System specification requirements not met metro exodus как исправить ошибку

so i installed the enhanced edition (epic games) and I get a white box popup saying "your system appears to not meet the minimum requirements for the pc enhanced version of metro exodus please visit website to find the correct specs, with the reason ;
"Reason: Please install Windows update - KB2670838"
16gb ddr4 3600mhz
No clue what to do, I've had the base game installed on my pc for a couple of months and it worked fine up until recently in which I get the same "Reason: Please install Windows update - KB2670838".
So i uninstalled, reinstalled, verified and nothing worked so i just decided i'd install the enhanced edition, same error, no clue what to do.
If i click run anyway on the white box i just get a black screen, i can tab out of it and i check on discord apparently im running "system specification requirements not met"
Ты запускаешь, что ли, версию с трассировкой лучей?
Попробуй обычную запустить. Не enhanced edition.
обидно наверное на таком монстре не запустить) что в ошибке пишет

Попробуй переустановить игру, и проверь Microsoft visual c++
пробовал переустанавливать, проверял целостность файлов, проверял визуал++, проверял DirectX, результата ноль.
Колян Мастер (1372) Denisok Шкодливый_коТ, значит ошибка в движке. Попробуй очистить все данные игры в документах и program data.
Зачем заменять dx тачка мощная, проблема в другом, а что за ошибка вылетает, сделай скин выложи в тему
Эта версия игры предназначена только для компьютеров, оснащенных видеокартами с функцией трассировки лучей. играйте обычную Gold Edition

I have an RTX 3080 with driver version 466.27, which should be the latest version.
The game crashes on launch if I ignore the warning, so it's unplayable.
Why is this happening and how do I fix it?

Guess I won't be downloading the enhanced version. Not upgrading to 20H2, running 1909 64bit and every game I play runs perfect.

All your games will run just as well on an updated Windows too. It shouldn't be on me to be aware of and manually trigger software updates, the OS should handle that for me. In this case it did not. But do continue to be an elitist ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to everyone.
It also strikes me as pretty unusual for a game to require a specific version of windows 10, I've never seen a graphics error because of a windows version, seems like it should be a GPU driver or DX issue.

I can't possibly imagine why a game built from the ground up for DirectX 12 Ultimate requires. the latest version of Windows designed for DirectX 12 Ultimate. :D
Don't worry mate, it won't break your stuff. I'm running build 21370 here, basically 21H2 development build, two cycles ahead. no issues on my system.

DirectX 12 Ultimate (which this game uses) is a NEW feature that was added in WINDOWS UPDATES. I agree that the opt-in nature of the update is really weird and Windows should just push it to people (I believe they do, you either changed your settings, or are a rare case) but people would complain and complain if they did. I'm not trying to be elitist. The elitist ones are the ones who refuse to update windows for some arbitrary reason.
