Teso как включить интерфейс

Обновлено: 04.07.2024

Ive been toying around with the console interface on PC, and there are certain elements I really like about the console interface for instance the damage numbers font is slightly, either different or larger, but I find it more esthetically pleasing. The menu options also remind me a lot of Skyrim and reading lorebooks is way better with the console interface activated. I found an Oblivion interface conversion (which I couldn't get to work for some reason) and it was a cool idea.

So my question is this. Is there an add-on that allows partial use of console interface options, something I can pick and choose which options to enable/disable?

Edit: I don't use a controller btw.

From what I understand, the Console UI is pretty much a separate UI than the K/M UI is. So, not sure how successful an addon author would be at combining them as you can't really use them at the same time.

There are addons that handle the damage numbers better. Me, I gave up on the flying numbers on screen, they move to fast to be evaluated, and are kind of distracting. I use Combat Log Statistics now as I can scroll back through the logs and see all the events in the fight or last few fights. And, my screen is clearer.

Never tried the Lorebooks aspect of the controller UI, but the PC one seems pretty easy to deal with, a right click turns the page, what else do you need it to do?

Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

Thanks for the response @Nestor as far as the lorebooks go, I'd recommend checking it out, its more of a traditional Scrolls style lorebook, large font and multiple pages vs. the wall 'o text we get with the PC lorebooks. Its just one of those things that gives it a more Elder Scrolls feel.

Ah I see, its more like the old games.

Funny, if you go to the Imperial Library and actually copy and paste the text into say an Word Doc or similar, there is not all that much text in a book. But, in the game, especially on the older games and I guess the console UI, it does feel more like a book rather than a paragraph or two of text. It was especially jarring to notice this back in Morrowind in the first editor we had for the game.

Yes, this exactly! If I could just take this one feature from the beta console version on PC, it would add to the overall flavor of the Scrolls experience.

In your previous response it sounded like these two systems are entirely separate and not possible for modders to use. I admit I know nothing about what goes into modding, but it would sure be cool to just add the console style lorebook to the pc interface.

PS: I used to hand write all the Morrowind text for notes. Id also write some of the books out and also came to the realization they weren't that long.

Glad you checked it out @Nestor

The Elder Scrolls Online

I have always used vanilla user interface with gamepad mode on PC, but the removal of scaling has now made this very uncomfortable. Sure gameplay is still 100% functional, but all of the menus I bring up are just waaay to big. Just scrolling through my inventory feels like I'm going to get a headache. I can't imagine the nightmare inventory management is going to be the next time I have to go through it all.

From what I have seen in other threads ZOS hasn't really given a good explanation as to why this was implemented and if/when they will fix it so that scaling works properly again. But given the history of ZOS just making decisions that no one asked for or wanted and just sticking with it, it is probably best I find a way to adapt to this as the new status quo.

That being said, are there any addons that will fix this issue if ZOS will not? I haven't used 3rd party UIs because honestly I like vanilla interface, but I would be open to using one if it means scaling is fixed. If I'm exhausted after a long day, the last thing I want to do is look into a screen where the font is hard to read and is going to give me a headache. This scaling issue 100% will reduce the amount of time I am willing to spend in game, seeing as most weekdays I'm tired and wanting to go to bed before I even log on.

Bandits UI works really well on gamepad, so does AUI, dressing room works on gamepad too. Only ones i really use , i prefer bandits over aui tho.

However with the update my addons are all broken, so im waiting to have them updated before using them again.

ZOS claims that there were "a myriad" of UI-related issues caused by scaling the gamepad UI, hence the change. There were numerous posts on the PTS forums asking to have this reverted, to no avail.

I don't know if an add-on can access UI scaling in gamepad mode or if the API prevents it now. Either way, the US does have laws that require communications (including visual interfaces) to be made "accessible," and some of these laws (such as the Twenty-First Century Communications and Video Accessibility Act, or CVAA) apply to video games as well. The FCC is the US body that regulates accessibility in communications and provides support for mediating accessibility-related issues.

If you want to get in touch with Zenimax' designated "accessibility customer care representative" to pursue a solution, since nothing on the forums has worked so far, here is the contact information provided by the company to the FCC for that purpose:

ZeniMax Media Inc.
1370 Piccard Drive
Rockville, MD 20850

If a company is unresponsive or unwilling to work with you to address an accessibility issue, you have the option to have the FCC assist you. I don't know if this is limited to US-based customers, though, or open to everyone who is a customer of a US-based business.
