First, open Hitman2.ini (with notepad) in your hitman 2 folder
make sure it looks like this :

I bought Hitman 2 because it's in the sale now! So, i asked myself why i can't change the resolutions to 1600 x 1200 not? Because i play other games with 1920 x 1080! I know that the game is older but why can't i do that?

Furthermore, can i Change it in a diferent way?

you can change it also to Full HD, 1920x1080, you only have to tip under "window" an 1 instead of a 0

Windowed mode doesn't work either. It replaces the cutscenes with an empty, grey screen. And the gameplay itself slows down so much that it becomes impossible to play. The problem is that the game was made in a time when widescreen resolutions weren't a standard. 6 июл. 2013 в 11:25 Windowed mode works with all resolutions but only if you have "DrawDll RenderOpenGL.dll" in your ini-file. With OpenGL sometimes there's a shadow bug (characters rendered totally black in some areas), but restarting the game can fix it. 11 авг. 2013 в 12:49 RenderOpenGL doesnt work for me either, the cutscenes won't show, just a grey screen. I used the same method as Codename 47 and it worked. Change "window 0" to "window 1". Then set your resolution to whatever your screen is. On a new line, type: "StartUpperPos 0,0" (without the quotation marks, of course). That's it. It'll be running in whatever resolution you set it to. The final paragraph in Hitman2.ini should be (in my case) :

Resolution 1366x768
DisableHWTnL 0
Window 1
EnableP5 0
StartUpperPos 0,0

С тех пор утекло много воды, компы стали мощнее, мониторы больше, но всё же иногда хочется вспомнить молодость и прогуливание школы за компьютером. Увы и ах, Hitman 2 ничего не знает о современных мониторах, и на выбор предлагает устаревшие разрешения экрана, а играть с ними сегодня как-то не круто.

1. Сначала вам нужно зайти в папку с игрой. Если у вас не Steam-версия, то зайдите в папку, в которую вы устанавливали игру и переходите к пункту 3. Если у вас Steam-версия, то найдите вашу игру в списке, кликните на ней правой кнопкой и выберите "Свойства":

2. Затем в появившемся окне перейдите на вкладку "Локальные файлы" и нажмите там на кнопку "Просмотреть локальные файлы".

3. Вы зашли в папку с файлами игры. Найдите там файл Hitman2.ini , вам нужно открыть его в каком-нибудь текстовом редакторе, например, в "Блокноте". Для этого кликните по файлу правой кнопкой мыши. В меню выберите "Открыть с помощью" и далее "Блокнот".

В игре существуют три уровня сложности:
1. “Casual” - самый простой и замечательно подходит чтобы изучать окружающий мир или если вы новичок
2. “Professional” - подходит для опытных убийц и требует от пользователя отлично думать над своими действиями.
3. “Master” - самый сложный, предназначенный для тех, кто уж знает игру и готов к любым трудностям и Испытаниям.
Сложность меняется при начале Миссии: на вкладке ПАРАМЕТРЫ, просто щелкните мышкой на нужном уровне.
