Воссоздавая саму суть Второй мировой войны, Company of Heroes открывает новый путь развития стратегиям в реальном времени, в котором вы как никогда раньше сможете прочувствовать героизм солдат, разрушения, принесенные войной, и всю стремительность сражений. Начав с высадки в Нормандии, игрок поведет свои отряды в битву против Немецкой военной машины, приняв участие в ключевых сражениях западного фронта Второй мировой. При прохождении насыщенной одиночной кампании, игрок как будто окажется в фильме о войне и своими глазами увидит храбрость простых солдат, оказавшихся в непростых ситуациях.
