1. Resident Evil 4 Cheats, Cheat Codes & Hints July 16, 2005Costumes:
Complete the game once,and sum new costumes will become available at the beginning of a new game. Leon s kitted out in his S.T.A.R.S.uniform, Ada will wear her Assignment outfit, and Ashley will be sporting the full Britney Spears kit.
Professional Mode:
If you want to make a new game after you kill that damn Saddler, you'll be given the option of choosing Professional Mode, which is a more difficult game option, (trust me!). Enemies will take a fair amount of more damage, so you'll have to go easy on the ammo.
New Round:
If you bothered saving the game after beating Saddler, then you load it from the load menu, you'll be able to start a new game, but will keep all of the weapons and items you had on you at the end of the last one.
New Weapons:
On play-throughs of the game, you'll be able to buy both the Matilda and the Infinite Launcher from the merchant. The Matilda is an automatic pistol, while the Infinite Launcher is a well. a rocket launcher; it'll sting your wallet a cool million pesetas to buy it, but it's worth it. The Chicago Typewriter and the Handcannon can both be unlocked by playing through the two mini-games that are unlocked at the end of completion of this wonderful game.

Beat the game on 2 different difficulty levels to unlock one costume each time.

Beat the game on 2 different difficulty levels to unlock one costume each time.
Unlock The Samurai Edge:
Beat the game on Normal or higher as any character with a total time under 5 hours to unlock the Samurai Edge. This is not a sword, just an automatic handgun. Note - Having the game on the menu screen or the pause screen takes up your time. Try and play the game non-stop to do this.
Unlock The Rocket Launcher:
Beat the game on normal or higher as any character with a total time under 3 hours. Note - Having the game on the menu screen or the pause screen takes up your time. Try and play the game non-stop to do this.
Unlock The Special Gallery Option:
Beat Invisible Enemy Mode with a time under 5 hours. Note - Having the game on the menu screen or the pause screen takes up your time. Try and play the game non-stop to do this.
Grenade Launcher Glitch:
For this to work, you must have the GRENADE LAUNCHER and 2 types of ammo.
1. Put GRENADE LAUNCHER in upper-left item slot.
2. Put INCENDIARY SHELLS* in upper-right item slot.
3. Close box.
4. Open inventory.
5. Equip GRENADE LAUNCHER.
6. Open box.
7. Highlight INCENDIARY SHELLS with cursor.
8. Press A twice.
9. Highlight INCENDIARY SHELLS inside box.
10.Press A twice.
* = You can use this glitch with ACID and GRENADE SHELLS as well.

Unlock Real Survival Mode:
Complete the game twice on Normal difficulty. Item boxes do not transfer items and Auto-Aim is disabled.

Unlock One Dangerous Zombie:
Complete the game as Chris, then complete the game as Jill. Forest Speyer will follow you around. He's strapped with explosives, however, so if you shoot him, you die.

Hints:
In Resident Evil you have to remember that there is LIMITED AMMO AND LIMITED SAVES! You also have to remember that the aim of the game is to survive. The only way to permanently kill the zombies is to either blow their heads off or set them on fire (to set them on fire you have to wait until their on the floor and they have blood coming out of them). If you aren't a good shot, or you dont have any fuel (or a lighter) with you, and you make blood come out of them they will come back worse later. First they are normal zombies. Then if you don't kill them, they turn into running, scratching monsters. Then if you only half kill them again, they turn into green aliens. Most of the time,the zombies come out of doors, but be cautious of the windows. Also, to make it even scarier, the makers made it so that there is no music. This is a disadvantege when a zombie pops out, so take in mind that QUIET = ZOMBIE POPING OUT! It's no fun if you run out of bullets and the zombie is still alive, so make sure that you ALWAYS CARRY these things:
Mixed Herbs (Red and Green)
A Blue Herb or some Serum
2 cases of ammo for your equiped item
Anything that you don't know what to do with such as a Jewelry Box or a Metal Object (it's a pain when you come to the place where you need it and it's halfway across the house) If you put whats in that list exactly (and you only have one item that you don't know what to do with), then you should have enough room for an empty slot (playing as Jill enables 3 empty spaces instead of 1). This is a very useful and reliable technique of playing.
At the beginning, you have many choices:
Mountain Climbing - Hiking: Choosing Hiking makes it have less zombies.
Chris - Jill: Chris has more life, but Jill can carry more.
Take note that these choices change the ENTIRE game.

Sick Cutscence:
When your in the mansion go to the bathroom on the 1st or 2nd floor (I forget what floor the bathroom is on) but when your in the bathroom drain the water from the bathtub and you'll see a Zombie come out of the bathtub and it will collaspe on the ground and try to attack your charater, the charater will smash the head, after that happens your charater will puke in the toilet.
