Every time I try to join a multiplayer game in Aoe 2 the Definitive Edition it won’t let me and comes up with the error message saying "Unable to join game. Connection failed. Source: AdvertismentJoinEvent Error Code: 0x00000004.
Whenever I try and and host a game I get kicked out of the lobby after a few seconds and it says “Unable to Join Game”.
Fixes I have already tried:
Enabling Crossplay Reinstalling and updating the game Turing my router off and leaving it for a period of time before turning back on again Setting up a hotspot with my phone - to use a different network Any suggestions?
Asking the real questions here
You have to move the file from the mods folder to the scenario folder. you can do that from inside the game.
Open a custom game
go to game mode and select custom scenario
click on open scenario folder.
navigate back to the numbered directory(mine was 756611. )
open up mods > then subscribed
Copy out the scenario file ( forest nothing.aoe2scenario
then go back to numbered directory > resources > common > scenario
Paste the file in there.
Go back to the game and back from the scenario selection screen
Go back to game mode and then select customer scenario and it should show there now.

As the title states..I still really hate the MS store at least with Steam we could use workshop to get mods and such.

You should 5 folders - open the one named "Game Content" and there should be folders named "Campaigns" and "Scenarios" inside it.

Александр, Где скачать не знаю, кто выкладывает в тематических группах, посвященных игре, там и можно попросить. А делать как, зайти в редактор сценариев и делать карту, затем строения, местность, потом прописывать триггеры. Это сложно в двух словах объяснить, но я 12-летним пацаном сам разобрался. Можно в интернете найти, как делать на Эпоху сценарии. А потом если с кем-то хочешь поделится или у кого-то взять, то файлы внутри игры лежат, вроде в папке "сценарии" только на англ. Не помню, но тоже сам находил.
