Caster's True Name is Merlin, the Magus of Flowers (花の魔術師, Hana no Majutsu-shi?). The vagrant of the paradise. A prophet and advisor who made her entry into Arthurian Legends as the court magus. She would at times guide, at times torment, and at times help King Arthur as a king so that he could overcome many enemies and hardships. Still, even as a wise woman, she is fundamentally inhuman. For as one can see, she is a mixed-blood of an succubus and a human. With illusions as her forte, she can transform into various shapes——there was a case where she had changed into the shape of a beast whose insides are not human——and her true form is not certain.

Merlin wears a robe with the finest fabrics, though she still looks modest, her hair appears with the colors of the rainbow under sunlight.

A young woman who is like a wind blowing on the grasslands. Before her, anyone would end up letting the tension out of their shoulders - a refreshingly righteous person. Still, due to seemingly being quite lacking in terms of seriousness and such together with a lack of the sense of responsibility, one can see that Merlin may also appear as a shady con girl. A rhetorician who, even while perceiving things in an objective manner and accepting the cruelty of the world of humans, turns it into something bright by saying things like: “But, it wouldn’t be fun otherwise, right?”

It is the Skill to build a special terrain that is advantageous to oneself as a magus, such as for the purpose of collecting mana. Since she tends to gets tired of it, usually she just tosses it away halfway.

It is the Skill to manufacture magical items, from implements of war to items for daily use. Also, this Skill requires time to gather components and manufacture items. The woman herself is full of confidence but it's hard to say that she is superiorly talented for it.

Originally, Merlin should not be summonable in the capacity of a Heroic Spirit; for, irrelevant of the future that comes to pass, her death shall not occur. Ergo, to serve a Master in the capacity of a Servant is in essence a fulfillment of her personal desires. To put it in other words, she acts as a Servant merely as a part of her hobby. For the purpose of making her fantasies as reality, she has by personal effort obtained this Skill, even though it would be normally restricted to a certain unique Class -- making use of it to the end of pretending to be summoned as a Servant.

is a Skill that represent the techniques and arts to artificially give birth to and raise a "King". Merlin, who can be described as the true mother of King Arthur, is known as the most prominent kingmaker in the world.

The ability of personal charm. A skill indispensable for kings and leaders, but for some reason Merlin naturally possesses it.

High Speed Incantation : C

is the ability to speak magical incantations at an accelerated speed. All Casters have beautiful pronunciation, though there are one or two exceptions. If Merlin talks fast, sometimes she bites her own tongue so the rank is low.

Garden of Avalon: The Forever-Sealed Utopia is the Noble Phantasm of Merlin. It reproduces onto the surrounding area the “tower” where Merlin is, even now, being confined. Flowers bloom in profusion above the ground, and no matter what sort of darkness or hell that might be, a warm sunlight shall shine upon it. Even if the space that she has been permitted with is nothing but a jail of a mere 10 meters in all directions, and the scenery that was given to her is only an isolated sky found far away in the horizon, it continues to eternally exist as an utopia.

The place where Merlin, the Magus of Flowers, is must not be a hell, but a land filled with hope.

その美しさから、彼女の前では誰もが現実を忘れ、敵意を見失う。
その一方で、美しすぎて（そして誘惑が強すぎて）男を惑わす妖女ととられることもある。

Weapon(s): Various magical spells channeled from her staff, as well as what looks to be the holy sword Excalibur, or at least a recreation of it.

-Strengths: After setting foot in the Garden of Avalon, Merlin became immortal, unable to truly die.

-Weaknesses: Merlin is squishy, despite having much vitality, and can easily be beaten through physical combat and cannot keep up in long fights. Merlin is also very, very average in all stats except her own strength and magic.

Fighting Style: Merlin keeps a balance between the two, able to cast Illusions disguised as magical attacks, and is very skilled in both. Merlin is also able to use a lookalike of the Holy Sword Excalibur to strike foes, but cannot use it’s Noble Phantasm like Arturia or Arthur Pendragon.

Good Traits: Extremely intelligent and crafty, Merlin is the epitome of Illusion magecraft, making her and excellent fighter. Merlin is always a very charismatic speaker, not so much a leader, but can make many offers very tempting to some.

Legend Based On:Merlin from the Arthurian Legends

History of Hero:The Legend of King Arthur. Merlin acted as the driving force for Uther Pendragon, and his later son, Arthur Pendragon’s actions such as wielding the sword of prophecy Caliburn and the sword of selection, Excalibur.

Originating from the Fate/Prototype worldline, she served Arthur Pendragon as his court magus. She is a woman compared to her male counterpart who serves Artoria Pendragon.

Another version of the Magus of Flowers, visiting from a different world. Always smiling regardless of the situation happening around her, she is a woman like beautiful flowers.

In front of her beauty, anyone would lose touch with reality and forget their hostility. On the other hand, her excessive beauty (and allure) make her a temptress that has a tendency to lead men astray. Though her calm demeanor gives the impression of a wise sage, her complete lack of tension and her emotionless way of thinking give the impression of a cold magus with no concern for the affairs of the human world.

