If the game worked fine earlier, but then suddenly stopped, it can be caused by third-party mods or broken configuration. Try these steps:

1. Unsubscribe from all mods.

2. Uninstall the game in Steam.

3. Manually delete the folder, where the game has been installed (it will remain after uninstallation) – …\Steam\SteamApps\common\City Car Driving

4. Turn off the Steam cloud profile synchronization for City Car Driving – open your Steam client, click on City Car Driving with right mouse button and choose “Properties” from the context menu. Then open the tab “Updates” and there turn off the option “Enable Steam Cloud synchronization for City Car Driving”.

5. Delete the folder "Forward Development" from your "My Documents" folder.

6. Install the game again.

P.S: Quite often such problem can happen in case of incorrect program closing. When you’re exiting the game you should use the Exit button in the main menu and be patient and wait until the game will close itself correctly and don’t force it to close earlier, because in such case you may have a chance of damaging the game user’s profile (with all your settings and statistics) or even of the game crashing on the next start up.

This can happen if you run the game on a laptop or integrated video card. Please note that laptops and intgrated video cards are not supported by the game, and were never supported (there was a warning about that on the product page in the system requirements section).

- DxDiag diagnoctic file from your computer after the crash. In order to create this file, press the "Windows" and "R" keys simultaneously on the keyboard, type "dxdiag" in the window that opens, and click OK. In the window that appears, click the "Save all information" button and save the file to where you can easily find it.

Man, that was the quickest dev response I've ever encountered. Kudos to you sir.

I am running this on a laptop, although its for a dedicated GPU. I wonder if the game is running on the integrated card. Maybe there's a way to force it to the dedicated GPU?

I'll give it a go on a proper desktop. BTW, I checked some more and found that its only happening in free mode (I was trying to drive in Australia). Mission mode seems to work fine.

You can try advices below, but we cannot guarantee correct game working on laptops.

Also you can try these steps:

1. Install DirectX and Visual C++ components from this folder manually, go to this folder -
". Steam\steamapps\common\City Car Driving\_CommonRedist\" and install all the components from there. In some cases this folder can be located in a different place - ". Steam\steamapps\common\Steamworks Shared".

2. Update your video card driver to the latest version from your video card manufacturer's website.

3. Update your sound card driver to the latest version from your sound card manufacturer's website.

4. If you're using a racing wheel (or any other controller), update its driver to the latest version from your controller manufacturer's website.

5. Turn off any antivirus or firewall software.

6. Check the game cache integrity in Steam client.

Так, помогите! Кароч, захожу в свободное вождение, всё там настраиваю. Запускаю и где-то на половине, игра меня послала, а затем выдала две ошибки, первая: nebula nMesh2:could not load geometry 'home:export/meshes/locations/VirtualCity/Old_district_new/terrain6.nvx2'! , вторая: Runtime Error.Сделаю все, что надо, только не апгрейд пэка. Раньше у меня игра то шла без проблем. И кстати, эта ошибка была и в 3D инструкторе 2.2.7 .

Добрый день. Убедитесь, что версия игры последняя - 1.5.3. Если нет, то удалите её и заново установите.

Богдан, в смысле - без скидок? В Стим-то часто заглядываете? Например, сейчас стоило бы. А мултиплеер это вообще доп. фича - и никак не может свидетельствовать о сырости продукта.

Евгений, челики только развиваться начали. Не могли вы блен через суд закрыть доступ к Торрент игрокам. Т. Е. Оставить возможность играть в мультиплеер только с лицензионных версий.
И да, где там лагало? Мб народ русский на гиперпнях и GT240 играть хочет, а на лучше денег нету.

Если бы нас устраивало такое качество мультиплеера и такая обучающая составляющая - мы сделали бы его давно. Не устраивает.

Евгений, пользователи хоть какое-то движение ждут в данном направлении. ETS2 TMP тоже с этого начинали, примерно такая же картина с лагами была и ничего. Почему вы не хотите?

Богдан, как я уже сказал, качество и подход к созданию того мода нас не устраивали. Такой мультиплеер для нашего симулятора мы не хотим. Сделаем свой, качественный, как будем готовы. Больше у меня комментариев по данному поводу нет.

Ошибки загрузки/обновления

Проверьте стабильность подключения к интернету, а также скорость загрузки. При слишком высоком пинге или низкой пропускной способности обновление может выдавать ошибки.

О: Есть два пути решения.
Первый — полная переустановка игры. В ряде случаев это устраняет проблему.

О: Чаще всего данная ошибка возникает из-за наличия кириллицы (русских букв) в одном из путей, по которым игра хранит свои файлы. Это может быть имя пользователя или сама папка в которой находится игра. Решением будет установка игры в другую папку, название которой написано английскими буквами или смена имени пользователя.

Ошибка 0xc0000906.

О: Данная ошибка связана с блокировкой одного или нескольких файлов игры антивирусом или “Защитником Windows”. Для её устранения необходимо добавить всю папку игры в исключени. Для каждого антивируса эта процедура индивидуально и следует обратиться к его справочной системе. Стоит отметить, что вы делаете это на свой страх и риск. О: Ошибка возникает в случае отсутствия на компьютере корректной версии пакета Microsoft Visual C++, в который и входит msvcp 140.dll (и подобные ему). Решением будет установка нужной версии пакета.

Нажимаем на Windows + R;

О: Все ошибки начинающиеся с индекса 0xc0000009 (например 0xc0000009a, где на месте “а” может находиться любая буква или цифра) можно отнести к одному семейству. Подобные ошибки являются следствием проблем с оперативной памятью или файлом подкачки.

Перед началом выполнения следующих действий настоятельно рекомендуем отключить часть фоновых процессов и сторонних программ, после чего повторно попробовать запустить City Car Driving .
Увеличиваем размер файла подкачки:

Клик правой кнопкой на значку компьютера, а далее: "Дополнительные параметры системы" - "Дополнительно" - "Быстродействие" - "Дополнительно" - "Виртуальная память" - "Изменить".
Выбираем один диск, задаем одинаковый размер.
Перезагружаемся.

Размер файла подкачки должен быть кратен 1024. Объём зависит от свободного места на выбранном локальном диске. Рекомендуем установить его равным объему ОЗУ.
Если ошибка 0xc0000009а сохранилась, необходимо проверить вашу оперативную память. Для этого нужно воспользоваться функциями таких программ как MemTest86, Acronis, Everest.
