As Valnir Rok does not feature a separate attribute or statistic system for characters, crafting is an essential element of gameplay. Precious resources can be harvested to create more advanced items. The better the quality of a player's weapons, the greater their advantage in combat against wild animals or other players.

Инвентарь

Прежде всего, старайтесь не хватать всё подряд в начальной стадии игры.

Вес и количество предметов, которые вы можете унести, будут зависеть от того, какие у вас сумки. Чем больше у вас предметов, тем медленнее вы становитесь. Это может стать критичным, если понадобится убегать от диких зверей или врагов, там будет важна каждая секунда.

In Valnir Rok crafting recipes at a workbench or out in the wild require certain resources. Resources can be found by looting animals, containers, people, and various plants, rocks, and trees.

Задания

Проживание

Будьте осторожны! Небрежно сооружённая постройка уязвима для непогоды, а неохраняемый дом уязвим для воров.

Overview [ ]

Crafting allows players to make anything from medicine and tools to legendary special items. Experimenting with the system is the key to success, as there are only a few recipes available from the start. The rest have to be discovered by trial and error or consulting on the wiki.

New recipes are discovered by placing resources in the designated crafting tab on the Inventory screen. All available recipes for that particular combination will be displayed below, along with any additional ingredients they might require (known or unknown).

Where to get resources? The island offers players numerous possibilities to collect resources: Collecting herbs, cutting down trees, quarrying stone and mining iron ore. There are no restrictions as to who can do what in the current version of the alpha.

It's planned that every player can learn a craft, such as that of a weapon smith, an armament smith, a farmer or healer, and thus can become a valuable and important member of a clan. Each craft has several skill levels which must be achieved. Master Craftsmen can produce special items.

Ремесленники могут мастерить предметы для других игроков и получать за это деньги. Мастер сам решает, использовать ли свои ингредиенты для создания предметов, или потребовать их от другого игрока.

У каждого ремесла несколько уровней мастерства, которые должны быть последовательно открыты. Мастер-ремесленник может создавать особые предметы.

Божественная поддержка

На Вальнире невозможно избежать контакта с богами. Поэтому вам следует внимательно выбирать, кто из трёх богов может больше всего помочь вам в ваших странствиях по Вальниру.

Вы можете нападать на других игроков сервера в любое время так же, как и они могут нападать на вас. Не теряйте бдительности и будьте готовы защитить себя и свою собственность. Если вы погибнете в бою, все ваши вещи, которые в этот момент были при вас, будут утеряны и могут быть подобраны другими игроками.

Пытайтесь уворачиваться от атак врагов и обращать внимание на эффективную дальность вашего оружия. Поскольку у всех игроков одинаковые начальные значения, вам потребуются превосходящие оружие и броня, чтобы быть уверенным в своей победе в бою.

Чтобы побеждать противников, вы также можете назначать награды за их головы. Правда они могут отменить её, выплатив сумму самостоятельно.

As we spawn on the beach upon entering a new server, you will be surrounded by a destroyed longboat , dead bodies and lots of wooden planks. These wooden planks are your first chance to gather wood. There are also small rocks scattered around, collect those along your travels. This will get you started, You can find more regarding crafting and recipies within the Crafting Section. The beach is also where you can find your first quests. Simply walk up to an NPC and press F to interact.

The MAIN interaction button within the game is the F key. You can use this to collect / interact and focus.

The map can be accessed by pressing M. The map is fulled revealed at the start and shows the player location.

In the basics section, you will have read that we will be using the F button alot. It is the same for gathering. In order to gather efficiently, we will need tools.

The better the tool, the better the gather rate.

Lets take a look at the main items that we can gather,

Tree - Provides Wood & Sticks - Requires Pick-Axe or Axe

Rock - Provides Stone & Iron Ore - Required Piack-Axe or Axe

Clay - Provides Clay for mortar - Requires Pickaxe or Axe

Fibrous Plant - Used to turn into Thread

Various Berries - For Potions / Food - Press F to Gather

Wheat - Food - Press F to Gather

Animals - (Pig) = Provides Hide and Meat

When it comes to crafting, you will be able to craft many items from your basic inventory.

If you want to learn the recipes without looking, it simply is a game of dragging materials into the crafting section of your inventory.

One you have the recipe for the item you need, simply ensure you have enough resources to go ahead and start crafting. The crafting button is at the bottom of the crafting section.

I won't list all of the items for the Advanced crafting, simple look under the workbench items on the recipes section.

You will however need a workbench to craft any structures other than wood. You will pretty much need a workbench for the "good stuff" such as armor / weaponry and advanced tools.

To craft the "good stuff" you will need a refinary. A refinary can be made from your basic crafting menu. You will need Clay / Wood and Stone as mentioned in the recipe section. From here , you will need an axe to gather the clay, stone and iron.

So here is a few useful tips that i have discovered in-game. Some of them may be intentional in the game or glitches. But any obvious glitches have been left out.

To Run faster in-game , have a knife equipped in your hand , this will allow you to sprint faster than just a normal sprint. (As if you where about to rush a target)

Poisioned ? - Use marigold flower to reverse the poison - this will stop your health form depleting.
