting to obtain a variety of rare and useful items.

В самом начале третьей главы наткнемся на этот квест автоматически.
Говорим с бездомным, который предлагает нам выполнить так называемый Can Quest. Суть проста, нужно собрать необходимое количество жестяных банок за установленное время и вовремя вернуться. На первом уровне нужно собрать 50 банок и больше, возвращаемся на финиш, в награду получаем Eco Points, которые можно потратить в магазине у этого бездомного.
В конце Sakura River Street видим женщину и полицейского, разговариваем с ними, они говорят о том, что здесь постоянно кто-то справляет нужду, но сейчас мы никого не увидим. Отходим на пару метров, пока не появится синий значок. Подходим обратно к этому месту и видим четырех оборзевших японцев. Но естественно по канону они не все делают пись-пись. Выбрать нужно второго справа. Он агрится, бьём ему по куполу что есть мочи и он успокоится. В награду получаем аксессуар Binding (HP).
Подходим к миссии и видим кучу мусора, которым завален вход в здание. Говорим с девушкой, которая нам объяснит, что это Pawn Shop. Отходим, возвращаемся и видим двух мужчин, которые о чем-то спорят, говорим с ними. В зависимости от того, какую вы хотите повысить стату, выбираем ответ.
Следующим этапом нам нужно будет вразумить владельца по старинке, а именно силой КУЛАКА! (биты). Побеждаем мистера Гоми, в награду получаем Beautiful Cloth и Flame Amulet (Сопротивление +10 к огню). Также получаем доступ к магазину Benten Pawn, в котором можно как покупать, так и продавать вещи (единственное место в Injincho, где можно продавать, больше я не нашел.
Миссия, в которой нам наглядно покажут, что такое Sujidex и с чем его едят.
От Hello Work идём в Otohime Land, видим там группу подозрительных челов, избиваем их, Нанба-Чан как никогда полезен в данной миссии. После боя встречаем профессора и узнаём о Sujidex'е (Бестиарий). Он попросит нас пойти в Sujimon Center и положить там всех. Приходим и нам дают выбор с кем мы хотим драться, данный выбор ни на что не влияет, заколотить нужно всех, поэтому выбираем, что душе угодно, побеждаем в битве. В награду получим приложение для телефона Sujidex.
Итак подходим к миссии возле Otohime Land. Нам дадут флаер, который расскажет про Poundmates (вызов Саммонов). Деремся к группой барыг и вызываем Gary Buster Holmes. На самом деле один из сильных саммонов. На этом миссия закончена.
На восточной стороне реки встречаем бездомного, который разговаривает с мальчиком, далее встречаем его возле Takoyaki Restoraunt, смотрим катсцену. Возвращаемся к бездомному, он не знает, что подарить мальчику и просит нас помочь с выбором, я выбирал второй вариант, но каждый повышает отдельную стату.
Выбрав второй вариант, бездомный попросит нас принести ему немного гвоздей и досок (мы выбрали книжную полку, честно говоря другие варианты не пробовал). Идём к синей метке, там увидим учителя карате с учениками, набиваем морды всем, унижаем и всё в этом роде, получаем доски. Идём на следующий маркер, расположенный возле Romance Workshop, избиваем там группу гопников, в награду получаем гвозди, возвращаемся к бездомному. Далее он просит нас проверить, понравился ли подарок мальчику, идём южнее и находим его в урне.
Возвращаемся обратно к бездомному, приходим отец мальчика и хочет всех опустить. В итоге его опускаем мы, в награду получаем Sacrifice Stone (камень, который не даст умереть один раз во время боя).
Возле Otohime Land встречаем двух мужчин, якудзу и рабочего, рабочий попросит помочь ему с якудзой, соглашаемся помочь. После боя рабочий попросит совета, чтобы получить прибавку Kindness +10, выбираем вариант Face you wife.
Далее идём в Pocket Cafe и разговариваем с женщиной, выбираем первый вариант, получаем Hot Water. Возвращаемся к мужчине возле Otohime Land, далее начинается японская дичь, не буду спойлерить. После боя, будет выбор вариантов, выбираем первый, получаем прибавку Passion +20.
В данной миссии нас познакомят с мини-игрой "Кинотеатр", здесь нам нужно не заснуть во время просмотра очередного утомительного низкобюджетного шлака. В качестве врагов выступают барашки. Первые фильмы очень легкие. И ещё "ВНИМАТЕЛЬНЕЕ С ПЕТУХОМ".
Достаточно вместительная побочка. Предыстория такая, что на дереве висит плод, и есть девочка, которая тяжело болеет и считает, что если он упадёт, то она умрёт. Нам нужно будет периодически возвращаться к дереву и отгонять от него всяких даунов, которые каким-то образом решили, что имеют право подвергать плод угрозе. В данной миссии мы получим в распоряжение ещё одного саммона.
