Cities skylines ошибка getthreadcontext failed

Let the video speak for itself:
it used to run in Win7/64 and I played it for hundreds of hours, now, forget it, not backwards not forwards. NONE of the suggested "solutions" have worked, not the ones found here, not the ones found through internet searches.

Sometimes I can't even get the "Paradox" splash screen, sometimes it doesn't happen untill I start a new or load a saved game.
I've gone so far as to COMPLETELY uninstall Steam and all the games, wich included removing registry entries. Deactivated ALL mods anr ALL subscribed assets. No luck.

Delete or turn off your most recent additions from workshop and then attempt to load game. If it persists keep removing workshop items and or switch off save games your not playing. (Заблокирован) 2 мар. 2017 в 14:58I've noticed assets and props popping up in a big save game that I already unsubribed or I deactivated. One clear bugger is the TGV train without lights.
This means assets and mods I unsubscribed and/or disabled are popping up in game.
It happens to multiple assets. Disabling and unsubscribing does not remove the content from the local map. I believe al local content is in a specific map. It needs a file checker or the custom asset panel is broken.
I tried to have less assets for lower ram usage, that triggered the error. Need more ram, 8gb is not enough
дело в том что я убрал это двоеточие, но эта сама игра так названа и у меня не находит Дмитрий Андреев Мыслитель (7016) Рустам Нарбаев, переименуйте папку в директории (на жёстком диске). Лучше одним словом (на английском).
Во 1, укажи название папки другое.
Во 2, стери название папки Cities: стери полностью вручную напиши что угодно другое.
Если не стирается всегда есть вариант скачать эту же игру с другого сайта!
Там в любом случае должен быть вариант просто ты его не находишь, может он простой может он сложный, если все таки его нет.

Еще прикольнул меня вариант а если я или ты не хочешь игру в папку устанавливать что тоже нельзя .
Укажи ДИСК Д или С .
И ВСЕ ВСЕ ЧТО ОСТАЛЬНОЕ ТАМ БУДЕТ ВСЕ СТЕРИ НАХРЕН!
оставь только D:\ или C:\

C:\

Че тебе еще сказать не знаю.
Могу только через Team Viewer удаленное управление за тебя установить или разобраться с игрой будь она проклята тупая игра!
Может еще линукс установить там по моему название папок любые можно но это не точно, да и играть она там не будет.

Ответ: отключите ваш антивирусник, точнее Real-time shield защиту - это временно решит проблему.
В случае, когда простое отключение не помогает, то единственный выход - удалить данный антивирусник. Зачастую такие проблемы возникают с Avast'ом. После этого установите другой антивирусник.

27 янв. 2017 в 11:52To those who gets "GetThreadContext Failed" if you try to just quit the faceit anti-cheat client in your system tray, you should be able to play, you will still get the error but if you just press "OK" to the error, you will be able to play the game, even though the anti-cheat client is still installed.
I spoke to the faceit support, i got this respond:
If you quit the program before you play then you should not have any problems from it as it won't run at all at the same time with Cities; Skylines,
This error isn't actually on our side, but Cities: Skylines side.

Yes, faceit has been causing a lot of various issues. But like grap says, it is facelift. Besides blaming skylines with no reasons points to them, but faceit is an anti-cheat, which means it detects and blocks hack to the games, so it is doing it's job by blocking mods (i.e. hacks to the game). It's just blocking them for the wrong game.
do you have any faceit games running? or have them in memory? this could case issues as well.
