For the people who are getting into/just got into the mod, check out your options. There is dynamic glow (turn that off), shadows, textures, and many other useful options.

Useful commands such as: /cg_fov XXX /cg_maxfps XXX

and widescreen fix (in order)
/seta r_customwidth "1920"
/seta r_customheight "1080"
/seta r_mode "-1"
/vid_restart

In your controls, there is lightsaber modes (also for weapon modes), walking, crouching, turning off and on your lightsaber, class special 1 and 2 (for jedi 1 is saber throw and 2 is for slapping), team chat, all chat, voice chat (voice commands, not actual chat), interaction (for objectives (obj)), and Class Configuration (when you choose a class and you get 80 points to spend on the stuff on that class).

Game modes such as Open Mode (pick w/e class you want), Full Authentic (classes based upon the map you are in, and has a limited amount of slots), and finally, Duel Mode (full duel mode, 6 lives, Jedi only)

Click the join button on the main menu and at the top, click refresh list. There are quite a bit of servers to choose from, but choose LOW PING servers as this mod is pretty crappy when it comes to high ping. Once you are in the server, press esc and click join, then select a team (make sure you even the team and don't stack) and choose a class.

стим-версия или пиратка? В любом случае, ставишь игру Jedi Academy (если пиратка - убедись, что она пропатчена до версии 1.01), закидываешь туда лаунчер и в лаунчере указываешь путь по папки Game Data, что в папке игры Jedi Academy. Дальше лаунчер сам должен всё сделать.

9 окт. 2016 в 22:19 I am using Steam through Crossover on my Mac. I read on here that in order to download Movie Battles 2, you need to either drag the mod file into GameData or click Browse Local Files, right click on Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy and select Show Package Information. However, when I click on Browse Local Files, Wine Explorer opens and I am unable to drag the mod file into GameData and the folder Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy does not exist. The closest-looking thing to it is a file called JediAcademy.exe. When I right click on that, there is nothing that says "Show Package Information" anywhere. Please let me know how I can download this mod and if I am doing anything wrong. Thank you. 10 окт. 2016 в 12:29

Yeah there is a very good reason why you can't find that file. It seems that you're using a guide for windows not for mac since a .exe file is a windows file. Use JKA for Mac and install the mod for Mac version. You don't need crossover or wine to install a major mod like MB2 on macs.

Sorry I know this is an old topic, but just helping people out here.

Make sure the launcher exe and MBII_Patcher.dll are in the game's GameData directory.

It will popup asking if you want to update. I've found if I click "Yes" then the Uninstall, Settings, PLAY, Community, Support and Website links are all greyed out.

If I click "No" on the other hand, they are available and Settings can be clicked to verify the installation path.

They might need to fix the Update aspect of the launcher still, or a complete fresh download might work but it's a 4GB download so will have to comment back after I've tried that..

After I clicked Play it seemed to run fine after connecting to my local MBII Dedicated Server (without kicking me out saying the game needs to be run through the launcher, which it would do if I had only used the batch file).

I'm going to try clicking Uninstall and Installing it fresh now, to see if it downloads the latest version right away.

Потребность обосрать какой-то клан и сказать какие они все ноускиллы и утырки - где же лучше это сделать как не в дискорде и голосом?

Хочешь сыграть паг - здесь мы будем проводить паги каждую неделю.

Настоятельно рекомендуется пользоваться не онлайн версией дискорда а скачивать её - так значительно меньше багов и проблем.

Если вы являетесь клан-лидером - напишите админу, у роли клан-лидера в дискорде есть определённые преференции. Ну и выделим вам отдельный канал при необходимости.

Лучше бы нормальный сервер для "игроков СНГ" сделали бы. Как gmpa был когда-то.
