the in game vsync will put you at half refresh rate which for most people will make the game run at 30 fps. and other than the slightly sluggish mouse when aiming, the game itself runs great.
It does not work i tried it in Nvidia Control Panel I don't have an option like that and sometimes in zero gravity i die for no reason. Steam version of EA games are baddo you even have an Nvidia card? if you do then yes using vsync from the cp does work. and yes you do have fast sync in the control panel if you have modern Nvidia card but I would not recommend using it.

It also won't work on laptops with just the GPU driver override.
I played this game fine at 60 FPS on desktop disabling the in-game Vsync and enabling it from the driver side (GTX 970), but it never locks the framerate (despite the Vsync setting on the GeForce drivers) on my laptop that runs a GTX 1050.

Это прямой порт с консолей, отсюда и убогая графика
Чтобы не было консольного ограничения в 30 кадр/сек - необходимо отключить вертикальную синхронизацию
в настройках игры и подключить её в настройках видео-драйвера. Тогда получите все 60 кадр/сек
А если у Вас видеоадаптер от nVidia, то в панели управления видео-драйвера, лучше вообще будет включить
Адаптивный VSync для Dead Space 3. Там же можно будет задействовать и FXAA сглаживание

1. Панель управления Nvidia.
2. Управление параметрами 3D.
3. Программные настройки.
4. Выберите программу для настройки: Dead Space (dead space.exe).
5. Вертикальный синхроимпульс: Вкл.
6. Максимальная частота кадров: 60 кадров/с (нужно выставить свою частоту).
Вот и все корректировки :) После которых всё стало отлично работать (fps, чувствительность мыши, невидимая стена после взятия плазменного резака в первый раз, физика тел). Никаких сторонних программ не устанавливал и файлы не заменял. Надеюсь что у вас тоже всё получится, потому что игра замечательная, одна из моих избранных игр :) Обидно было увидеть при первом запуске, что спустя столько времени, проблемы так и не решили. After reading the manuals in search of performance fixes, I found that most advised installing third-party programs and replacement files, which I did not want to do :) I thought that I could fix the problem manually, which turned out to be true :) I still did not understand why no one suggested trying this option:

I did not install any third-party programs and did not replace the files. I hope that you will succeed too, because the game is wonderful, one of my favorite games :) It was a shame to see at the first launch that after so much time, the problems have not been solved. 6 июн. 2014 в 0:17Купил игру и столкнулся с проблемой - очень низкий FPS независимо от настроек (слайд-шоу даже в главном меню).
И дело не в слабой системе (ноутбук уже старенький, но скаченная с торрентов игра у меня летала на максимальных настройках).
Может кто-то сталкивался с этим? Искал подобные случаи в интернете, но внятного ответа не получил.
I bought the game and ran into a problem - a very low FPS regardless of settings (slide show even in the main menu).
And it's not a weak system (laptop is old, but the downloaded torrents game I was flying on the highest setting).
Can someone experienced this? Searching for similar cases on the Internet, but did not get a clear answer.
