Уточните пожалуйста точное название модели установленной у Вас видеокарты.
Для поддерживаемых видеокарт NVidia сейчас предлагает два пакета драйверов, на выбор.
Это пакеты "Game Ready Drivers", оптимизированные для игр, и пакеты "Creator Ready Drivers", оптимизированные для творческих приложений.
Они доступны для видеокарт GTX, RTX и TITAN на архитектурах Pascal, Volta и Turing.
Проще всего переходить с одного типа пакетов на другой можно с помощью фирменного приложения NVidia "GeForce Experience".
Всем здраствуйте, привет, ну или просто, ЗДАРОВА. У меня такая проблема, у меня просто нету панели управления Nvidia, драва то есть на видяху, но панельки нет. Я хотел поставить лок в 60 фпс в фифе и понял, что ее НЕТУ ПРОСТО. Пытался установить их просто как обычные люди, но возникала ошибка:
the standard nvidia graphics driver is not compatible with this version of Windows. Please update your driver using Geforce Experience to dowload the correct version.
стандартный графический драйвер nvidia не совместим с этой версией Windows. Пожалуйста, обновите ваш драйвер, используя Geforce Experience, чтобы загрузить правильную версию. ( Перевел через переводчик)
Ну вообщем я так и сделал, скачал с Geforce Experience. Не заметил даже сначала что панели нет, но когда захотел поставить лок, вот такая вот приколюха. Windows 10 стоит, с 7 не было таких проблем, 10 обновлена полностью, я даже если качаю самую первую сборку дравов, то ошибка таже. Видяха кстати GTX 1660 MSI GAMING.

Как же такое может быть? Ведь этот драйвер скачан с официального сайта Nvidia с указанием модели видеокарты, версии и разрядности Windows.

Мало кто знает, но у каждой версии операционной системы Windows есть номер сборки. Это значит, что у той же Windows 10 64 bit Enterprise есть множество сборок, которые могут существенно отличаться по своему функционалу.
Да, в идеале, если у вас включены обновления системы, то сборка будет автоматически обновляться до последней версии. Но ведь есть множество компьютеров и ноутбуков, на которых эти самые обновления заблокированы.

Что делать?
Если вы столкнулись с проблемой установки драйверов на видеокарту Nvidia в Windows 10 из-за несовместимости при условии что драйвер подобран в соответствии с версией и разрядностью операционной системы, то первым делом проверьте номер сборки ОС.
Если она ниже 1511 для 10-ой серии Nvidia GTX или 1809 для GTX 16-ой серии, то в вашем случае чтобы установить драйвер нужно обновиться или же переставить Windows последней сборки.
Для обновления подойдет вот эта фирменная утилита Microsoft под названием Windows10Upgrade.
Ее достаточно скачать и запустить от имени администратора. Все остальное программа сделает сама, а именно скачает и установить актуальный пакет обновлений до актуальной версии Windows 10 в которой драйвер на видеокарту установится без проблем с совместимостью.
Hello there. Recently, I updated my Windows 10 Pro "1803" to "1809". My graphics drivers version were "391.35" and I needed to update it to the newest version, which is "419.17". At first it gave the "This Nvidia graphics driver is not compatible with this version of windows" therefore I updated my windows version as I stated above. After updating and doing a full format. I tried again with the hopes of installing my newest driver. Yet now it gave 2 error messages: 1-"This Nvidia graphics driver is not compatible with this version of windows" 2-"This graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware". I tried everything on forums, updating old drivers manually etc. None of them did work. If you could help me solve this problem, I will be real happy. Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately, nVidia's stupid web site and its stupid GeForce Experience have not gotten the message - both continue to try to install the latest driver, even for cards that driver does not support. That pisses me off. I understand that legacy products have to be abandoned eventually. But nVidia is making a ton of money - surely they can afford to pay someone to fix their update routines so that they don't keep frustrating their customers and wasting their time.