"Now, now, no need to get all hot and bothered. No matter what happens, in the end you are all fleeting creatures, just like the birds. All's well that ends well, right? Ah, though I don't really want to see the end, or for things to go unfinished."

Merlin served King Uther Pendragon. Uther loved Igraine, the wife of Duke Cornwall, so he secured Merlin's assistance in winning her love at the price of leaving his child in Merlin's care. Thus, after she rised up as a magus, Merlin helped arrange the marriage between King Arthur’s father; Uther Pendragon and princess Igraine, and watched over King Arthur since before his birth.

Merlin told Uther a prophecy about his child, who would become his appointed successor during their war-torn times. Under an arrangement from Uther, Merlin helped produce an heir bearing the "essence of a dragon", so Arthur was born as a human infused with a dragon's magical energy, Merlin was quite delighted when Arthur was born. Confident that having him separated from the castle until the prophecy was fulfilled was proof that he would become king, she entrusted the infant to the king's vassal, Sir Ector, and had him raised as the child of a knight. Merlin visited at some point during Arthur's upbringing. According to anecdotes, Merlin taught many things to the young Arthur and ascertained the child's growth akin to that of a foster Mother-like existence.

Fate/Prototype: Fragments of Sky Silver

In Fate/Prototype: Fragments of Sky Silver, Merlin mostly appears in Saber's flashbacks. In one flashback, she is seen talking to Saber before he heads off to Rome to fight Lucius Tiberius.

At the end of Sky Silver, she contacts Arthur as he is being summoned to participate in the Second Tokyo Holy Grail via his dreams and offers to heal his exhaustion. Saber accepts. As Saber is about to wake up, Merlin warns Saber that he may have to battle the Servants from the First War again. Merlin then wakes him up.

Merlin is described as someone who is so beautiful, that those who would gaze upon her shall forget any animosity they may have at the time. Like her male counterpart, she has a hood in her first ascension.

She describes herself an older sister, someone who watches over the masters journey. At the same time she is somewhat apathetic and comes of as seemingly uncaring.

She interprets everything objectively, and even when analyzing the ugliest parts of humanity, she describes them in a hopeful tone, saying "Not everything needs to be neat and clean. No matter how sullied you get, as long as you have one clean spot, a single shining star, that's more than enough."

She loves the human world, pranks, and boys.

The Mage of Flowers eludes practically all matters with an interested and amicable smile. Unlike Male Merlin, she preserved her content mindset, never concerning herself with anything.

She's very aware of her status as a stranger to human society. She doesn't lament this fact at all, she just has "humans" and "me" split as two completely separate things in her head.

"I'm just something of a navigator tool created by humanity. I don't really wanna join the club."

"I'm just some woman wishing your journey would last forever. Well, I will pull some strings here and there if I ever feel like the journey is starting to get boring."

Unlike her male counterpart who primarily fights using a sword, Merlin fights using her staff and her Magecraft, shooting magical blasts at her enemies.

To create a workshop, a territory to one's magecraft's advantage. She's not too experienced with Territory Creation, probably due to her life policies as a free spirit who can't stay in the same room for too long.

High-Speed Incantation (EX)

The ability to speed up magecraft incantations. She doesn't use Divine Words, but the beauty of her chants reaches the levels of the fairy language. Merlin's chants are fast, short, and have a tinge of sadness.

Item Construction (A+)

To construct tools laced with magical energy. The staff she holds is a workshop, which can instantly construct a variety of magical items.

Mixed blood with a non-human hominid. Merlin is half-succubus, and completely inherited all of her succubus traits.

Independent Manifestation (A)

The Skill to independently appear in the present world. Merlin can't be properly summoned as a Heroic Spirit. Because there is no future where she dies. She serves her Master as Servant just as way to vent her personal desires. Frankly, it's just a hobby. To enable this hobby, she forced herself to learn this Skill available only to one specific Class, and pretended to have been summoned as a Servant.

The techniques to birth and raise a "king". Merlin is one of the very few Kingmakers in the world, but her rank with this Skill is lowered due to her "doing things right is important, making them fun is even more important" personality.

Dreamlike Charisma (D)

The ability to fascinate people. A Skill that can be considered necessary to be a king or a leader. Merlin is a natural at it, for whatever reason. However, Merlin's Charisma is weaker on humans, because she often prioritizes fun above all else, so life as a king would drive her crazy.

Succubus' Vicinity (EX)

Her power (or nature) as the last Succubus on Earth. A composite Skill of Illusionism and Mystic Eyes. With one glance at the battlefield, she can affect the minds of all targets, friend or foe, and absorb their magical energy.

Due to unknowns events, this Merlin is no longer confined in the tower of Avalon. Avalon will continue to exist until the moment humanity ends.

Merlin perceives Avalon as the image of the ideal future humanity tries to reach.

For that reason, the Avalon she resides in is not locked, but instead left open as the finish line for humanity. Merlin's staff points beyond the horizon. To hope itself, which continues to shine beyond eternity, inviting people to run towards it.
