If you didn't know by now, the PC release for PSO2 has been an absolute disaster. From needing file permissions, to the game deleting itself, not being able to do a clean un-install, countless GB's worth of files hidden on my SSD. After overcoming all of that. Now I'm getting an NP1002 error, which suggests it may be linked to something with Windows Defender. Any tips out there?

Возникает, если между моментом, когда вам выслали код подтверждения и моментом когда вы его ввели проходит слишком много времени

Нужно принять правило пользования
Перейдите на ISAO и подтвердите что вы соглашаетесь с "правилами пользования сервиса"
Error 691
SEGA ID который вы ввели уже ассоциируется с другим SEN аккаунтом. Подтвердите, что SEGA ID и ваш пароль были введены правильно и попробуйте ещё раз.(ошибка встречается на PS VITA. Вы должны использовать первый SEN ID с которым вы входили в PSO2)
After the last update I keep pop out a "NP1002" error when I start the game. I do some research and find out is something to do with "Game Guard" (GG), which is the "anti cheat" program install with the game.
I have the same set up before and after the update. But the last update also "update" the GG as well.
So boom, I can't play the game.
I do some digging and find out GG pretty much a worst version of "Easy Anti cheat"(EAC), which already is useless.
Because GG are not capable with Window system other than Win7, and may provide a security leakage to your system.
Also it will not let you play your game with no reason like this time.
If developer seeing this, plz do something with it, remove GG, which don't do it job right, or change to EAC.
I will reinstall the game after they did something about it.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I should do?

Do you have any old hacks from other games on your system? What about in your hosts file (i.e. hacks that use an online system)?
One PSUMods user suggests that a copy of Windows obtained by sailing the seven seas (arr, matey) could be to blame, also.
