  • bBorderless = 1
  • bFull экрана = 0
  • ISize Н = 1080
  • ISize W = 2560

Just in case someone out there still using 800 x 600 resolution. Here's the fix!

Having your resolution that low doesn't save you graphics power. The game is optimized (If you can call it that) for 1600x900 and 1980x1020.
You should set your Resolution to at least 1600x900.

What are your Computer Specs?
If you don't know, click Help at the top of your Steam Library and then System Information. Copy & Paste all of that information here. We may know some more tweaks to help you.
There's no sensitive Information in there, so no worries. Beside, you can always delete the post later.

You should try 1280x720 resolution. That's what I use and I'm not playing on a "beefy" computer.
I'm running the medium preset with this:

Why would you put Win10 on that machine? It would have been better with Win7.
That's a similar system to what I used when I first got this game.
If you get 50FPS, that's amazing and don't touch a thing if it's working. You must have some good graphics mods helping you as well. 2019 в 1:19

This system is actually quite fast.

No it wouldn't because Windows 7 sucks.

Windows 10 has and always will run circles around Windows 7.

Even Windows 8.1 is better.

The only thing Windows 7 can do for me is make me laugh.

I built almost the same system years ago. Core Duo 3.9Ghz, 4Gb Hyper-X 1600Mhz DDR3, and a Radeon R7 240 4Gb VRam. I used an after-market oversized cooler on it and it kept the CPU nice & Chilly. I got a nice 40-60 FPS on most games.

The only thing Windows 7 can do for me is make me laugh. What a sad soul. And here I thought you smarter than that because of how you have that older rig running.
1. Win 10 is full of spyware that even sends your keystrokes (anything and everything you've ever typed) to Microsoft. the Game Mode in it controls the resources of your machine and doesn't always give the resources needed for the game you're playing. I gained 20FPS and my GPU has run cooler just by Disabling that and any XBox programs that were running by default on that OS. After using it for a couple months and setting it the way I wanted, it is indeed a great OS. Highly Adaptive and Customizable.
2. Win 8 was Never designed for PCs. It's a Touch-Screen OS adapted to PC. The App Side-Bar had to be removed because it was a serious security risk because it allowed apps to open back doors into your computer. It's a Garbage OS that should only be used on Tablets and Windows Phones.
3. Win 7 Is also a Great OS, that is Adaptive and Customizable like Win 10, but not as Resource Hungry. I used Win XP for 8yrs until I built a new machine and got Win 7 because Vista Truly sucks moose avocados. And I used Win 7 until almost 2 months ago. There was a great performance increase over XP, just like there was with XP over ME and Windows NT. Though XP was built on the NT platform.

When I asked why put Win 10 on that machine, it was because of the age of the Core Duo processor. not for any other reason. Win 10 is a good OS, but it's better on Quad Core or better CPUs because of the demands it places on the system. When I had to switch to it after buying my Ryzen 5 2600, I seriously didn't notice any performance increase. In fact, it feels like the OS is holding my CPU & GPU back . . . Until I disabled Game Mode, all the XBone programs, and all the auto programs the OS has running by default. All in all, I disabled over 30 programs that I didn't need running and the spy-crap MS added into the OS. Why do you think they forced this OS on everyone.

Anyway, this is All Off-Topic and I'm not looking to argue. Each of us has our likes and dislikes, and we don't need to argue about it. Those are my views, and I have done a lot of research because I Build Systems for other people and have to know them.

Windows 7 is fine for a lot of applications, including this one—however, that machine can handle Windows 10 with absolutely NO problems, seeing as how it's significantly higher-spec than your average Windows 7 rig was back in the day.

I've administered Every Windows platform between 3.1 and 10 (Home, Pro, et cetera) with the sole exception of 8.1. Any Windows platform is better than 8.1; that OS version should never have been published. I used a Windows 8.1 computer for about ten hours—once. Never again. I couldn't believe how incompetently that thing was written. They should have called it Bugs 8.1.

As for the demands Windows places on the CPU? Not necessarily true. It's entirely dependent upon the applications you have chosen to operate in that environment, and the demands that they have. However, ultimately, if the user is experienced and savvy enough, he or she can judge for themselves, taking the demands of their preferred applications in mind. What might not be optimal for others very well may be best for Fireheart.

2019 в 11:57 Ive ran them all as well since 3.1. 10 is my favorite. 2019 в 12:29 Windows 7 is fine for a lot of applications, including this one—however, that machine can handle Windows 10 with absolutely NO problems, seeing as how it's significantly higher-spec than your average Windows 7 rig was back in the day. Then the programs themselves like IE (ewww), Firefox and Chrome use more. Especially when you have multiple tabs open . . . Though, I had 20 Chrome pages open on my Core Duo very often and man did it slow things down a lot. LOL
Ive ran them all as well since 3.1. 10 is my favorite. It's fast becoming my favourite as well, now that's I've got stuff shut down that don't need to be running. My game performance has increased since I disabled Game Mode and the X-Bone Apps that I never plan on using. 2019 в 19:27

.
bMaximizeWindow=1
bBorderless=1
bFull Screen=0
iSize H=1080
iSize W=1920
.

3) В My Documents\My games\Fallout 4 открываем Fallout4.ini и заменяем "sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\," на "sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, INTERFACE\" (без кавычек)

[Interface]

-"fUIPowerArmorGeometry_TranslateZ=-18.5000"
-"fUIPowerArmorGeometry_TranslateY=460.0000" (вставляем без кавычек и дефиса)

1) В My Documents\My games\Fallout

iSize W=1280
iSize H=1024
bFull Screen=0
bBorderless=1
bTopMostWindow=0
bMaximizeWindow=0
