Minecraft vive craft как установить

Обновлено: 02.07.2024

If you are not familiar with the basic gameplay of Minecraft, start with a tutorial.

Minecraft is not a native VR game. Controller input is implemented through mouse and keyboard simulation for maximum compatibility. For the best experience please make sure the game window has focus on your PC.

Vivecraft has 2 major play modes: Standing and Seated. Switch in the VR Settings menu.

Standing play uses motion controllers and allows all room-scale interactions.

Seated play disables all controller input and uses the mouse and keyboard. Most roomscale interactions are disabled but VR functions, like teleporting, can still be used.

This page primarily describes Standing play mode.

Vivecraft ships default bindings for Vive, Oculus, Index, WMR, and Cosmos controllers. See this page for the default bindings in current versions of Vivecraft, and instructions for re-binding.

Different bindings are used for interacting with the world vs. interacting with a screen for maximum compatibility with vanilla Minecraft mechanics.

All controls can be rebound using SteamVR Input.

See this page for legacy bindings from before June 2019.

Vivecraft supports many types of locomotion options depending on your comfort level in VR, what controllers you have, and the mode of play.

The locomotion options available can all be found in the VR Settings menu and may change depending on your version and play mode.

Troubleshooting

The Vivecraft profile does not show up in the launcher! (New as of 12/2020)

The game shows up on my desktop, but not in the headset!

This occurs frequently on systems with dual GPUs such as gaming laptops. The solution is to force your PC to use the gaming GPU for java. If your PC only has an Intel integrated GPU, then you cannot play Vivecraft as VR on OpenGL is not supported by Intel drivers.

For NVIDIA Laptops:

unknown

If your PC is not a laptop or the above solution does not solve the problem:

The game says it cannot detect my HMD!

Vivecraft uses SteamVR to communicate with hardware. You must have SteamVR installed and configured properly. If you are using 3rd party software to emulate a PC VR system make sure it is configured correctly.

See this answer about setting the correct GPU.

My Oculus headset turns off or crashes when loading a world!

The game runs poorly, what can I do?

Minecraft was not written for VR and is not a very well optimized game. Here are some steps you can take to improve performance

The game runs OK but there are constant stutters, what can I do?

  • Use ZGC. This is an option in the Vivecraft installer on newer versions. Requires installing Java14+.
  • Allocate less RAM to your Minecraft profile. Vanilla, un-modded Minecraft does not need more than 2GB of RAM, and usually less.
  • Ensure your PC has enough free physical RAM (and is therefore not using virtual memory, which is very slow).
  • Ensure your RAM is configured correctly in BIOS. Most high-frequency gaming RAM must be specifically set to run at high frequency.
  • Close any background or system applications that might be placing too much extra load on your system.

Make sure the desktop window is not minimized. Alt-tabbing from a fullscreen game will minimize it. If you need to play without the game window in focus be sure to set it to windowed mode via the video settings or F11.

Check the specific settings for your shader and disable motion blur, depth-of-field, lens flare, or similar.

  • Make sure Steam is running in addition to SteamVR.
  • Make sure the game is set to STANDING play mode. Use the mouse to navigate the menu to the VR Settings screen and change it there.
  • If you are using ALVR as an emulator, make sure you are using the version linked from our emulators page that has proper SVRI support.

See this page for some potential solutions

The game starts on a black screen with a SteamVR error message

Error 108: No HMD Found. Ensure you have SteamVR Installed and your HMD is working.
Error 112: Log path not found. This happens when your steam installation has moved. In SteamVR Settings > Developer Options click the Log Path button and set it whereever your steamapp/common/SteamVR directory is.

The game crashes on startup, what should I do?

You will need more information about the crash. Depending on the type of crash this information may be in different log files. Once you have found the correct error message, Keep reading for solutions to common ones.

Where do I find Minecraft logs?

If your crash is not listed below or you are unsure how to read the logs, come to the Discord or Forum and bring your log.

This seems to be a bug in recent AMD drivers. Rolling back your drivers to 20.4.2 or earlier seems to fix it.

Your profile is launching Forge and is missing some critical JVM arguments. The Vivecraft installer adds these to the profile, but may have been deleted. Ensure your profile JVM args includes
-Dfml.ignoreInvalidMinecraftCertificates=true -Dfml.ignorePatchDiscrepancies=true

Go to your .minecraft directory and delete usercache.json. That should sort it.

Check your Windows environment variables for an entry called _JAVA_OPTS that is adding a Xmx256M or similar argument to your java commands. Remove it.

You do not have 64-bit java installed. Install it or allocate less RAM to the Vivecraft profile. 64-bit and at least 2GB RAM is recommended for VR.

This is caused by a buggy nvidia driver released in January 2017 (v378.49). Try updating your drivers.

This is caused by an incompatibility between Windows 10 creators update, 64-bit java, and Rivatuner. You will need to either uninstall or update Rivatuner.

Teleporting

Aim a parabolic arc at your destination and release to be teleported to it instantly. In survival mode teleporting will cause hunger and has an energy meter that refills over time.

