Enable it first in the game customization menu. (When you start a game and you're choosing a difficulty)

After that when you play there will be a sandbox category in the build menu categories with all kinds of goodies listed =)

That sounds like a creative sandbox mode, is there a normal sandbox mode where you cannot spawn anything but play the game in normal parameters? 22 мая. 2020 в 21:37

Sandbox Mode is a game mode that can be enabled at game creation. It allows infinite resources gifts.

The Hull Stabilizer is a structure able to strengthen and reinforce a spaceship's frame and integrity. This increases the hull stability, allowing the ship to Hyperjump without being torn to bits.

Game System [ ]

A Hull Stabilizer is a critical System structure that provides two important functions:

1) A Hull Stabilizer strengthens the hull of a ship, allowing it to utilize Hyperdrives. A ship without a Hull Stabilizer cannot Hyperjump. Each ship requires only one Hull Stabilizer to Hyperjump, regardless of the ship's size.

2) Hull Stabilizers provide a ship with Hull points.

Hull Points [ ]

Hull points constitute the structural integrity of a ship and function the same as "health points". Shield Generators imbue a ship with an added layer of protection, which has its own separate pool of hitpoints or Shield points.

Hull points are a ship's vital points for it to remains stable. If the Hull bar hits 0, the ship partially explodes and destroys parts of the hull, Shield Generators, Hull Stabilizers, Hyperdrives, Scanners, Turrets and Hangars.

A Hull Stabilizer increases a ship's maximum Hull points by 50 and regenerates 1 Hull point for every in-game hour. This effect can stack with other Hull Stabilizers.

Unlike the Shield Generator, which consumes Energy Cell to generate Shield Points, the Hull Stabilizer requires only power to generate Hull Points.

Tactics [ ]

The Hull Stabilizer is an important structure.

The Player should build one as early as possible, as a ship needs at least one to Hyperjump.

Additional Hull Stabilizers could be useful for the Player so as to not be overwhelmed by the stronger 2x2 sized Pirate ships.

It's all on the Player to choose whether to allocate his System Points for more Turrets, Shields or Hull, and what setup to make out of them.

For balance purposes, take note that a Hull Stabilizer regenerates slower than Shields and cannot regenerate while the ship is in combat.

On the other hand, Hull Stabilizer provides twice the "Health" bonus of a Shield Generator (Hull Stabilizer provides 50, while the Shield Generator provides only 25). Also, to function, a Hull Stabilizer does not need Energy Cells or any consumable, only power.

Superblock is an advanced-tier component. Currently it is used for one purpose: building the Targeting Jammer.

As of Alpha 10, Superblocks cannot be manufactured. However, they can, as well as Quantronics Components, be bought from traders, gifted with Sandbox mode activated and sometimes looted in Pirate or NPCs ships but cannot be found in natural derelicts or in any other ways.

Activating [ ]

Sandbox mode is activated upon game creation in the Difficulty tab after selecting a difficulty.

The Player can then Edit starting resources, but also check the Sandbox mode for it to be active in the game.

Once activated and the game is started, Sandbox mode cannot be deactivated. Sandbox mode cannot be activated for a game launched without it either.

Infinite Resources [ ]

Sandbox mode allows the Player to give themselves an infinite amount of every resource partially or fully implemented in the game, including placeholders like the Superblock, but excluding the Rocket.

Within sandbox games, a sandbox tab in the build menu will appear. The Player can then select the resource they want, and lay the desired number of it on the ground.

The selected item will spawn as an item box and will be either stored or used by crew members for a task where it is needed.

Data Logs [ ]

Data Logs can too be spawned with Sandbox mode, but instead of spawning as an item, placing a Sandbox Data Log instantly unlocks a Data Log entry the Player doesn't have.

If every Data Log entry is collected, it becomes impossible to spawn additional Data Logs, even within Sandbox mode.

The Hull Stabilizer requires a 3x3 room to be built plus an additional tile on its front side.
