  • Frontal Cortex (3 slots)
  • Ocular System (1 slot)
  • Circulatory System (3 slots)
  • Immune System (2 slots)
  • Nervous System (2 slots)
  • Integumentary System (3 slots)
  • Operating System (1 slot)
  • Skeleton (2 slots)
  • Hands (1 slot)
  • Arms (1 slot)
  • Legs (1 slot)

Comparable to other items, there are Common , Uncommon , Rare , Epic , and Legendary and Iconic cyberware to acquire. Some cyberware exists in a combination of rarities while others may only exist in a single rarity.

Cyberpunk 2077

In Cyberpunk 2077, cyberdecks are cyberware that belong to the Operating System category. Other Operating System types are Berserk and Sandevistan. Cyberdecks are unique in that they allow the user to upload quickhacks on enemies while scanning. They also come with some universal quickhacks pre-installed, like Turn Off/On (remote deactivation) or Distract Enemy.

Quickhacks in Cyberpunk 2077 are abilities that some characters can use to affect NPCS or surroundings. You need a Cyberdeck to allow you to use Quickhacks succesfully, when you scan Enemies or machines. You can do things such as deactivating or taking direct control.

Cyberdeck

Cyberdecks unlock Netrunner abilities that allow the user to quickhack people and devices as well as breach into networks.

Each cyberdeck comes with a base set of pre-installed quickhacks, a limited number of slots for equipped quickhacks and a certain amount of RAM which is required to execute them. Different cyberdeck models can vary in terms of their stats and power. Higher quality decks are able to perform more advanced quickhacks.

Cyberdeck RAM

RAM is a resource used when performing Quickhacks. When you upload a quickhack to an enemy or device, it uses up a certain amount of RAM units. A quickhack's RAM cost can be altered in different ways, such as certain cyberware abilities, Perks and differences in level.

Used RAM recovers outside of combat.
Your maximum RAM can be increased with a higher Intelligence attribute, certain cyberware abilities and Perks as well as by equipping a higher-quality cyberdeck.

Device Quickhacks

Every Cyberdeck comes with a pre-installed set of quickhacks. You can find specific details about them and about the cyberdeck in their descriptions.
To upload quickhacks, you must have enough RAM available on your cyberdeck.

Quickhacks Categories

Stealth Quickhacks: used in infiltration scenarios to elude or escape the attention of enemies.
Combat Quickhacks: the bread and butter of netrunners once enemies are aware of your presence. You can cast them to deal damage.
Control Quickhacks: used in combat situations, as they can greatly impede opponents. They can prove particularly decisive against bosses and mini-bosses when deployed to disable cyberware they rely on.
Ultimate Quickhacks: are the most powerful programs, but also the most costly in terms of RAM and upload time. Used correctly, they can potentially eliminate targets instantly.

Antipersonnel Quickhacks

Cyberdecks have special slots reserved for antipersonnel quickhacks to use against your Enemies, and can be customized to suit your playstile.

To upload a quickhack into a target, you must have enough RAM available on your cyberdeck. RAM cost can be altered by different means, such as specific Perks and cyberware abilities.

New Quickhacks can be purchased from vendors, found throughout the world, earned as rewards for completing various activities, sometimes collected after uploading the Datamine daemon to network Access Points, and crafted if you have the necessary Crafting Spec. These quickhack Crafting Specs can also be purchased from vendors, found throughout the world, earned as rewards for completing various activities, and unlocked in the quickhacking Skill tree.

Breach Protocol

Every cyberdeck comes with Breach Protocol pre-installed, which gives it the ability to penetrate networks, and upload powerful programs called daemons that can infiltrate all connected Enemies and devices.

Every cyberdeck also comes pre-installed with the ICEpick daemon. Uploading it succesfully via Breach Protocol will decrease the RAM cost of all quickhacks used on Enemies and devices connected to the network.

New, powerful daemons can be unlocked in the Breach Protocol Skill tree.

Breach Protocol cannot be initiated without a cyberdeck equipped.

Access Points

Access Points are physical ports through which it is possible to access the local network. They can be found by exploring your surroundings or by performing the Ping quickhack on a device or person connected to the same network.

Succesfully uploading a Datamine daemon into an Access Point by using the Breach Protocol will grant you money, quickhack crafting components or sometimes even an entirely new quickhack.

Cyberpunk 2020

A majority of decks are immobile indoor units; however advances in technology has allowed for some decks to be used on-the-go outside.

Portable Decks: These Cyberdecks have internal, rechargeable power cells that can last up to 4 hours (1 hour of recharge = 1 hour of use).

Cyberlimb Decks are even more compact, about the size of a cigarette pack. These decks are installed directly into a Cyberlimb, and hardwired into the body using the I/O ports of the Cyberlimb, eliminating the need for additional wires and power sources. This hardwired option can be dangerous, however, as no-one can disconnect you, and you'll just burn.

Combat Assault Decks: These decks feature full metal/ceramic construction, making them resistant to impacts from either bullets or blunt trauma. Most combat decks are designed with portability in mind, and are able to plug into any phone line.

Improving Your Deck

Memory: For the cost of 5,000eb, an additional memory can be purchased, increasing total capacity to 20 memory units.

Speed: For the cost of 2,000eb, the speed of a deck can be increased by one level, up to 5. The speed of a deck is a Netrunner's most important asset.

Data Walls: For the cost of 1,000eb, data wall level can be increased by one level, up to 10. Data walls protect a deck/user against anti-system programs.

Cyberdeck Options

Trode sets are self-adhering electrodes that allow you run the Net without plugs. They are slower than plugs, but don't have any cost to humanity. 'Trode sets are commonly used by both amateur Netrunners, and "tourists" visiting the net.

Chipreader/recorders use standard chips (10eb each) to store programs, images, or other useful files from your deck.

Keyboards allow a Netrunner to indirectly use a deck. Unfortunately using a keyboard is extremely slow, even slower than using a 'trode connection, but it protects against anti-personal attacks.

Printers allow a Netrunner to create hard-copy images (or records) from their deck. The most common type are small laser-printers.

Scanners are flat plastic plates that have the ability to both read characters and record images. They can vary in size from a piece of small paper, up to around a square meter.

Videoboards are flat, high-definition displays that allow onlookers to see what a Netrunner is viewing.

VoxBoxers act as cigarette pack-sized speakers. They synthesize sound from the deck, granting oral communication from the Netrunner while they're in the Net.