Free-Move

T here are multiple options for how free-move works. Switch between them in the Locomotion Settings. Several options also exist for mitigating motion sickness, such as movement speed reduction, increased inertia, and FOV reduction.

The following are the available sub-modes for free move.

Roosmscale Movement

Walking around your play space will move your player in-game. The location of the player is represented by a square shadow. The player has to follow the normal collision rules of Minecraft so be sure not to lose your shadow buddy!

Rotating

Jumping

Walking Up Blocks

Sprinting

Vivecraft includes an Auto-Sprint setting that will activate sprint when a joystick or trigger is pressed far enough. This frees up a button that would otherwise need to be dedicated to sprint. A sprint binding is available if an alternate setup is desired.

An icon on the HUD will appear while sprinting as it is sometimes difficult to tell due to the lack of a FOV-shift.

Sneaking

Sneaking is bound by default to the controller, or it can be activated in roomscale by physically crouching down. Make sure you calibrate your height and that your room setup is correct to use this feature.

While sneaking, an icon will appear on the HUD and the player arms will appear slightly translucent.

Climbing

Ladders and Vines can be climbed in roomscale simply by touching and pulling yourself up. You can also teleport your way up a ladder if you have vertical motion turned off. Vivecraft also includes some fun items for climbing any surface. See here.

Swimming

Swimming using free-movement buttons works much like vanilla swimming.

Flying

Elytra flying is left identical to vanilla. Simply point in the direction you wish to fly. There is no roomscale mechanic to flying, the lawyers talked me out of it.

Riding

Mounting a vehicle (animals, boats, and minecarts) is done via right-click as with vanilla.

Boats can be rowed in roomscale by performing rowing motions.

Vivecraft has a mechanic for attacking and mining in roomscale. Damage and reach is dependent on the item you are using, the situation you are in, and the settings. Some notes:

Vivecraft also has a roomscale bow mechanic. When a bow is equipped in either hand, the bow will appear in the offhand, and any available arrows in the right hand. Physically nock the arrow and hold the Attack button (usually right trigger) to draw the bow. Aim and release Attack to fire the bow.

Damage and Health

Since the HUD is sometimes difficult to look at in the heat of combat, a brief red tint is applied to the whole view while taking damage.

At low health a slow red pulse is applied. It is more pronounced the closer you are to death.

Eating

You can eat food by bringing it up to your face. Assuming you are hungry.

You can also drink but be sure to turn the beverage upside down. There are no straws in Minecraft.

In vanilla Minecraft, all interaction is done via left- or right-clicking the mouse and only affects the block or entity under the crosshair.

Vivecraft attempts to extend this as much as possible within the limits imposed by Minecraft networking.

When a block is touched that supports VR Interact, a white outline is drawn around the block. Right-click-able entities, such as mounts, do not have such an outline, but there is a haptic bump sent to the controller when the binding activates.

Buckets can also be filled from either hand using VR Interact while dipped in water.

Switching hotbar slots uses the VR Interact binding on the main hand.

The HUD

The normal Minecraft HUD will appear in the world depending on your settings:

  • Hand placement will float above your offhand.
  • Wrist placement will put the HUD along the inside of your off-forearm. This is the default for standing mode.
  • Head placement will put the HUD straight out from your view at all times. This is the default for seated mode.

Any in-game menu or screen that opens will always appear fixed in a position just in front of you. All screen interaction is done via the main hand pointer.

Some block or crafting screens, such as for chests, crafting tables, etc. will appear floating over the block.

You can change this in the HUD/GUI settings along with a variety of other options such as partial transparency and occlusion.

The Hotbar

You can touch the hotbar slots to equip the item in that slot. This can be turned off in HUD/GUI settings.

The newest versions of Vivecraft require a click to switch to the slot, as well as allowing an offhand swap.

Backpack Switching

Reaching behind your head with the main controller will switch to the 1st hotbar slot (or back to the previous slot). Good for quickly switching to a weapon.

Reaching behind your head with the offhand controller will swap items between your hands.

You can disable this mechanic in the Interaction Settings if desired.

The In-game keyboard

Vivecraft has a VR keyboard that can be used for typing into text boxes or pressing keyboard keys in-game. The keyboard should open automatically when clicking on a text box in Standing play mode.

You can also bring up the keyboard at any time in-game with a long press of the Game Menu binding. This can be rebound.

Vivecraft has 2 keyboard types available: Physical and Pointer. This can be changed in HUD/GUI settings screen.

The physical keyboard allows typing by pressing 3D buttons.

The pointer keyboard allows typing with 2-handed laser-pointer interaction.

Rebindable actions are available for which controller buttons click on keyboard keys, or serve as modifiers like alt-, shift-, or ctrl-

The keys available on the keyboard can be changed by editing .minecraft/optionsviveprofiles.txt . Look for the settings KeyboardKeys: and KeyboardKeysShift: . The keyboard should support most Unicode characters.

The keyboard will display a warning if the game window needs focus to operate and it does not have it.

The Radial Menu

The radial menu is bound by default to allow access to several uncommonly used commands. The radial menu can be customized in VR Settings. Any keybind can be set on the radial menu, and there are several options available to adjust how it behaves.