Данная миссия познакомит нас с мини-игрой, в которой мы выступаем студентом, которому нужно сдать экзамены в различных областях. Сдавать мы будем Sports Tier 2.

Из названия понятно, что заниматься мы будем любимым делом всех якудз. КАРТИНГ.
Встречаем старого знакомого Fujisawa и говорим с ним и конечно же соглашаемся покататься на картинг-карах. На поворотах, дабы не терять скорость, рекомендую использовать дрифт (на джое от иксбокса это X, на соньке квадрат).
Миссия открывается после победы в Cerberus Cup. Принимаем вызов от Naoki and Hama. Побеждаем их, миссия пройдена. Не забываем прокачивать немного свой карт, хотя я почти на дефолте всё тащил.
После победы в Pegasus Cup, нужно победить в очной ставке Ai and Matsuko.
После победы в Phoenix Cup, принимаем вызов от Suguru.
После выполнения 43 побочной миссии, нам снова бросают вызов, на этот раз Akira. Рекомендую с ним использовать Ingition Shadow.
Чтобы разлочить эту миссию, нужно пройти 10 экзаменов в Vocation School, а также открыть свою компанию (бизнес-игра). Миссия достаточно простая, нужно будет защитить Икари от толстосума. После боя Икари присоединится к нашей компании.
В данной миссии нам откроется ещё одна особенность игры. Различные задания, за которые можно получать награды, в виде ресурсов, одежды, аксессуаров. Встречаем парня на Ijin-dori и избиваем пристающих к нему панков, далее появляется истинный герой, который пришел на зов, чтобы защитить парня, в итоге он принимает нас за угрозу и нападает. Валим его и он приглашает нас в свою компанию истинных героев. Открывается Part-time Hero.
Миссия связанная с открытием мастерской в игре. Следуем по маркерам. Миссия завершена, нам открыта мастерская/кузня.
Итак, в данной миссии мы наконец-то сможем начать свой бизнес. Встречаемся с Эри-чан, она показывает нам свой маленький магазинчик, который они держат с бабулей. Выслушиваем её историю и историю отношений с Нономией. Нам открывается мини-игра бизнес, в которой мы должны покупать собственности, распределять персонал, чтобы он полностью покрывал нужды, будь то ресторан, хостес клуб, предприятие и т.д.. Честно скажу эта мини-игра отнимает очень много времени и нереально затягивает, как и все бизнес-игры в любой части Якудзы. Поэтому рекомендую немного почитать гайды, хотя по сути ничего сложного нет, главное содержать персонал в хорошем настроении и делать правильный выбор, прозапас никого не держать, чтобы впустую не платить З/П. В конце миссии мы получим нового саммона петуха Nugget'a.
На мосту находим бесхозного рака, но как оказывается у него есть хозяин, рак оказывается в реке, после знатного выброса без парашюта, и мы должны будем найти его на другом берегу, спускаемся и видим много других раков, нам нужно найти того, у которого на спине X. Жмём R2/RT и переходим в режим поиска. Относим бездомному рака Nancy, которого как оказалось он хочет скушать! Вместо этого мы предлагаем купить ему Premium Sushi Set. Идём в Poppo Store (Jinnai Station) и покупаем, относим бездомному. Миссия выполнена. Рак Nancy становится нашим саммоном.
В данной миссии необходимо помочь бездомному подкатить к раздающей еду тёлочке. Вначале, когда подойдём, нужно будет избить хамоватого типа. Отходим - возвращаемся, один бездомный просит помощи в ухаживаниях и спрашивает, что ему в себе изменить
Выбираем Clothes (одежда) получаем Style +10. Идём на станцию Kamiuchi, взяв с собой Tissues (салфетки или ткань, можно выбивать в Can Quest). Возвращаемся к суповарне и говорим с Kuroi. Отходим - возвращаемся, снова говорим, он спрашивает нас куда бы её на свидание сводить, рекомендуем кинотеатр (Movie Theater) получаем Style +10. Ждём пока в игре наступит ночь (надо пройти по сюжетке) идём к кинотеатру, смотрим катсцену, избиваем гопника. Миссия выполнена.
Видим как человека облепила толпа, узнаём, что это известный игрок Hanayama, которого выперли из команды. Он просит нас поболтать с его бывшим сокомандником, идём в Hamazake Area, встречаем его там, деремся с мутным типом. Возвращаемся обратно к Hanayama, разговариваем. Идём в Rose Blossom Cabaret, там избиваем нахальных и оборзевших в доску бейсбольных менеджеров, которые не ценят вклад суперигроков в спорт и могут делать, что захотят, нагибаем их. Возвращаемся в Hamazake Area, разговариваем с обоими игроками. Миссия выполнена. Hanayama присоединяется к нашей компании, скажу, что прокачанный он полезен и его можно нанять.
