Spears are unique because they can remain held outward to deal damage continually by holding down primary attack. While held outward players will deal 10% of stab damage to any enemies the spear makes contact with, allowing players to charge in while dealing damage. There are a variety of special spears found throughout the universe with unique effects, attacks, projectiles and appearances.

Base Statistics

  • Base DPS: 9.0-10.0 health per second (Common), 9.5-10.5 health per second (Uncommon/Rare)
  • Fire Time: 0.83-1.11 seconds between attacks (approx. 0.9-1.2 attacks per second)
  • Knockback Power: 25-35 (strong knockback)

Trivia

This weapon is a reference to the hit anime "Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann." Its flavor text is a very direct reference to a quote from the show, as well as the appearance mimicking the main character Simon's own Drill Spear, which he had in the show's epilogue.

Unique Weapons are specially designed weapons that are not procedurally generated, but have a fixed design - they will always have the same appearance, damage, fire speed, weapon tier and capabilities whenever they are found. The tag "Unique Weapon" is also given in-game to weapons that do not fit a typical weapon type (such as Assault Rifle or Broadsword) but there are many of these more typical weapons that are also Unique but do not carry the tag due to engine limitations.

Many Unique Weapons exist to meet the requirements of a Solarium-tier Pre-Order backer pledge, where the backer was entitled to design a weapon to be included in the final release. Not all Unique Weapons were conceived this way - some are special drops from Bosses and weapons crafted by a player have fixed stats. Also, some weapon types, such as whips and fist weapons are never procedurally generated and so are always Unique Weapons.

Novakid player characters, unlike other races, will craft firearms instead of melee weapons - this is the only way to obtain some of the weapons on this list.

Due to design changes during development, some Unique Weapons are no longer obtainable through normal gameplay - these weapons have been omitted from this index.

Special Attacks

Special attacks are secondary attack types available for each melee weapon. The attacks available are different based on weapon type and rarity. For example a common rarity spear would never have any uncommon specials assigned to it.

Premade and crafted weapons have specific specials assigned based on their weapon type as well, but they do not change.

Common Specials

Common special attacks are those found on common rarity spears. They do not deal any specific elemental damage and apply no status effects.

  • Flurry
    • Description: Unleashes a torrent of rapid strikes which starts slow but speeds up over time.
    • Base Damage: 3 health per hit
    • Energy Usage: 9 energy per strike
    • Initial Fire Time: 0.25 seconds (4 strikes per second)
    • Fire Time Deduction: 0.04 seconds per strike
    • Minimum Fire Time: 0.15 seconds (approx. 6.7 strikes per second)
    • Cooldown: 0.2 seconds
    • Knockback: 10 (weak knockback)
    • Description: Hoists the spear up high and spins it rapidly.
    • Base Damage: 6 health
    • Energy Usage: 60 energy per second
    • Cooldown: 0.2 seconds

    Uncommon Specials

    Rare and Uncommon rarity spears have a unique set of special secondary attacks. They consume energy when used, but unlike their common counterparts these attacks apply a status effect based on the elemental damage type.

    Barrier

    The spear leaves an arcing trail of elemental damage that briefly hangs in the air, knocking any enemies who touch it back and applying damaging Status Effects.

    • Barrier Base Damage: 1 health per segment
    • Energy Usage: 9 energy per barrier segment placed
    • Segment Spacing: 1 tile between segment centers

    Blink Explosion

    Player charges for 0.3 seconds, then disappears and blinks forward, leaving an elemental explosion in their wake applying damaging status effects. The player is invulnerable while using this ability.

    • Base Damage: 28
    • Energy Usage: 120
    • Cooldown: 1.5 seconds
    • Max Distance: 12 tiles
    • Explosion Knockback: 30 (strong knockback)

    Energy Whirl

    Players spin their spear around much like the special attack 'Blade Whirl', but when released the attack unleashes spiraling elemental energy which flies forward dealing damage and applying damaging status effects.

    • Base Damage: 6 health (both whirl and projectile)
    • Energy Usage (Whirl): 60 energy per second
    • Energy Usage (Projectile): 30 energy
    • Cooldown: 1.0 seconds
    • Projectile Knockback: 15 (somewhat weak knockback)

    Rocket Spear

    The spear becomes an elemental flame thrower, blasting a stream of elemental damage and applying damaging status effects. The stream of energy pushes the player backwards, and can be used when timed properly to mitigate falling damage. In very low gravity, this can be used to fly, even perpetually if energy recharge is high enough.

    The Drill Spear is a Tier 6 Legendary spear type Unique Weapon found in space stations and small ship microdungeons in space.

    The Drill Spear's primary attack is a variation on the standard spear thrust, with the ability to hold the attack button to keep the spear extended. Both primary and alt fires cause the drill on the end of the spear to spin and emit a whirring sound cosmetically. The primary fire in particular has a fire time of 1.2 (

    0.83 full-damage stabs per second) and a base DPS of 36.75, producing a stab damage of 44.1 and a hold damage of 4.41 (based on 10% hold multiplier for conventional spears) every 0.25 seconds.

    The weapon also has a unique special ability, internally called Drill Charge: upon holding the secondary attack button, the weapon will be thrust forward after a delay with the drill itself glowing orange and thruster flames coming out of the bottom of the shaft. This deals 12.25 damage and 25 knockback to enemies every 0.25 seconds and pulls the wielder in the direction of the mouse at speeds of up to 25 tiles per second (using a force with a value of 150), all while consuming 45 energy per second. If aimed straight up, the spear will greatly increase the height of the player's jumps, and slow their fall. The pulling mechanic works in zero-gravity as well, making it useful to have during a Space Encounter in case the player's Mech is destroyed. If the gravity augment is equipped to the environmental protection pack it will allow the Drill Spear to have a jetpack like function pulling the player in the direction the mouse is pointing in any environment. Also, as its name implies, this attack allows the wielder to mine blocks - specifically, it damages up to 3 layers of blocks at once every 0.15 seconds for 0.5 block damage each tick.

    The red light on the shaft, as well as the drillhead and thrust flames when using the secondary attack, glow in the dark. Despite that, they emit no light themselves.

    Planetary Drops

    These can appear as Treasure in Chests and Reward Bags obtained anywhere on a Planet, so long as the chest or bag is the appropriate Tier. Many backer-designed weapons have stats equivalent or slightly better than procedurally generated Tier 6 equipment and so appear in Tier 6 chests and bags.

    Всем доброго времени суток.

    Хочу перезапустить свой мир, нашёл команду "/serverreload" которая по описанию перезагружает сервер и перегенерирует все планеты, НО после ввода этой команды перезагружается только сервер, планеты остаются без изменений.

    Я что-то делаю не так или что-то не так с самой командой?

    Есть какой-то ещё способ вернуть мир в начальное состояние, желательно без вреда персонажу и его кораблю?

    Starter Weapon

    You are given a single weapon at the start of the game, which can be upgraded later shortly before the final boss by completing a quest at the Ark in the Outpost.

    Elemental Damage

    Most uncommon and rare spears have an assigned elemental damage type. Some damage types are more effective against specific enemies than others. In addition to determining the damage type, each elemental also applies a Status Effect. These can be damaging (like burning, poison, or electrified) or offer control by impairing enemy movement (like frost). The elemental damage type of each weapon is visible by the corresponding icon in the in-game tooltip.

    The secondary special attacks for rare and uncommon spears are shared, but only rare spears will apply status effects with their primary attack.
