It's time to get ready to fight with the next Hypixel Tournament - SkyWars Doubles Insane!
If you don't know about tournaments or the Tournament Hall, or if you'd like to know more about some of the terms in this post, make sure to take a look at the first tournament post.
If you missed out on previous tournaments, no big deal!
You don't need to have played in previous ones to participate. You are on an even footing in every tournament.
Note: Due to this tournament and to minimize changes, map rotations of SkyWars will be on hold until after the tournament.

This tournament will take place on October 15th .
It will last 48 hours total, from 6 PM EDT October 15 up until 6 PM EDT October 17 .

▶ Tournament Rules
Brackets & Points
There will be 5 brackets in this tournament: Starter, Gold, Diamond, Master, Grandmaster. As with all tournaments, brackets serve for matchmaking. In higher brackets you will play against better players, but also earn more points!
To progress between brackets, you need to earn a specific amount of points in a game to progress into the next bracket and you need to earn more than a certain amount to stay in your current bracket.

Starter Bracket:
Kill: +1 Point
Assist: +1 Point
First Blood: +1 Point bonus
Win: +8 Points
You earned at least 2 Points total: Instant Promotion to Gold Bracket
Anything else = Stay in Starter Bracket

Gold Bracket:
Kill: +2 Points
Assist: +1 Point
First Blood: +2 Points bonus
Win: +12 Points
You earned at least 8 Points total: Instant Promotion to Diamond Bracket
You earned at least 2 Points total: You stay in Gold Bracket
You earned 1 Point or less: Demotion to Starter Bracket

Win: +16 Points
You earned at least 18 Points total: Instant Promotion to Masters Bracket
You earned at least 8 Points total: You stay in Diamond Bracket
You earned 7 Points or less: Demotion to Gold Bracket

You earned at least 40 Points total: Instant Promotion to Grandmaster Bracket
You earned at least 17 Points total: You stay in Master Bracket
You earned 16 Points or less: Demotion to Diamond Bracket

Assist: +4 Points
First Blood: +12 Points bonus
Win: +40 Points
You earned at least 32 Points total: You stay in Grandmaster Bracket
You earned 31 Points or less: Demotion to Master Bracket
Playtime + Max Games
This tournament will last the usual 48 hours. All players will be able to play up to 120 games of the tournament, a game will count towards this limit once the game begins.
- 24 players fight it out in the standard Doubles Insane mode!
- All insane kits are unlocked for all players! Excluding the following, which are disabled for all players:
- Frog kit
- Golem kit
- Salmon kit (you can put the pitchforks away)
Your first win will grant +20 Tributes.
Each win after will reward +10 Tributes.
Each kill rewards +2 tribute.

Leaderboard rewards
Tournament Points are the leaderboard currency.
Ranking on the global leaderboard will earn you huge bonus rewards:Top 1-2: 450 Tributes, 1,000,000 SW coins, 500,000 tokens, 20,000 SW XP, Blaze Pet, 6 Crafted Mystery boxes
Top 3-4: 400 Tributes, 900,000 SW coins, 400,000 tokens, 20,000 SW XP, Blaze Pet, 6 Crafted boxes
Top 5-6: 350 Tributes, 800,000 SW coins, 300,000 tokens, 20,000 SW XP, Blaze Pet, 6 Crafted boxes
Top 7-14: 300 Tributes, 600,000 SW coins, 150,000 tokens, 15,000 SW XP, 3 Crafted boxes
Top 50: 250 Tributes, 500,000 SW coins, 125,000 tokens, 10,000 SW XP, 3 Crafted boxes
Top 100: 200 Tributes, 250,000 SW coins, 100,000 tokens, 5,000 SW XP, 3 Crafted boxes
Top 500: 150 Tributes, 100,000 SW coins, 100,000 tokens, 2,000 SW XP, 1 random Crafted box
Top 1000: 100 Tributes, 50,000 SW coins, 3 SW Loot Chests, 1 random Crafted box
Top 2500: 50 Tributes, 1 SW Loot Chest
Top 5000: 50 Tributes
You will only match one of those categories (top 1 does NOT add up all the ones below)