Оригинальная японская миссия, всё как мы любим. Идём к маркеру, обнаруживаем голого человека, который закрыт одной лишь пеной. Он просит нас прикрыть его и отвести его в какой-нибудь бутик с одеждой. Осторожно идём и смотрим, чтобы поливальщики из шлангов его не задели (у меня они все стояли так далеко, что просто я не знаю кем нужно быть, чтобы зафейлить), доходим до магаза, продавщица отказывается впускать его, убеждаем её фразой "There are unavoidable circumstances", она впускает его и он одевается, далее встречаем его ещё раз в том же месте где нашли. В награду получаем Mysterious Blush.
Миссия доступна только вечером. Поднимаемся на второй этаж ресторана Wette Kitchen. После катсцены, избиваем негодяев. Поднимаемся ещё раз на второй этаж, разговариваем с грустящим мальчиком, которого зовут Noboru. После разговоров идём в магазин одежды Hustle Shop. После очередной катсцены, кладём на лопатки очередного плохого парня. Возвращается к Wette Kitchen и разговариваем с Нобору. Миссия пройдена, Нобору присоединяется к компании. (можно использовать на ранних стадиях).
Подходим и видим, как бездомный копается в горе мусора и он пытается доказать нам, что в этом месте выбрасывают очень хорошие и дорогие вещи. Он просит помощи, соглашаемся. Мимо проходят какие-то бродяги и агрятся на нас. Кладём их. Далее отходим и возвращаемся к мусорке и получаем награду от бездомного. Снова деремся с противниками, снова получаем награду от бездомного. Возвращаемся в третий раз, на сей раз на нас агрятся якудзы, но мы показываем им истинный дух Якудзы. Получаем награду. Миссия выполнена.
Разговариваем с девочкой возле Kaminai Station, она собирает пожертвования на операция для своего братика. Донатим сколько душе угодно (учитывая, что вы миллионер я бы не скупился!). Вокруг сплошные конкуренты и почти никто не даёт ей пожертвования, она попросит совета, где бы ей лучше встать, выбираем "Near popular restaurants" получаем +10 Intellect. Далее идём к ресторану (маркер на карте) и видим, что Мигуми снова не имеет успеха, никто не обращает на неё внимания, тогда после разговора нам предоставят выбор.
Идём к следующему маркеру и видим парочку, которая обсуждает девочку и хочет устранить конкурента, избиваем до полусмерти. Возвращаемся к ресторану и говорим с Мегуми. Миссия выполнена.
В Korean Town заходим в Eomeoni’s Vow Restaurant и видим алконафта, который портит всем день, потом он сваливает и владелец ресторана нам рассказывает, что он тот ещё недотёпа и может пойти в другой бар и натворить там делов. Идём в Bar Rodriguez и смотрим ещё одну сцену. Выбираем первую опцию, чтобы начать бой. Избиваем алкаша. После боя выбираем "Lee Ryu Jung" получаем Intellect +10. Далее встречаем его в парке, смотрим ещё одну сцену, Он оказывается известным режиссером, карьера которого пошла ко дну, он просит принести ему водички, покупаем в автомате возле картинга Suntory Mineral Water. Далее идём к маркеру в Korean Town и видим, что на него хочет напасть хейтер-фотограф, который вымогает деньги за компрометирующие фото, начищаем ему щечло. В награду получаем Bullet of Memory (+XP для профессии Hitman), а также режиссер становится саммоном.
Возле пешеходного перехода встречаем бабулю, которая никак не успевает перейти дорогу в отведенное время. Далее идём к маркеру и по пути увидим невероятно быстрого мужика! Подходим к продавку этой дури и говорим с ним, испытываем на себе и становимся флэшем, он расскажет нам про свой супер рецепт и даст немного своего чудесного Кимчи. Далее идём к Kaminai station и видим грустную девушку, которая хочет признаться в чувствах парню, но он уезжает навсегда и она не может набраться храбрости, а поезд уже отъезжает, даём ей Кимчи и смотрим японщину. Далее идём в парк Hamakita и даём Кимчи атлету. Возвращаемся к старушке и даём ей Кимчи, получаем Passion +10. Возвращаемся к продавцу Кимчи. Миссия выполнена.
Идём в Akaushimaru и разговариваем с Мегуми. Далее отходим немного и возвращаемся, ещё раз разговариваем с Мегуми. Идём к маркеру возле Hello Work и избиваем удотов, разговариваем с отцом Мегуми. Далее нам нужно будет задонатить ей 1 миллион йен, донатим. Едем в поликлинику и передаём деньги, смотрим катсцену, радуемся своей светлой карме. Возвращаемся в Akaushimaru и говорим с Мегуми и её родителями. Теперь мы можем вызывать Мегуми в качестве саммона.