Quick Commands

Vivecraft adds a button to the Game Menu (pause menu) to access a set of pre-defined chat or / commands to send to the server with a click. You can customize this list in the VR Settings menu. Handy for commonly used commands like /home or /gamemode. A set of defaults is provided. Praise the Sun!

Compatibility

What hardware does Vivecraft support?

Vivecraft uses SteamVR to communicate with all hardware components. If your hardware works in SteamVR Home it should work in Vivecraft.

The latest versions of Vivecraft provides default controls for Vive Wands, Oculus Touch Controllers, Windows MR Controllers, and Index Controllers through SteamVR Input. Older versions using Legacy OpenVR have varying comparability depending on their release date.

Mobile VR devices are supported through 3rd-party SteamVR Emulators.

No. Not without some external mod that does keyboard/mouse emulation.

Does Vivecraft work with Forge?

Yes for most versions. See the Downloads page for more info, and this page for individual mod compatibility info. Note that Vivecraft itself is not a Forge mod; both the VR and NonVR Vivecraft clients must be installed as their own profile in the Minecraft launcher.

Does Vivecraft work with Fabric?

No. Vivecraft is based on Optifine and cannot be compatible with Fabric without a major re-write. Additionally, A fabric-compatible Vivecraft would still have conflicts with other mods that modify rendering (like Sodium or Canvas). We have no current plans to pursue Fabric, but may revisit this in the future when the Fabric ecosystem is more mature.

Does Vivecraft work with LiteLoader?

Yes, but only on 1.7.10. Install Vivecraft with Forge then extract the LiteLoader .jar and put it in your /mods folder.

Can I use Vivecraft with mod packs?

Yes! See installation instructions below. Check the modpack forum section or mod compatibility chart if you encounter any issues, individual mods in the pack may need to be removed for compatibility.

Using a third-party modpack launcher (FTB / Curse / Twitch / Technic, etc.)

Below is an example for launching the DW20 pack for 1.10.2 installed via the Twitch App.

Does Vivecraft work with MultiMC?

See this page for detailed instructions if you need more help.

Does Vivecraft work on Mac or Linux?

Yes. Vivecraft does include OpenVR wrappers and code for Mac and Linux. To install Vivecraft on either of these platforms, simply change the installer extension to .jar and it should run via java.

Can Vivecraft be played via OpenComposite instead of SteamVR?

Vivecraft supports OpenComposite, however the latest versions of Vivecraft (as of July, 2019) require SteamVR Input support and OpenComposite does not yet support this API. Stay tuned for updates related to this.

Older versions of Vivecraft using Legacy OpenVR may have support for OC that works correctly.
To use: After installing Vivecraft, copy the OpenComposite openvr dll to your %AppData%\Roaming\\.minecraft\openvr\win64\ folder (or equivalent), overwriting the existing file. Create a new empty file in this directory and name it OpenComposite.ini. Vivecraft should now launch without SteamVR. To revert this installation, delete the .ini file and Vivecraft will overwrite the dll on next launch with the steam version.

No. This technology only applies to DirectX and Vulkan rendered games. It is not compatible with Minecraft: Java Edition, which uses OpenGL.

Can Vivecraft be played simultaneously on the same PC with regular 2D Minecraft?

For newer versions this should be possible. Vivecraft relies on mouse simulation for mod compatibility so this method of play is not recommended for modded installations.

Oculus Rift.

Gameplay

No. You are free to use Vivecraft as you wish for playing, recording or streaming. If you enjoy it or use it in your business or content, please consider supporting us on patreon.

Yes! Vivecraft can be used to play on any normal Minecraft server running the same base Minecraft version. You can play with anyone, VR or not.
The VR features you can use in multiplayer depend on the server configuration. See the Multiplayer page for more info!

Can other people see me move in VR?

Yes! With a little work. You will need to be playing via LAN or on a modded server with one of our server plugins. Any desktop players will also need to be using the Vivecraft Non-VR client. See the multiplayer page for more details.

Can I change the desktop mirror?

Yes. Vivecraft offers several options for recording or streaming the desktop window. Pressing F5 while in-game will cycle through the available modes, or options can be set directly in the VR Settings > Stereo Rendering options screen. The Single and Dual mirror modes have no performance penalty. The First Person Undistorted, 3rd Person, and Mixed Reality mirror cost an additional render pass. See the mixed reality cam page for how to set the camera location for 3rd person views.

Can I play seated, but with controllers?

Can I use touchpad-based analog movement?

Yes. Controllers with a joystick will default to this type. Vive wands, lacking joysticks, do not. To enable touchpad movement for Vive Wands you must bind the Move/Strafe Vector2 action to the touchpad in SteamVR Input. You should then relocate any actions bound to touchpad presses to something else.

Vivecraft has a built-in keyboard that can be accessed at any time by long-pressing the game menu button. The keyboard should also open automatically when clicking on a text input field. In some cases key input may not be recognized if the desktop window does not have focus, this is especially true for modded installations. Make sure the game window has focus on the desktop when using the keyboard.