Ночью идём в район "Fuku tokucho" и слушаем разговор группы людей, они говорят о каком то маньяке, который наводит ужас на район. Далее разговариваем с чуваком и идём с владельцем ресторана Eomeoni’s Vow, выбираем "Let's Investigate". Идём по маркеру, начинается катсцена. Видим перед собой жалкое подобие Джейсона, показываем ему у кого настоящий мачете. Получаем Джейсона в качестве саммона.
Разговариваем с тур-гидом в восточной части парка Hamakita. После разговора идём ко входу в La Chatte Blanche и встречаем там Ayami, она просит поддержать её во время тура, т.к. она забывчивая, и помогать ей подсказывая правильные названия мест, она все их нам расскажет и наша задача их запомнить. Итак идём к месту возле The Bun Sauna и выбираем "Let's Go".

So you are stuck with the bad stock weapons until then? Kinda weird that the DLC gear is so limited while the other jobs have alot of diffrent weapons during the gameplay.
Any more info on this? I'm in chapter 9, and I still can't find any weapon upgrades over the base for devil rocker, or matriarch, and it's extremely annoying. Like, I don't even see the point of these 2 classes, when viable weapon unlocks are so late in the game.
So can someone explain in detail what I need to do to find a weapon upgrade?

To start this substory, over by the man standing by the river to the West of Kinka Pharmacy. You need your Confidence stat at level 4 first.
Whatcha buying, stranger? At these Hidden Shops in Yauzka Like A Dragon of course!
There are three hidden shops in Yakuza Like A Dragon that the player can find and buy rare and exclusive items from them, such as Gold keys. That said, it would be a good idea at some point to find them all as Gold keys are required to open Gold safes, which hold rare and powerful loot inside. Keep reading below for where to find all hidden shop locations.
How to Unlock Hidden Shops
To unlock hidden shops, you will, in general, need to have gotten the demolish skill from the Foreman job for Ichiban and use this said skill to remove the barricades from the two hidden shops. After this, you will then be able to use both shops to buy rare items like Golden keys. However, for the third hidden shop, you will need to do something entirely different.
Where to find Hidden Shop: Fumie
As we explained in our Gold keys guide, you have to go over to the Commercial District in the following location above to find this hidden Shop. But to get inside, you have to have the Foreman job demolish skill, so get it if you haven't already. After that, head on over to the location in the Commercial District and tear that barricade down.
Where to find Hidden Shop: Mangekyo
Same deal as the Fumie dealer, but you're going a bit north for this one. To be exact, you're heading on over to the Bar District, where you completed your first job from Hello Work.
When you are at the Bar District, locate a set of stairs going up; on the right side is where you will find the barricade you need to tear down. See the image above for the exact location on the map and the one below for where to find it.
Where to find Hidden Shop: Black Market Merchant
The last one is the hardest to find as it requires you to play a bit into the game before it unlocks; so far the time being, don't worry about locating it as you will automatically by following the storyline. But regardless, you can find it in the following location above near Ijin Street.

7 Secret Shop: Fumie
The first secret shop that players will want to visit is Fumie and it can be found close to the map edge on Sunrise Street, past where Ichiban and Nanba have their first housed accommodation. In order to access this shop, one of the characters in the party must be the Foreman job role.
The shop is hidden behind planks and debris, and a Foreman can use his Demolish ability to tear these down and allow access into the store, which sells weapons.
The next Honk Honk NPC can only be accessed after players have progressed past Chapter 11, as they will need the key card item that lets them access the back garden area of Sunlight Castle, the retirement home that players should remember from earlier in the game.
This NPC can be found in the far corner and he is the most expensive Honk Honk NPC; for the princely sum of 100,000 yen, this guy will increase each of Ichiban's personality stats by 10.
9 Secret Gambling Hall
For anyone looking for some more traditional minigames, there's a secret gambling hall that has traditional Japanese card games such as Oichi-Kabu. Much like the secret casino, this place won't show on the map until the player has already discovered it.
Close to Kinka Bridge, there will be two NPCs who won't let players pass them unless Ichiban has at least Level 4 in Confidence. After this, they will allow him to pass and talk about a secret gambling hall that can be found down a ladder and along a short path.
The next Honk Honk NPC can be found south of Jinnai Station, on Hyakkei Street, and north of Wette Kitchen. There are stairs that descend down into a subway area, one of which is home to a silver safe. This is the subway that players want to be in, as this is where the NPC should appear, in front of the shutters.
For 50,000 yen she will increase Ichiban's Passion, Charisma, and Kindness by 10 each. Interestingly, these Honk Honk NPCs can be visited more than once, but players have to leave some time before using their services again.
